This cozy cabin is located in Carnelian Bay. Enjoy comfortable furnishings, an open floor plan, and a warm fire after a long day of adventure! Home includes 3 bedroom with additional den, 2.5 bathrooms and a 2 car garage for parking.

Some of the enjoyments of the home are the large kitchen that opens to the living and dining room. Enter into the lower level where you will find the kitchen, living room, den and primary bedroom. There is a shared full bathroom on this level as well. Upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms and a shared hallway bathroom.

There is a two car garage with plenty of room for your cars and all your ski equipment. You are 20 minutes away from Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. Minutes from Tahoe City and Kings Beach shopping, grocery stores and restaurants.

Parking:
Parking is available for a maximum of 4 vehicles. 2 In garage and 2 in driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!

Comfortable and accommodating

Lots of personal touches make this feel like a visit to family. Great rustic location. Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of good walking routes throughout the neighborhood. Really app Just two of us, so plenty of room. Kind of a “workation” for us, so very glad to have fast & reliable WiFi. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Weekend in Carnelian Bay

Took a sister’s trip with our pups for a long weekend getaway. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. A huge plus there is a ceiling fan in the dinning area that helped cool off the house in the warm Tahoe weather. Great neighborhood to walk the dogs in!

Cozy cabin

We enjoyed our stay. What we liked the best was short steps from the car to cabin. The cabin was well stocked for cooking. The barbecue was dirty and the propane container was empty. The beds were to0 soft. Overall it was good and a quiet neighbors.

Everything you need and more

What a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed everything about this charming home. The location is perfect for so many activities and we took advantage of them all. After a lake day, paddle boarding, river rafting, bike ride and hiking we could easily relax in the wonderfully quiet home. Thank you for sharing paradise with us. We hope to return again in the future.

Great getaway in the woods

Nice place close to everything we needed. Has everything we needed. Only down side I felt was that the bed upstairs needs to be replaced, not comfortable at all. Otherwise, great value stay and we would book again.

Cozy cabin in the woods

Property while dated, is well equipped and furnishings are comfortable. Neighborhood is tranquil. My only suggestion would be to free up some closet space for guests. We had a nice stay (family of 4 with 1 dog) for one week, reading books, hiking, and the kids continuing their summer classes (internet worked well).

Like a home away from home.

The house was very nice and clean. Had a great homey feel. Kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils. Plenty of blankets, puzzles, DVD's. However, most beds were uncomfortable and only one small television functioned. No DVD players functioned.

Reviewer Comments: This 3+ bedroom house is designed to accommodate large groups, so my wife and I had lots of room. From the 8-foot dining room table, inexhaustible supply of dining and cookware, to the 5 TV's there is lots of room. The wifi (2G and 5G) was strong, which is important to us. The house is on a corner lot so there's a bit more traffic than we liked, but it was well off the main road. One particularly nice feature was indoor garage parking with a supplied remote clicker.

The home was roomie and near town, making it very easy to enjoy the Tahoe sights and locations. Some downsides to the home were that the TV was near its end, the picture was poor, the bed mattresses were rather hard (we prefer a softer mattresses) and a few of the appliances were broken (which was a very minor inconvenience) Overall, this was a very nice, inviting home. I would recommend it every day, and any day, over a small uninviting Hotel/Motel room.

Great group stay!

The location and property were absolutely perfect for a group getaway. There were multiple rooms and bathrooms which made staying with a group quite easy. The only very minor issue we had is one of the rooms had a decent amount of dust, so two of us were relatively congested during the stay, but this is not something I think anyone can really complain about as it's a cabin up in Tahoe. Perfect and cutesy cabin feel too.

Nice home with a garage which was nice because it snowed. Carpets are a bit worn. Range needs some work to operate properly. Need a sign for upstairs furnace thermostat location. Rooms were nice and very quiet neighborhood which was convenient to everything. Definitely try it again

Tahoe Stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. It was so cozy. Plenty of room. The only bad thing was the fires. Could not really do much because of the air quality.

Very comfortable for family of 5. Nice deck, Plwantyvofcseatingctoveat, one good size shower, the other upstairs was very small for my sons. No shower in master, only toilet. Could use some better cookware. Very relaxing stay. Thank you.
