Homely house with lush gardens

I stayed at the property with a few friends and we really enjoyed the experience. Everyone stayed very comfortably and the house was perfect for the gathering as the kitchen is very spacious and so is the garden. We also really enjoyed the fact it has an annex as it allows for extra privacy for those who need it, whilst still being close to the group. The local area is also very beautiful, and offers good walks and cycling routes straight out from the house. And Last but certainly not least, the communication with the owner was really good and all our questions were answered promptly. I would certainly recommend this property to others.

Coopers Farmhouse Houghton

What a fantastic home, I went with 10 girlfriends, we are all young 60 year old ladies. The house is amazing so beautiful a great place to stay when a group of people want to get together. The kitchen area and dining was so good we could all sit round the table together and just talk over a gin & Tonic, and a glass of wine. The cooker in the kitchen was so big we could cook for all of us. Lots of crockery, cutlery, glasses, and a dishwasher to put all the washing up in. Loved the wallpaper in the downstairs toilet. The whole house was beautifully decorated, we were all respectful that it was someone's home so it was just idyllic. The TV lounge was a great room especially for our saturday evening viewing of 'Strickly' but if anyone did not want to watch there was the beautiful lounge to sit in. I had the master bedroom with my best friend wow what a room, lovely bathroom also and dressing room. On Saturday the weather was fine so we all went into Stockbridge and strolled around the shops then went on a nice walk. On Sunday we all prepared Sunday Roast put the meat in the oven and then walked to The Boot Inn very nice pub. Sadly we all left on Monday morning but with truly happy memories of an absolutely lovely weekend all together. Thankyou so much Rosie.
