1015 sterling shores

Loved the view, the pools. The guest bath shower never had hot water. And the airplanes flying into Destin executive airport across the street were kinda annoying. The west elevator didn’t work almost entire week. Don’t like beaches that are roped off for properties and no beach access to leave. Destin is beautiful if you like to drive every where. Wasn’t a fan so would never come back.

No Latch Lock

we enjoyed our stay with beautiful views. With three kids, we really wish the latch lock was working but it was broken. Also wished there was more than 2 plastic bowels for the kids. there were a bunch of sheets and a blow up mattress, but an additional blanket would have done wonders.

Great place to stay!

Condo was immaculately clean. Two pools and really enjoyed exercising in larger one. Have bad knees so although beach area was fairly close, just crossing one street, made it difficult for me. This wouldnt be a problem for most people. Also housekeeping should take out trash and remove linens as we pay for these services. Nice, very clean and well maintained place. Beds and couches were comfortable.

Loved it

This was our first time to Destin. We are a family of 5 with 3 littles. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or place to stay. The pool water was a little too cold for the kids this early, but they still loved it. The condo itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and had soft linens. We would definitely book again!

Basic

This place has gorgeous views but almost no additional amenities. Beach chair rental is very expensive and no chairs provided in unit. Only 1 dishwasher soap provided, same for laundry and bath supplies. If your looking for a bare bones rental the view is great and the place is clean.

Comfy Stay

Over all, we were pleased with everything. Beautiful views and close to everything! While we were provided with all of the codes, we had to call for the room number and floor, so it would have been nice for it to have been provided before arrival. Make sure to bring your own salt, pepper, and coffee if needed, as there aren’t any available. (Most places provide the basics like salt/pepper and a couple of K-Cups) The throw cover wasn’t washed which had a smell to it, but other than that it was a comfy stay.

Disappointed

Sterling Shores was an awesome place but 1015 not so much. I paid for 5 people to be able to sleep in actual beds and NOT on a sofa bed as I have never slept on a comfortable sofa bed. When we arrived we noticed the bunk beds that should of slept 3 of the 5 of us was not safe to sleep in at all. The bed rocked back and forth just sitting on it. I was told nothing was going to be done about it until after our check out day. Very disappointed that we paid for 5 beds but only actually received 2. Will not stay in 1015 again if we return.

In general, the condo was clean, but the rugs in bedroom and hallway were dirty and need to be replaced/removed Condo was extremely small and lacked space to reasonably open/close luggage for a family of 5 Upper bunkbed was unstable so we didn't use it Foil in the bedroom window to prevent onlookers from peering into the room b/c the blinds were broken was indeed a NICE touch Newer/nice kitchen appliances Bathrooms in SEVERE need of UPDATES and painting

Great view! Kids loved the bunkbeds!

The views were incredible at this location! The pool wasn't heated and the telescope wasn't in the condo as advertised, but otherwise, the place was clean enough and very family friendly! Drawer liners were a bit gross, but we just cleaned utensils before using them. Fridge and appliances looked new. Super nice to have a washer / dryer, coffee maker, blender, and icemaker all available for private use! Very limited cable - would have been nice to have the option to even link our own amazon prime and disney plus accounts to pull up but the TVs didn't have that capability.

Sterling Shores 1015

This unit was clean and had a great view from the balcony. We had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. The only downfall was that our pool was closed for our entire stay, and we had no prior notice of this. Not the owner's fault, but still sucked! I would stay here again!

Nice location. Great view of the water. Nice grounds and pool. Condo was ok overall. Furniture is a bit dated. The couch was terribly uncomfortable and beat up. Kitchen table is unstable. Place can use updates and remodeling.

Great vacation rental !!

Location, cleanliness, amenities. Glad the couch was a pull out bed. The description didn’t mention that. Worked better for family. Definitely a place we will go back to. Had problems figuring out the hot water. Front desk called and asked if all was good, when I explained the issue to them, someone was up within the hour. There was no problem with the water or heater, my kids were just doing it backwards :). I was happy with their promptness. Excellent place to stay for sure!
