Enjoy the gorgeous million dollar views of the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony, den and kitchen of this lovely
sixth floor condo at Sterling Sands in the heart of Destin. There are only a few things in life more relaxing than watching the tide come in and roll out. Beach service included!

This 6th floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom floor plan offers a fantastic bedding arrangement, with a queen in the primary bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Guest room has a double bed. This spacious 864 square foot unit comfortably sleeps 4 people. The updated kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops is sure to please everyone from the gourmet cook to those that will only spend enough time in the kitchen to prepare a quick lunch.

WIFI and Premium Cable Channels Included within Condo. Beach service included until the end of October

Sterling beach

The view is spectacular, the condo is bright and clean and the beach is beautiful. This location is close to so many wonderful places, including the Back Porch and Harbor Walk. Every morning I enjoyed coffee on the balcony overlooking the Gulf. A minor issue is the couch and 2nd bedroom bed which sag a lot. But for us we would return here.

Overall pretty decent stay

Didn’t find out about the extra charges for wristbands till I got there to check in. The living space appears to be much larger in pictures provided online due to all the mirrors. But overall good stay. Great location!

It was wonderful staying steps from the beach! The towels were so new they left fuzz on our newly bronzed skin and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback was the checkout, some communication instructed us to leave the sheets in place while others wanted us to place them in the washer.

Great vacation rental!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo! Very clean and fully stocked with kitchen utensils and pots/pans for cooking. There is a Keurig, which was not listed in the description. And also a regular coffee maker. There is a washer/dryer in the condo, also not listed in the description. Plenty of bath towels stocked for use. Couch has several stains on it and should be replaced. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Conveniently located near stores and restaurants. Balcony view of the ocean is phenomenal! Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely book here again.

Nice short stay…

My sister and a friend joined me. The location was nice because we were close to everything- especially The Back Porch. Positives about the property: location, cleanliness, view! Negative, lack of extra bed linens (no sheets for pullout) , temperature of pool was ridiculously warm, lots of rules with constant reminders… we were paranoid about doing something wrong.

Destin vacation

Beautiful beach. Love heated pool. Condo could use a touch up painting . Needs a Deep clean. Couch had stains . Needs cleaned or replaced. Mattress in second room not comfortable, very squeaky . Condo does have a Keurig coffee maker. When asked , told no. Kitchen utensils / dishes low supply. Love the washer / dryer. Beautiful view! Appreciated the chairs and umbrella was included with rental.

Great Family Vacation

We had a great and relaxing time during our stay. The view is amazing, the outdoor pool was warm. The condo has everything we needed. The only thing is that we did not know we would have to pay for parking. We were just told to check in to pick up our parking pass. So that was a little shock. Other than that we had a great time.

Great spot

We loved everything about the location! Right on the beach! Master bed was great the bottom bunk was super noisy which was difficult with little kids but not a big issue. The only suggestion is to put a lock from the inside of the unit so little kids can’t run out. We had to put a door in front of the door while sleeping because there was no lock. Other than that we loved everything about it.

Just perfect

We are so grateful that we got to experience the calm relaxation of staying in this lovely unit, right on the Gulf. It was so amazing each day to look at that view. The property is well maintained, clean, and secure and as for the unit? It was better than expected- it was impeccably clean and so comfortable for our family. I have never stayed in a VRBO that was cleaner. Everything was fresh and clean and the towels were fluffy and perfect! Note to future guests at the property: if your reserved chairs aren’t out at the beach during the appropriate hours, just ask the workers on-site and they will make sure it is taken care of. A perfect, relaxing, quiet stay.

Nice beach front condo

Overall very good stay. A lot of my critiques are of the property as a whole which the host/owner cannot control. Loved being right on the beach. The included beach service was awesome. The bedrooms are at the front of the condo, so the lights from outside shine right in. Make sure to bring eye masks if you are like me and have a hard time staying asleep if it’s light out. Condo has a mildew like smell however that may be a common issue for properties so close to water. Make sure to wash and dry your laundry the night before. The dryer takes a few cycles to dry everything completely. The kitchen was well stocked and had nice appliances

Ocean view vs Road Noise

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location, thoroughly cleaned and well equipped condo. If u r bothered with road noise, then this is not a great place to stay as both the bedrooms receive heavy road noise early morning till late night. Beautiful and uninterrupted views of the beach and convenient to major restaurants and hangouts. Overall a decent place to stay unless you are not bothered by traffic noise when you are sleeping.

