About this property

Rainforest Vibes by Olympic Coast Rentals

Come create lasting memories of the Olympic Coast at Rainforest Vibes. This 2-bed 1-bath single-level duplex is the perfect getaway for those looking to explore the Olympic Peninsula! We feature an ideal location just east of the City of Forks, close to beaches, with WiFi, washer and dryer, & two smart TVs! Our aim is to provide everything you’ll need to create a home away from home!

Spend your days discovering the natural beauty of the area before heading back to Rainforest Vibes. With over 900 sq ft, you’ll have plenty of room to move about without losing that quaint, cozy atmosphere when its time to cuddle up on the couch. The duplex shares the garage and pantry/kitchen wall so there are less noise concerns while sleeping soundly on the other end of the house. It is located on a family-friendly loop community and just a short walk away is an idyllic trail that borders Elk Creek.

Prepare family meals in the full kitchen or grill outside on the gas BBQ (propane tank level not monitored so let us know if it is getting low) and sit down for dinner at the large dining table with space for 4. The well equipped kitchen features a full suite of appliances including a drip coffee pot and electric kettle. When it's time to turn in, you've got two bedrooms to choose from, each with king beds. Closets have shelving and hangers. The bathroom features a tub/shower combo. In the garage (which is also used for owner storage) you will find a washing machine and dryer.

We try and stock the house with all the basics including bedding, towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toilet paper, hair dryer, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, Ziplocs, garbage bags, Folgers coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, hot cocoa, and oatmeal. The house also has some games, children toys, and a pack n play.

You will be renting the whole right side of duplex and yard (no fence so no delineation with other side of duplex). Interior garage access for washer and dryer only, the owner uses rest of space for storage.

Limited cell phone coverage at the house, but wireless Internet is provided (turn on wifi calling). We are happy to have Starlink Satellite Internet with speeds up to 150 mbps.

This is a pet-free, smoke-free home.

Some nearby attractions are:
• Hoh Rain Forest (55 min to visitor center)
• Scenic beaches (closest are near La Push (First, Second & Third Beach and Rialto Beach – 28 min)
• Hiking trails (so many to choose from closest is 5 min walk to trailhead – Elk Creek Conservation Trail)

Great place to stay when exploring the Olympic Peninsula

This is a perfect locale for exploring all of the Olympic National Park and Olympic Peninsula...central to everything, close to lots of services in Forks, yet located in a very quiet neighborhood. Couldn't be happier. If you want to see the Park and the Peninsula, consider this place.

Great location, quiet

The location is great. Easy to get to beaches and to the rain forest trails. We did not hear neighbors at all. The house had everything we needed. Eggs in the fridge were a nice touch. Thanks for letting us stay!

Very clean, that’s the good

Clean and a family place, not a second rental. Iffy neighborhood, outdoor yard was uncomfortable with the close proximity of the duplex living space. Nearest neighbors are families with kids, lots of outdoor playtime.., which is what kids do. The neighbors dog barking incessantly from 9pm to 2-3am was the killer issue for this place,

Well organized, well equipped house

Comfortable, spacious, well located. Especially enjoyed the king size bed. Many nice kitchen touches, eggs in the fridge, basic supplies, so you don’t have to buy a full container of salt, sugar, or oil if you stay only for a week. Great to have a w/d. A few touches would make it perfect, new shower head, current one barely emits water, and dressers in the bedrooms, so you don’t have to “live out of your suitcase”. Still, it is a good place, would recommend it.

Quiet Hideaway close to hiking

This nice sized duplex was clean and uncluttered. Kitchen well supplied, even a gift of a dozen local eggs in the 'fridge! More than adequate supply of towels. There is a huge backyard, if you have children. I was thrilled to discover the Elk Creek Conservation Area trail a 5 minute walk away! The neighbors were so nice. We were invited to come pick cherries from the neighbor's heavily laden tree, which were delicious. Ravae is very responsive, I am sorry we didn't have the opportunity to meet, which is one way of saying nothing was in need of attention! I hope to come back again soon.

Very Quiet and convenient.

This is a duplex home. However, other than seeing a car next to ours, we never saw or heard the neighbors. Compared to other convention goers who stayed in-town, I felt really lucky to be here in a quiet neighborhood. It's got a little backyard almost butted up against the foothills. There's 2 large smart Tv's, great water pressure, full kitchen, comfortable beds, clean cotton sheets, fluffy white towels and the washer/dryer was handy! Enjoyed listening to the birds and the wind. Close to town, but far enough away to obtain peace and quiet! Oh yes! By chance, we witnessed 25-30 wild Elk wander out from the wood line into a field, at a nearby farm. Very nice, relaxing stay.

Great Olympic Peninsula Base

Great house in a quiet neighborhood in Forks. Location is perfect for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. The house is clean and comfortable. Beds are great. We enjoyed the BBQ in the back and the large TV in the living room. Good quality wifi and internet is a plus. Can get a bit warm during the day but there are ceiling fans in every room. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Family house for Olympic exploration

Amazing house for our family of four to explore the Olympic peninsula. Easy to find location in forks and a nice neighborhood. Both bedrooms with king beds was gray and the beds were super comfortable. The house and grounds were well kept and it was the best stocked kitchen we’ve had in a Vrbo with spices and oils and a dozen free eggs! We will recommend the house to anyone we know headed to Forks.

Excellent VRBO experience

While Forks is struggling with supply issues that made it hard to experience the local restaurants and limited what we could get to eat at “home”, it was still a wonderful stay! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all of the things you wouldn’t want to buy for just a few nights’ stay. The ability to do laundry was great. The eggs left for us was a nice touch and were delicious. Check-in/our process and communications were efficient and pleasant. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone wanting to explore the Olympic Peninsula.

Love the place and it is right behind a great hiking trail.

Me and my 3 children stayed here for an entire week and we couldn’t have been more pleased. It had everything we needed and then some. The only thing we had an issue with was the keypad that locks the door. It took a few times to get in every day we locked it, but wasn’t a big deal. Would stay here again.

Olympic National Park

This was a wonderful home base for our vacation. The beds were super comfortable to sleep in and there was plenty of space for cooking and eating for our family of four. Utilities and TV's worked great. The outside may not look impressive compared to what we are used to in a metripolitan area, but that is fine. This place has it where it counts!

Much better than pictures

Both inside and out this is a very nice place to stay. Good kitchen, good shower, good internet, very comfortable furniture and somehow much more spacious and pleasant than the pictures appeared to me. Communications were excellent and they provide a "Guest Book" which is very helpful. If you are visiting the northwest side of the Olympic peninsula this is an excellent choice.

Great Family Visit

We had a nice stay at this property in the small town of Forks. Great location as we were visiting various parts of the western Olympic National Park. House came as advertised with all the amenities we needed. Our 15 month old son was particularly excited about the large living room space to play in and the views of the dogs playing outside in the neighbors backyard! Bonus that there was a pack n play size mattress we could use for him too. Hosts gave us all the info we needed and made our stay easy going.
