Sand Point South on Alligator Point

A secluded single family home on the gulf with 100 feet of perfect sand beach frontage. The curved 300' driveway shields the house from Alligator Drive. Your privacy further insured by the nearest public beach access being 1.5 miles away. The home is just 400 feet from the Nature Conservancy’s 145 acre Phipps Preserve. Miles of little traveled beach strolling right out the door.

3200 Sq Ft home with another 1000 Sq Ft of screen porches and 600 Sq Ft of open sun deck. A third floor tower, high in the pine tops offers view towards Dog Island and St George. Great outdoor cooking includes gas grill, gas flat top griddle, Traeger pellet smoker (pellets provided), wood smoker (fire wood and charcoal provided), charcoal grill and wood fired pizza oven. 3 Bedrooms and 2 bunk rooms. One bunk room includes game room, 65" TV, books and games. Great room opens to screen porch with two 12' doors on either side of see-thru fireplace. Spiral stair case connects the 2 screen porches and the top floor tower. Two beach side fire pits, shower house, sauna and beach items located under the house beachside.

The home will sleep 16 - 8 adults, 8 children. Master bedroom with king size bed. Upstairs Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and a patio door to a second floor screened in porch. Bedroom 3 has a queen size bed and also adjoins the second floor screened in porch. The kids' bunk room has 2 bunk beds - each with a full size mattress below a twin mattress. The second bunk room is 16' by 32' with two twin size day beds and a bunk bed with a full mattress below a twin mattress. This room also serves as a game room with 65" TV, books and games including a two person "pop a shot" basketball game.
We try to provide all that you would need for your stay at our home including paper products (paper towels, toilet paper), dish soap, laundry pods, spices, flour, sugar (white and brown), coffee (ground and some k-cups), tea, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, sunscreens, bug repellent (spray and Thermacell Patio Shield Mosquito Repeller). There is a basket of beach towels (25) by the door for your use as well. There are 15 beach chairs, 3 umbrellas, 3 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 9 personal floatation jackets (tow be worn while using kayaks and paddle boards), 2 tubs of beach toys and games, horseshoes, badminton, and fishing rods and gear.
Prefer Saturday or Sunday check-in day.

Great, quiet place to vacation!

This house was amazing! It has pretty much everything you need for a great relaxing vacation. The kids loved the game room. The adults enjoyed all the places to relax and cook. And everyone loved the beach. 10/10 highly recommend. The owner was very easy to work with and communicates very quickly.

Amazing family getaway

Property was perfect for our family vacation. Home had everything you could need and then some. There is nothing bad I can say about this property. Beach is amazing.I have never seen dolphins swimming up an down the shore line like they did there.

Family retreat

Great house with everything you need

Our stay at Sand Point South was great! This is a beautiful home that has everything you need for a fun filled stay at the beach! We enjoyed cooking on the deck as well as in the kitchen, fishing off the beach, going for long walks with our pups, kayaking in the preserve. We will definitely be back to stay here again with friends!

This property was wonderful. We have stayed at many places and none of them were like this. They had everything you could need and then some. They take really great care of their property and the privacy is none other. Neighbors are friendly. They are quick to respond and keep in contact to make sure you are taken care of. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again.

Great place for a vacation

Nice house, very clean, everything worked. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. They have every item and utensil you could possibly need, including a shrimp de-veiner. Quite possibly the nicest beach house I have ever stayed in. Owners were helpful, friendly and efficient.

Bonafide winner!

Our stay in Alligator Point exceeded all expectations! This home is so well designed with an open floor plan on the main level that flows onto a huge deck that overlooks the gulf of mexico. Truly a five star experience! Can't recommend highly enough.

Perfect place for reconnecting with family and friends.

New, well-built, wonderfully peaceful location, loaded with amenities, and lots of thoughtful extras. This house went beyond expectation. I'd wake up in the morning and sip coffee from the balcony while watching my kids scream with glee in their pajamas on the beach as they watched dolphins pass by. The owners were accommodating and very responsive. We're already planning our next stay.

Peaceful, splendid stay under the tall Pine trees of “old Florida” beaches.

Picking a spot where our family could gather for relaxation, celebration, and reconnecting conversation was important for our selection…. We found it and more at Sand Point South! An amazing week of family fun; we found it all. Room for large family dinners, board games and outdoor space. The peaceful foggy walks on the beach to the lovely sunrise to the east while the full moon set to the west (both over the water!); adding the porpoise schooling the bait inches off the shore….slice of heaven- we feel blessed!

Great property for adults and kids!

We had a wonderful time at this property! Plenty of space for our three families - total of 6 adults and 8 kids. The kids absolutely loved the little lookout room on the very top floor, all the games, and beach toys. The adults loved being on such a secluded area of the beach. We didn’t have to worry about any traffic or many other people with so many young kids around. We also enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided at the house. The owner was very responsive to any questions or requests. We all travel together once a year and we will definitely consider a return trip here in the future!

Great wooded beach hideout

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay on Alligator Point in January 2020. The house was beautiful, new, warm and inviting. We enjoyed cooking, kitchen is amazing, very well stocked, nice gas fireplace in tv area that leads out to deck. Views and the sounds of the waves were relaxing. We built fires at night outside by the beach, took long walks everyday, we could see the sunrise & sunset. Great to recharge & bond with our kids ages 11 & 13. Yes the WiFi was good too!! Not much around, so bring everything with you. We will rent again! Thanks Jeanne for sharing your home..

Absolutely amazing!!!!!

Our family of 6 and another family of 4 spent the week and had the best vacation of our life! This place is a dream come true! The owners respond quickly and had everything we could possibly want!..we especially loved the kayaks!! The only thing I can think of to help us next time would be to figure out a way to have room to pick up groceries on our way in since the walmart was 40 minutes away. I cant even put into words how beautiful the house and beach and view are! The pictures are not deceiving! We will for sure book this again.