Spring Break Family Vacation

Reviewer Comments: The rental had a beautiful view to the beach, and very nice kitchen, However one of the restrooms had an issue with the toilet and it overflowed, and the tub in the same restroom would fill up during showers. The end room was very small and uncomfortable. The floors were very dirty all through the condo. 😕

It was okay

The check-in for this condo was complicated. You have to register online before checking in. When we got there to check in after driving 10 hours, the office to check-in was closed. They leave for lunch late afternoon. So we had to set in the car and wait for them to return. The unit was overall nice. The only problem I had was the number of towel and wash clothes we had for a 2 bedroom unit. When we arrived we had only 2 or 3 wash clothes and a few towels in one bathroom for a 5 night stay for 2 people. I requested more and they brought more. This unit did not have a chain safety lock at top like all condos and hotels do. The only lock on it was a punch button combination lock which means anyone could access the unit at night with the code if wanted. There is no restaurant or cafe to get any food here. No tiki hut outside to get food or beverages like other condos in the area.

5 STAR LOCATION!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in the perfect location, clean and had the basic necessities. It would have been nice for more hooks to hang things up to keep it less cluttered, and some additional basics like dish soap and some hand towels, but we made do. The condo was nice and quiet, everyone was friendly and helpful. We rented bikes to get around during our stay from Bikes R Us and HIGHLY recommend them! She delivered the bikes and even picked us up the day before our last day because we got stuck in a rainstorm. The beach service at the condo was great and we appreciated the umbrella.We had one issue after checking out. We were charged for damaged linens - that we did NOT damage. They realized the mistake, a different room should have been charged and I did receive a credit but the manager I spoke to on the phone wasn't very nice and needed to learn better communication skills. It was cleared up which I appreciated, but it did dampen our spirits a little. We will stay again though. Loved the unit and the location.

Great views & location…did not like condo

We reserved this condo back in November and I had emailed the owners asking about the balcony furniture since there was none in the pictures. They responded that there would be furniture there by the time we got there in April for our vacay. I emailed them again a few weeks prior to the trip & asked about the furniture and they responded that yes, there was furniture. We arrived at the condo and when we walked in it was a huge disappointment. Walls were scuffed & marked up, no wall decorations/fun vibes anywhere in the long entryway/condo. Went on the balcony and the furniture consisted of 4 slingback cheap chairs and 2 of them had filthy molded thin cushions on them. There was a tiny wooden table that was gross and I covered with a beach towel. I emailed them and asked about it & they said there had been a delay in the ordering but reminded them that they told me there was furniture and I never heard back. The condo had zero rugs in the kitchen or bathrooms which is not pleasant to the feet…had to wear socks all the time because of sand and moisture on the floors. The kitchen had no Tupperware/storage containers…very sparse on utensils & no platters or serving plates. The 2nd bedroom with the bunk beds has no closet, no dresser, no storage for anything & didn’t even posses a TV in the room. We had two 16 year old boys with us so that didn’t go over very well. This was the most we had ever spent on a condo for our spring break vacay and it was not close to the standards of what we’ve had in the past. Would not recommend this condo. Only saving grace was the location & the views & the owners had nothing to do with that.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Sterling Sands 604 was a pleasant experience. The condo was consistent with the description provided on the booking website. Its location offered convenient access to shopping, entertainment, restaurants and of course the beach. The property was well-maintained, and the security guard was courteous and professional.However, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. Firstly, the sofa in the living room should be replaced immediately. The cushions lack support in the middle and sag when sat upon. Secondly, the primary bedroom is not equipped with a smart TV. Lastly, there is no TV in the second bedroom.But overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
