Amazing Kanab Hospitality

Thank you Happy for the hospitality and providing such an affordable yet wonderful space. Megan, my lady and I had a very long driving day from Tucson to Kanab, got in relatively late, and had two nights. Firstly, Kanab is stunning, and secondly the room was a perfect match to our needs. Happy greeted us when we arrived and was very pleasant. They afforded us the space we needed to unwind and relax for the next stage of our long road adventure. Although we had huge plans to explore the area, the comfort of the room decided for us that we would instead rest and recharge. Thank you for providing this place at such a great price to people. 10 stars out of 5!

Perfect for a weekend in Zion

Happy is a great host and was very helpful with hike recommendations and ensuring we had a great stay. Bathroom is massive! Small nook with microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge. Chairs out front to enjoy morning coffee. Location was great for Zion, about 1 hour to Zion via East entrance. Would recommend!

Amazing Place!

Wonderful accommodations, cute room and large bathroom!! Super friendly host!! Happy was very personal and helpful with planning our national park visits and recommendations with where to eat. Great property and porch with amazing views!!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Quaint

Other than the mattress - the place was perfect. I just needed a place to sleep at night after hiking all day. The shower water was hot. I was able to heat up my cup of tea in the morning and at night. The mattress was too hard for my taste. There is a room with a queen bed, 2 night stands and a closet. A small fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was very roomy and well equipped. Plenty of room for 1, maybe 2 people if all you're doing is using it to sleep.

Great stay with great views

The owner is a great guy and does everything to make your stay pleasant. Killer size bathroom really makes it nice too! Will visit again. Sure beats a sterile hotel room Close to town and easy to get around, Kanab is glorious!

Very Nice

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The property manager was available, kind and personable. The bathroom was huge and gorgeous. The room was a bit small. We missed not having a television ... I am a news fanatic. But overall we loved our stay.

Kanab stay

Property was very nice. In a secluded hobby farm type subdivision. Had a nice view. Was attached to the owners house. Had a circle type gravel driveway. Happy the owner was very personable & friendly. We had some of his famous homemade ice cream. Out stay couldn’t have been any better. Much better than a room in a motel. We also sat in the famous VW buss.

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic time staying here. Happy was very helpful and generous, he makes some awesome homemade ice cream that he was always willing to share. He also gave us some awesome advice on where to go for dinner or for a morning coffee. I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone traveling through Kanab.

Happy was a great host. Attuned to the needs of his clients. We had a change of plans due to the heat. One item that was not evident to arrival. Web site pictures showed a room air conditioner. The room was conditioned by house air. However it really wasn't adequate.

Perfect Getaway Spot for Relaxation

I went up to Kanab on personal walkabout and stayed at Happy's place. He is a great guy and the room I stayed in was very clean and comfy. Easy to get to Zion and Bryce. Will never forget this trip.

We only did an overnight but it was perfect for that. Clean, comfortable, quiet and dark at night. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the Kanab area.

Laid back in Kanab

The property was just as advertised and met all of our needs while visiting in Kanab. Happy was very quick at communicating, provided us with great suggestions on what to do while in the area, and even did a load of laundry for us. What a pleasant stay and fun time getting to know Happy.

Bus Stop Inn was great

After spending each night of our 8-night vacation in a different place, we should have booked at least two nights for this location. The property was clean, comfortable, and very close to town, like a 5 minute drive. We had such a great evening sitting out to watch the sunset and stargazing. The St George airport is an easy and pretty drive, as are the surrounding parks. Highly recommend this property, and we hope to come back again!

Kathy and Happy enjoy meeting folks from around the world. We often take guests on local hikes, and as scheduling permits, enjoy a meal together. We live on the property. We also share two classic Volkswagen campers that guests can use for an evening meal or late night libations! A very cozy, unique experience.

Why they chose this property

This is a very private property with a stunning view of the local red cliffs, and a view of the Kaibab Plateau ( the northern half of the Grand Canyon). It's also remarkably quiet, and very dark at night: you can see the Milky Way and stargaze. It's only four minutes to the center of town.
