10/10 would recommend this rental! Super clean and new feeling while still keeping the cabin theme. Great location being between McCall and Donnelly. Barely into the woods you feel secluded and private. Road the last bit is confusing the first time, so read owner's instructions well for directions!
We were impressed from the first steps into the door. Very well stocked with all kitchen items and even more. Very thoughtful and considerate hosts. Easy check-in and check-out process - even though no one wanted to leave. The view from the deck was amazing. Even days later, my grand-kids are STILL asking to go back. Very comfortable beds, all the towels and extras you may want or need. This place can sleep a bunch of people with extra room. No one felt crowded. This is situated away from other cabins and houses, so very quiet and peaceful.
This is a "definitely must visit again" place !!
Thanks Chris - you were an awesome host. Thanks for sharing your place with us!!!
Our family enjoyed our stay and this beautiful cabin.
Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was lacking knives (steak, pairing, etc.), but we found items to use.
The house is well stocked with board games, the corn hole and ping pong were a big hit for our family.
There is no air conditioning, but even in late July it cooled off enough at night to make it comfortable.
Finding the cabin can be tricky, follow the instructions sent to you by the owners. The paved road has big "dips", looks like they will be fixing some culverts. The gravel road is pretty good, however I would suggest an AWD or 4X4 for a winter.
We would rent this home again.
Secluded, newer cabin with nice amentities and a great lot between Donnelly and McCall. Not having AC wasn't an issue. Was very difficult finding the cabin, otherwise a great place to stay. Would rent this property again for a bigger family, didn't have any issues with space.
This is the 2nd time we have rented this property and will continue to do so. Great location and the people are very nice to work with. Huge house with lots of room for everyone. Ping pong is always a favorite as well as the fire pit!
Honestly if you are looking for a place to do a retreat, camp or you just have a big family this is the perfect place has a great location (private and quiet) super clean and has everything set up for you r staying. I’m very pleased with my experience. 5 stars ⭐️
Loved our stay at the cabin. Exactly what we were looking for, rural almost camping setting, while only 10-15 minutes outside of McCall.
There was a bit of miscommunication regarding the gates, and we may have left a gate open that allowed a few dozen head of cattle to get to where they weren't supposed to be. So if the gates are closed, be sure to re-close them.
Also if the roadwork on 55 is still going on during your trip, take Farm to Market Rd North to Boulder Flat Lake, then merge left onto that road and follow it as it turns into Elo, then meets back up with the 55 just a couple minutes outside of McCall.
Definitely would stay here again. Awesome cabin in an awesome location.
Great property. Lots of supplies in the kitchen and laundry. Also lots of outdoor chairs and games. Much appreciated! A bit difficult to find since the road goes through private property and very close to the private home there. But a very good experience!
We were a little worried due to the heat since this property has no AC, but despite the 90-degree temps during the day, the cabin was never uncomfortable and cooled down beautifully at night. The outdoor deck is fabulous and there is plenty for everyone to do. It's very secluded and quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay again.
This cabin is extremely clean and roomy. It’s centrally located with Lake Payette only 10 miles away. The hosts were helpful and responded quickly if we needed anything!
Great place for a family and friends. Everyone enjoyed it and had plenty of room to spread out. We were there during a heat wave so the lack of A/C was noticeable especially on the 2nd floor. Definitely recommend it for larger groups that want to be a fair distance from the crowds and people.
This place was perfect for my mom’s 70th birthday party. It had plenty of room for us all and the hosts were super accommodating! The house was secluded and quiet. It was exactly what we were looking for.
Cabin was perfect for our family of six. Was about 20-30 minutes away from most stuff we were doing. There is a ton to do in McCall and we spent a lot of time at the cabin as well.
Property is a few miles from town, but easy to find and close to many activities. Fully furnished and plenty of room for others. Private location and quiet neighbors. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a gorgeous home on a beautiful piece of land! Stunning views, a lot of privacy. Perfect distance from McCall to make you feel like you have the secluded cabin feel but still close enough that a trip to town was less than 20 minutes. Has everything you would ever want for a weekend getaway or a group retreat. Plenty of beds, and places to sit. There were 3 full bathrooms which was perfect for our larger group, never felt crowded. Chris & Lori made everything a breeze from start to finish. Thank you guys a ton for an unforgettable weekend to the McCall area!
This property was beautiful! A perfect little hide away nestled in the mountains. Home was clean and a perfect size and layout for our two families. Beautiful views, well stocked and lots to do.
My only note would be a few little house items in need of attention, such as toilet in the master doesn’t flush everytime, but there are details on how you can fix it in their Instruction guide/handbook which was helpful.
Also the drive up is all small dirt road, through a working ranch- so be prepared if you are traveling during inclement weather.
There is no a/c, which isn’t an issue as long as you are prepared for a warmer night in the summertime. We opened windows at night and it was cooled down within a few hours after sunset. Everything else was as pictured- home is well taken care of. My family and I had a wonderful time and would stay again!
Loved the remote location. House was beautiful & loved the outdoor area. My kids thought the upstairs was so much fun. It was exactly what we were looking for!
