Creekside Cabin - Minutes from Deadwood/Lead/Spearfish!

Situated beautifully in the Black Hills, this creekside retreat is the perfect place to sit back and relax. Take in the lush landscape of the Black Hills, while enjoying the large deck, fire pit, and hot tub.
The cabin has two bedrooms with queen beds, two living areas with their own fireplace (one wood, one gas), couches and comfy recliners.
False Bottom Creek is just a few feet from the front door; you can open a window and hear the sounds of the stream. From inside, you can view the beautiful forest that surrounds the cabin, filled with wild flowers, thimble berries and wildlife.
If you decide to leave the cabin, Deadwood, Lead, or Spearfish are less than 10 miles away and you’re only 20 minutes from Terry Peak, hiking/riding trails and Spearfish Canyon.
Feel free to use the wood burning fireplace. A fee of $25 will be taken from your security deposit to cover wood and the cleaning of the fireplace. There is parking for 3-4 vehicles, but the driveway is steep, so be careful. Located 3.1 miles from pavement. There is limited to no cell service in cabin, WiFi and landline only.

Quiet and peaceful

Peaceful and absolutely beautiful w the snow. Hot tub was fantastic w view of the stars. Our host thought of everything we might need! Fully stocked w games, blankets, etc. Only thing i might recommend is lighted walk way to the hot tub.

A week in paradise

I have nothing bad to say about this place… after a day of sightseeing it so nice to come back to the cabin and relax, whether it’s a soaking in the hot tub or by the camp fire… this is our 2nd trip and my girls are planning our next trip and yes they want to stay here again… For me the sign in the cabin says it all, “If you’re lucky enough to live in the mountains, You’re lucky enough.” Thank you Levi for having you cabin available…

Beautiful scenery

This spot was perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. We slept with the windows open and enjoyed the sound of the river nearby and the wind in the trees. One more a doe and fawn were spotted in the brush coming down the hill. Everything was as described. It does take a while to get there on an unpaved but the road was well maintained. Even after a rain, we had no problem riding our motorcycles on it.

Was located in such a peaceful and beautiful place..The only negative situations was when we arrived the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes yet and the grill was very dirty!! Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful Cabin

What a great vacation rental! This place is a dream! The cabin is easy to find and has a ton of space. An outdoor eating area would be nice, but otherwise this place is a great place to unwind in a fairly secluded area in Black Hills National Forest.

The property was quiet, relaxing and perfect location. At night we heard mice chewing and scratching which caused some anxiety. We did not see any mice in the house but heard them under the house.

Loved the setting of the property. Enjoyed seeing wildlife. Outdoor amenities offered were great for fall! Had it been warm temperatures, we would have suffered. Description says it is air conditioned. There is one stand alone unit in one bedroom that didn’t look like it worked. Guests pay a cleaning fee so we expected a clean facility. Dust on light bulbs in bathroom - dead bugs in corner of a living room on carpet by floor lamp, etc. Could never figure out how to use television in bedroom. Would be helpful to have printed instructions. Property was quiet . Enjoyed the rustling of the fall leaves and sound of small creek. Convenient location for our itinerary, major Highway and restaurants. Host was very prompt in responding to our one call of concern.

Nice little place for a quiet getaway.

We love the black hills and this was a nice place to come back to and rest. The hot tub and gas fireplace were very comforting. We also enjoyed the assortment of board games.

Creekside Canyon Retreat

Awesome private retreat. Quiet creekside. Self sustaining cabin. Extensive DVD library if wanted. Nice hot tub under the stars. Nicely stocked kitchen (dishes/pans/etc).

Amazing stay

This is the perfect place if you are looking to unplug for a while! As a person that is normally on call, it was amazing to be completely unavailable by cell phone! The nights were perfect with very little light pollution. Absolutely loved it and will rent again!!
