Our 1500 square foot custom crafted log home can be found in the heart of the mountains of the Pacific Northwest and situated only 170 feet from the Cowlitz River. We are located between Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens and 29 minutes from the powdery ski slopes of White Pass.

Your views of the Tatoosh mountains and Cowlitz River through the enormous windows of the great room are breathtaking. The open floor plan includes kitchen, dining & living room. A gas fireplace stove sits on top of a beautiful river rock hearth in the great room and the gourmet kitchen with it’s river rock island, features granite counter tops, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, & microwave.

The lofted master bedroom features a four-poster queen bed with a sky light directly above. Sweet dreams are sure to come your way! The private bath features an astounding, one-of-a-kind river rock shower with two shower heads!

The lower level bedroom also has an adjacent full bath tub only(no shower). Here you will find a hand crafted copper tub with an oak base. This is the same tub featured in the movie “Maverick.” Check it out!

The couch in the cabin is a hide a bed, great for additional guests.

To name a few, they include custom-designed cabinets and interior/exterior doors, knotty pine ceilings, granite counter tops, wood & slate floors, high quality furniture and hardware, handcrafted wood moldings, custom wood windows with screens, built in computer workstation and library, etc.

As if that were not enough, outside, and just a few feet away from the log house, you will find your own personal outdoor covered log kitchen area, complete with BBQ gas grill, adobe oven & picnic table.

Common areas include the play area for the kids, paths to the river and the garden that guests may pick from during the season.

Whether you want to relax under the stars in the HOT TUB after a day of skiing or hiking, curl up next to the fire with a good book, do some fishing, or throw pebbles in the river, this log home has everything you need for a perfect Pacific Northwest mountain vacation that is right for any season of the year. We look forward to having you as our guests.

Wonderful Experience in Luxury!

We used the cabin as a base for a ski weekend for our daughter who just turned 16. Propane fireplace is awesome to heat majority of the cabin and the hot tub is soooo awesome after some long days on the mountain. Will stay here again I sure

Perfectly relaxing weekend at the Rainier Cabin

This was the perfect property at the perfect time! A beautifully crafted log cabin surrounded by deciduous trees with the flaming red and yellow leaves. The covered hot tub and picnic area with fireplace provided cozy spots to hang out even during the rain. The hosts were easy to reach and I enjoyed chatting when they were at the property tending to the chickens. We will definitely be returning & highly recommend!

Lovely property

This was the perfect property to finish our vacation in. The master bedroom area was huge with the separate dressing area. We loved sitting out on the decking and were visited by three deer. The stars at night were stunning and the short walk down to the river was great. The hot tub was very comfortable. We hope to return!

Visiting Mt Rainier

We had such a great stay at this cabin. We were in the area for the Mt Rainier half-marathon and a visit to Mt Rainier National Park. Great location to get to the east entrance for the Paradise Corridor. The cabin itself was lovely. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful setting. Communication with hosts was easy, their directions to the place were perfect. Our only regret is that our stay wasn’t longer!
