This 1,000 sq. ft. freestanding home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and sleeps four comfortably—six with the queen memory foam sleeper sofa. Ideally located near Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, and Aspen, it’s the perfect base for your adventures. The moment you step into this stunning detached guest house, you're greeted by breathtaking views of Mount Sopris. Relax by the cozy stone fireplace (electric insert) while watching a movie or playing games, cook in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, and unwind on the spacious deck overlooking Carbondale. With high ceilings, heating, cooling, and all the comforts you need, this retreat is perfect for a getaway. Up to two pets are welcome with approval and an additional fee—please review our pet policy before booking.

Enjoy two primary ensuite bathrooms at either end of the home featuring a queen bed, ensuite bathroom with tub and shower, desk area (in second bedroom), a walk-in closet, and a sliding door to your expansive deck with stunning views of Mount Sopris. The living room offers a queen-sized pullout couch with a memory foam mattress for extra guests. Enjoy sunsets over the mountains as you play a game, watch a movie, or simply take in the view.

The open kitchen boasts granite countertops, a gas range, oven, and dishwasher. You'll find everything needed to prepare meals, including a blender, coffee maker, utensils, crockery, and pantry basics like salt, pepper, sugar, and olive oil. A new washer/dryer is just around the corner from the kitchen as well. Step outside through the sliding doors onto your expansive deck, the perfect place to soak in the beauty of Carbondale. The Sopris Sundeck is an ideal retreat for families or friends looking to explore the Roaring Fork Valley.

PLEASE NOTE:

- This home is positioned on the side of Red Hill, overlooking the entire valley. There is a small amount of road noise that can be heard from the deck as you are a 1/4 mile away from HWY 82.

- PETS: We allow up to two well-behaved DOGS in the space as long as they are disclosed to us before arrival. We charge a pet rent for each pet, per night and your pet fee will automatically calculate on your booking. If pets are not disclosed and the pet policies are not followed, there is a $1,000 fine per pet. Pets cannot be left alone in the home alone (unless crated), dispose of pet waste, and keep pets off of furniture. Please follow these rules if your dog is staying with us and help us keep this space pet-friendly for our guests!

- We require the home to be cleaned every 14 days during a stay, a service that is included in your booking payment up to 29 nights. If you have booked for 30+ nights, an additional payment will be requested after your booking is confirmed to cover this service.

- You will be staying in the heart of the beautiful - and wild - mountains of Colorado. You may see or experience animals and pests such as bears, deer, elk, mice, packrats, insects, bobcats, snakes, raccoons, and other such wild things. While all our homes are well-managed, we cannot predict the unpredictable as we live in a natural setting. Please understand this prior to booking this home.
