Welcome to your own private oasis in the Southlands area of Vancouver. This beautiful suite includes its own entrance with a patio for morning coffee, a luxurious queen bed with down duvet and crisp linens, a fireplace for cosy evenings, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sink, and dishes, and full bathroom.

Southlands is part of the leafy Kerrisdale neighbourhood of Vancouver. It is like being in the countryside - right in the heart of Vancouver! You can stroll to Southlands Farm to visit the horses or shop at the weekend market, walk along the Fraser River and watch tug boats and and flocks of birds, golf at one of the neighbouring golf courses, or drive/walk/bus into nearby Kerrisdale or Dunbar for all of your shopping needs.

Kerrisdale and Dunbar have excellent grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and local shops. Our home is an 8-minute drive to UBC and a 15-minute drive to downtown. It is a 2-minute walk from the #49 bus, which will take you to UBC. We are a 10-minute walk from the #2 bus, which will take you to downtown via Kitsilano. There are always plenty of car share (Evo and/or Car2Go) vehicles available nearby, as well. You may find it convenient to have a car, which is fine, as there is lots of free on-street parking available.

While the guest suite is completely self-contained, it is also part of our family home. As such, our household quiet hours are 10 PM - 8 AM. This means avoiding phone calls and loud conversation during these hours. We provide wireless TV headphones for evening TV viewing.

We are looking for longer-term rentals, but will consider shorter stays on a case-by-case basis.

Perfect location for us

Clean, modern, well lit property in a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of amenities in the room (fridge, microwave, Jura automatic coffee machine). Easy parking and terrific communication from Bronwen when we had questions. Minutes to any place in Kerrisdale and we had some nice walks in the Southlands as well.

Great space in a quiet neighborood

Very nice, clean and quiet. Bronwen was great to deal with and everything was seamless. Great location if you don't mind being away from downtown and its business and noise. You will need a vehicle or can easily access public transit.

Beautiful suite

Beautiful suite in a relatively new build. Incredibly clean and well kept, in walking distance to the river, stables and bus stops. Owners were great and reached out in advance to check all needs were met, yet left us to our devices while staying there. Would definitely stay again, and again.

Wonderful Visit

This guest suite was perfect for our needs. Very nice space, very comfortable bed. a large walk-in shower, very nice part of town, close to the airport and convenient to just about anywhere in greater Vancouver. We could not have asked for more. In a word: WONDERFUL!
