Not Impressed
The interior was modern and well furnished but the kitchen was poorly stocked with equipment. Location was good but no access to beach.
All the windows and deck area were marred by encrusted dead flies, cobwebs and spiders which impeded what could have been a lovely view. The host was phoned and a complaint was made. We were told that the area had been pressure washed four days prior. Definitely not. An email was sent to the host along with pictures of the area on our second day (11th September). As of our departure today, no reply from host.
Our impression was very good …very clean, fabulous views, lovely living space.
Quite warm and humid during our stay in July in two main floor bedrooms as the AC and air flow (from two lovely main area ceiling fans) did not reach these bedrooms. Upstairs was more comfortable at night as the windows open at night allows air to flow nicely thru space. Loved the loft area for yoga and relaxation. BBQ, Deck and deck furniture were ideal for enjoying the north water views with shade and cooling breeze. Kitchen could use bbq utensils, more simple lunch plates and plastic cups, utensils. Thank you for the lovely vacation spot and responsive great service Jessica !

Excellent location
Property is in an excellent location with fantastic views of the cove. You are very close to the best Stanhope and Brackley have to offer. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.
The property is managed by a third party real estate agent, and it shows. The third bedroom had a bed that was falling apart, which was an issue with children trying to sleep there. We had to fix one of the stools as soon as we got there after finding screws on the ground. The deck area, windows and general outside area needs a thorough cleaning and a facelift. Our toddler found an open box of screws that had been left beside the front steps. The kitchen was not well stocked with basics which made cooking difficult.
For the price we expect better.
Our family was on the Island for five nights for a family event and we wanted a home that would accommodate the four adults comfortably and be a good base for our day activities. The home is gorgeous and exactly like the pictures except for the new beautiful floors. We saw an Osprey fishing and a red fox wandering through the yard one morning. Great place to do a 5km walk from. Extremely quiet and private. Perfect for daughter who had done studying to do while we were there. Short drive to North Rustico and host of great restaurants there and very much enjoyed Richard’s takeout on our last evening. Minutes from the beautiful sand dunes at the National Park. Bring your own shampoo etc. Both daughters asked to return again!

Nice But....
There were mouse droppings inside the house and there were spiders on the windows and deck and front porch. When we contacted the manager, he was uninterested and unconcerned. He did nothing to alleviate the problem. The mattresses in the lower bedroom were very hard and uncomfortable. There was no hose to wash the deck and there were no adirondack chairs.
We spent 6 days for a family vacation (3 generations). Lovely home and close to beaches, shops, golf etc. Overall a very good experience. The only issue to know if that there are limited supplies for everyday cooking and few amenities (bring your own body wash, shampoo etc.). Property manager was very responsive to inquiries.
