HOLIDAYS IN CEVENNES

Apartment redone large and openwork in village house on the top floor with private entrance. South-facing terrace with a beautiful view of the Col de l'Asclier, two large bedrooms with views of the Cevennes and Mont Lozère, one with a 140 bed and a BZ for 2 people, and the other with a bed in 140. Cot available. Washing machine and dishwasher, dining room with T.V. Wifi connection available.
The toilets are separate from the bathroom.

Possibility of garage for bikes and motorbikes.

Possibility to rent sheets and towels at an additional cost.

A security deposit of 200 euros will be requested on the day of delivery of the keys and returned on the day of departure if everything is ok.


Village located on the Cévennes ledge. Swimming 10 minutes in the Gardons, hiking trails from the village and in the valley, and many walks in the vicinity of the Tarn gorges, discovery of caves ... Aven Armand, Dargilan on the side of Mont Aigoual, and the Trabuc cave as well as the Bambouseraie and the Desert museum on the Anduze side.

At 6km, in the village of Sainte Croix Vallée Française, you will find various shops (bakery, grocery store, butcher shop ....) bar restaurant as well as a doctor with pharmacy.

Local farmers market on Wednesday morning and every Tuesday large market in Saint Jean de Gard (about 16km) and in the evening on Thursday evenings.
In the village passage du poissonnier on Wednesday, the butcher on Friday, and the baker on Thursday.
Once a week, visit a fruit and vegetable merchant.

Tennis and pétanque court available in the village.

The stays are from Saturday to Saturday (arrival from 4 p.m., departure no later than 10 a.m.).

Très chouette séjour !

Un grand merci à Christine et Jean pour leur accueil chaleureux, nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Un gîte où il ne manque rien. Aire de jeux avec point d'eau très appréciés des enfants au pied du gîte et en bonus une tyrolienne à Ste Croix. Nombreux chouettes coins pour aller se baigner dans la rivière. Nous conseillons la randonnée de St Roman qui part du gîte (6km à l'ombre des châtaigniers), le restaurant de l'Oultre à Ste Croix et une petite visite aux chèvres de Patrick Carly en direction de St Etienne (sa tomme de chèvre se marie parfaitement à la fabuleuse confiture de fraises de Christine). Merci également pour les tomates du jardin et merci aussi à Magalie et tous les organisateurs du fameux ''Pentathlon de la corniche'' où notre garçon s'est bien amusé. Privilégiez le matin tôt pour la visite de la Bambouseraie d'Anduze. Bonne continuation ! :+)

Agréable séjour dans les Cévennes. L'appartement est conforme au descriptif avec un très bon accueil des hôtes (présents au village, et toujours disponibles).

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Saint Roman de Tousque, magnifique village des Cévennes, aux habitants si sympathiques. Belles balades à faire, rivière à Moissac à 10 mn du gîte, vue imprenable pour le petit déjeuner, de la terrasse, le gîte est spacieux et très agréable. Jean et Marie-Christine sont très accueillants, merci pour les légumes du jardin et la confiture de prunes!

Nature et histoire

Séjour ressourçant dans un appartement à la décoration ancienne qui lui donne une âme et doté de tout le confort nécessaire. Très bon accueil des hôtes ( la confiture de prunes était délicieuse). Village qui semble intemporel avec une histoire très riche. Cerise sur le gâteau: à 2 pas, un restaurant à la cuisine généreuse , bonne et authentique.

Nous avons passe un tres agreable sejour. La location est tres fonctionnelle. Rien ne manque. La terrasse est vraiment agreable et dispose d une superbe vue sur les montagnes. Quand a Jean et Christine les proprietaires, ils sont charmants et tres accueillants.
