The space

Enjoy our modern, open concept 3 bdrm/ 2 bath hm in an upscale gated community in Pinetop-Lakeside with hot tub. This is a lake community with private access to Rainbow Lake(about a 5 minute walk) Kitchen has newer appliances, gas stove, granite countertops. Family room has wood floors leather furniture, 60’ flat screen, with surround sound and Samsung Blue Tooth Music Soundbar. Master bdrm has 50’ flat screen and comfy king size bed. Kids room is a full over full bunk bed with trundle. Also, 50’ flat screen in kids room. Master bath is huge with walk-in shower and heated towel bar. Garage is available to secure equipment and toys and guests have access to use of toys in the garage(kayak, canoe, bikes, etc). Spacious backyard with natural gas grill and back porch for additional relaxation.

We are located in the beautiful White Mountains in Pinetop-Lakeside near Rainbow Lake. This home is perfectly situated for both a winter getaway or a summer vacation. Our community has tons of events, dining options and outdoor activities. We also enjoy private access to Rainbow Lake.

The house sleeps 8 comfortably with 1 king, 1 queen, full-over-full bunk bed with single trundle, and a fold out single in the family room.

There are an abundance of toys to explore the private gated community. With several bikes, 2 kayaks, and a canoe you will have an amazing time!!

Backyard is a private playgroup with over an acre of land with an open 2 acres on the side. Very private.


Guests will have access to the entire home. Guests have garage access to secure gear but please no car parking. There is plenty of parking in the driveway for 4 cars. Restricted access to master closet but there is plenty of storage throughout the home.

Clean, comfy home near the lake

We had a wonderful stay! On the day it wasn’t snowing, we used the rackets to play tennis and used the basketball court. After it snowed, our kids (and dogs) had a blast playing in the large yard creating snowmen and having snowball fights. Then, to warm up, we all jumped in the large hot tub outside. We all had a wonderful spring break. Thank you!

Lovely property walking distance to lake

Stayed here over Thanksgiving. Family had a wonderful time. Owner of property very responsive and gracious. Property felt more like a home than a rental. Kids want to come back!

Great house with extremely responsive owner

The owner did a great job of communicating from the moment we book all the way through checkout. The house was great and all the games/kayaks/bikes/fishing equipment/hot tub/kitchen gadgets were a wonderful addition. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to stay here again very soon!

Quick Family Get Away

The property was clean and in a fantastic location for anyone who just wants some quiet time and a good fishing spot. My teenage son left an item at the residence, and the owner had it shipped back and was super good to work with.

Family Outing

Very large lot and the house accommodated our group of 8 perfectly. Loved the bikes, kayak, canoe, hot tub and the many other great amenities available. Brian was very accommodating and awesome to work with. We would definitely book this property again.

Family getaway from the Phoenix heat!

Our whole family enjoyed the property. The kids LOVED the bunk beds (ages 3 and 6), board game variety, backyard/patio, bikes and basketball. The area was great as it was a short walk to the lake.

Fishing & boating

Our kiddos are really into fishing right now and this was the perfect getaway location where the lake was walking distance and our teens could head down there for some fishing when they wanted. This property had everything from the canoes, paddles, life jackets and even the fishing poles if you didn't have your own. The backyard was great to come back to in the evening for grilling and just hanging out. As a working parent I will also add that the free wifi was great and had great service for my day of working remote at the lake.

Fall Break Vacation

We had a great time staying here! There were 4 adults, and 4 children, and the space was perfect for all of us. The backyard - fire pit, horseshoe pit, and tranquility was just what we needed. A few steps to the lake, and amazing views. This is the mountains and nature, we met a few wild friends - and really enjoyed the cooler weather. Brian was responsive, helpful, and a great resource for our stay. Definitely will return if we head back up to the White Mountains. Kids and adults had a fun, relaxing, amazing weekend!

3 day weekend vacation

The place was in a great location within a beautiful setting. Quiet safe neighborhood located in a gated community. The backyard was huge with a nice patio. Perfect comfortable living room for my family to relax and watch tv. Well stocked kitchen with nice gas range for cooking. They even had a brand new air fryer, which was a nice surprise. Brian was very responsive the few times I had questions. Would definitely consider coming back for a longer vacation! Thanks Brian!

