Perch yourself right over the shoreline of Lake Superior in the quaint town of Tofte, just down the road from Lutsen (Lutsen Ski Resort and Superior National Golf Course, Gitchee-Gami State Bike Trail) and a short drive to Grand Marais. Known for its unique geology, rugged and rustic terrain in conjunction with today's desired modern amenities, you'll surely be happy you chose to stay at Hygge! Two main floor bedrooms and bathrooms in addition to a fun loft with twin beds and a bathroom, a gas fireplace and outside space/decks to really enjoy what the lake has to offer.

In consideration of other guests/owners, Gull Harbor has a no smoking policy except for in the parking lot area. This includes no smoking on the decks/balconies of the condo itself as the smoke drifts toward and into other condos.

Beautiful spot on Lake Superior

We had a wonderful stay here over winter break. We went snowboarding and skiing at Lutsen Mountains which was less than 10 minutes down the road. The condo was perfect for my family. Plenty of beds, space and bathrooms. We even visited the beach during our stay. Watching the sunrise over the lake was stunning.

Fall 2024 Trip

Having stayed in many different places the last 10 years on our annual trip to the north shore, our stay at Gull Harbor was amazing. The view of the lake and the condo were just perfect!

Fantastic view!

Everything about the property was just as it looked in the listing. Being right on the water was amazing! You can see both the sun and moon rise and hear the waves lapping the shore! We had all that we needed in the unit and it was well kept up! Would definitely stay here again!

Up North Annual Gathering 2024

DREAM VACATION

The ultimate with the best possible views with the most variables of beach, jutting rocks with orange lichen, fishing pink salmon right on beach, fire pit, all rooms having private decks, plus super cozy with fireplace inside, and 3 complete bathrooms! How much more could one dream of?

A little slice of heaven!

LOVED the abundant windows and balconies from which to view the sunrises and sunsets! Our 5 year-old LOVED his own private loft as well as the super-secluded harbor and rocks to explore. Nothing beats being this close to the lake and hearing the lapping of the waves on the shore! We called it Nature’s Sound Machine. Very relaxing for sleeping! Can’t wait to return to 1010 Gull Harbor! 💕

Great stay @ Hygge of Gull Harbor

We stayed 30 days Aug-Sep 2024. We live in TX and visit the North Shore for the cooler summer weather. That said, everything about the condo was better than advertised on VRBO's website. The host was very responsive to all questions thru booking and stay. Every thing about our stay was even better than the cool weather. We will return!

Lovely stay

Beautiful views. Plenty of room for the six of us adults. We had some difficulty finding the place as signs are obscured by tall weeds and no identifiable number on the unit we stayed in. Overall, very happy with place and would return.

Great experience

We had a great experience with this property. We found this listing to be very accurate, the communication was thorough and prompt, and the property itself was well organized and stocked with everything we needed with the exception of grilling tools. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again. One small note for those with younger children- the spiral stairs to the loft are a little precarious and the railings/balusters on both indoor and outdoor balconies were quite wide which means smaller children do need a bit more constant supervision for safety.

Snowboarding weekend

Came up for the weekend to celebrate my significant others birthday. The location was excellent, as part of our trip was two days at Lutsen mountain and view was amazing! The condo was cozy. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location for us to spend time together before skiing. The accommodations were excellent!

Everything was excellent. Easy access to the property, very clear instructions on checking in and checking out and the layout was great for the families. The kids, especially loved the spiral staircase.

Perfect Getaway

We loved our stay Gull Harbor! The space was just right for our family of 5. The hosts provided games, books, puzzles, plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, etc. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. Also, the property manager was super responsive to any questions we had. Then there’s the location - it was amazing! We woke up to the beautiful lake each morning and got breakfast at Coho Cafe down the road. We definitely want to return!