Summer Getaway

Brian was an awesome host! He had many recommendations of things to do in town and restaurants to try. I stayed at Brian’s home with my wife and parents during the summer. There was ample space for us to gather and cook. The community the home is nestled in is absolutely perfect with friendly neighbors and dogs! We were lucky enough to be in town for the Balloon Festival which was awesome to see the small town gather. The balloons fly right over the house and the lake! I would absolutely stay at Brian’s home again, but bring my own shampoo and body wash!

Great Weekend Stay for Fishing

We spent a weekend here and it was a great place for a getaway from the heat down in Scottsdale. The house had a ton of useful amenitees that you usually don't see in a rental such as kayaks and canoes which were really easy to get to and from the water. There were also bikes, sleds, and fishing poles. This house is really stocked for outdoor activities in any season. The kitchen was well-stocked which was nice since we didn't have to buy little things like some seasonings and other stuff you typically forget on a weekend trip. The backyard was great there is a large outdoor patio with a nice grill and horseshoe set up which made it really easy for us to just hang out around the house. Communication with Brian the owner was very easy and streamlined the process we would definitely right here again.

Great getaway in the Arizona pines!

We stayed for three days in this great location to get out of the heat of Phoenix and do some fishing. The property was exactly as described and owner was extremely responsive with all communication including a frantic text at 10pm about not being able to log onto wifi. He responded immediately with the information we needed. We are family of four- two boys ages 12 and 15. The property has so many amenities that we enjoyed- horseshoes, darts and the most fun my boys had was riding the bikes around the neighborhood which is something we can't do at home. They both said this was their favorite part. There are about 10 bikes of all sizes so the whole family was able to take one out. There are also three boats but we never had a chance to use them which would definitely be on our list for a return visit. Super easy access to the house with a Nest keypad entry, check-in was a breeze. My husband loved not having to keep track of a key and says he's going to put one on our house as soon as he can. Property was super clean and had everything we needed.

Great summer getaway

My family enjoyed six nights at this house in a gated community. The house was the perfect size for my family of four (2 adults plus adult children aged 20 and 22). Nice open floor plan and spacious backyard. Lots of outdoor seating and fire pit was fun. Great kitchen and outdoor grill that we used for nearly every meal. There is a Safeway and Walmart grocery stores right down the road. We loved walking in the gated community - beautiful homes and plenty of trees. Super quiet and loved being away from the Phoenix heat. The owner offers plenty of outdoor toys (canoe, kayak, bikes, etc.) but we did not use - preferring instead to hike, golf and travel to Fools Hollow Lake (about 20 minutes away), which is a great all-around recreation area for swimming and lots of rentals like motorized fishing boats, stand up paddle boards, etc. Access to Rainbow Lake docks (open to community) is about a 5 minute walk from the rental property but we did not go as it is really not for swimming or wading. We did not see many people or much activity on the lake within the gated community . Thank you for a relaxing, quiet time!

Great Get-Away

Great neighborhood and location. You feel like you are in the middle of the woods yet everything is just minutes away. It is a great place for a family with children or for a couple just trying to get away and relax. Brian was great. He was readily available to answer questions. My husband and I recommend this vacation home.

Perfect for family

This house was perfect for my family. A great way to get out of the big town and away from busy day to day life. It was clean and well equipped, just as described. The only thing I could possibly wish for would have been a fireplace. Though we enjoyed the firepit and horseshoes outside, our stay was windy on and off and the firepit felt not safe at times. The kids LOVED the bunk beds and big TV in their room. We definitely recommend this house and plan on staying again in the future.

Why they chose this property

We love this property for both the community and the neighborhood. Lakeside has tons of great food and events(check out Pinetop Chamber of Commerce for listing of events)

This is the only gated community on a lake that allows water fun in the area. We wanted super close to water but not on water as we don’t want to worry constantly about our kids falling in. We wanted a neighborhood that you feel safe with your kids riding bikes.

The house is super comfortable and sits on a healthy amount of land and has no neighbors in back and on one side. The back patio is quiet and private.

What makes this property unique

This community is the only gated community with private access to Rainbow Lake. There is a launch for small boats and another "fishing" dock that you will have access to. There is also a pickle ball court, tennis court, basketball court, and lots of room to run!!
