Come enjoy my newly remodeled tropical island studio on Kauai's lovely north shore. Your perfect day starts with breakfast on the sunny and private East side lanai. Next, grab the beach toys, pack a cooler and roll down to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Come home and take a nap in the cool AC and then go down the street to Watch the sun set over Bali hai view. Top the evening off with a barbecue by the pool-side and a mai tai. There’s also always night time fun at places like Tiki Iniki or the famous Tahiti Nui down the hill in Hanalei.
The tiled bathroom feels like a jungle spa -for those who like the idea of jungle camping but want to be sheltered and pampered.
As the evening cools down you make yourself comfortable on the king size bed situated to watch your choice of entertainment on the the flatscreen smart TV under the ceiling fan. Or maybe you'd like to sit out under the party lights on the private living room-like and enjoy the breeze from the ceiling fan.
The modern kitchenette that includes all the basics you'll need for prepping small meals, and you always have the choice of numerous wonderful restaurants within a mile. You'll find a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards and pool noodles on the lanai for your use, and even my hand-drawn map for special place to hike to right from your unit.
The North Shore of Kauai is unparalleled in it's beauty and my little 'piece of paradise' will make your stay just right! Tranquil, relaxing and comfortable. I promise you'll LOVE it!
I also pride myself in helping to customize trips to hike on my favorite trail in the world; the Kalalau. Let me know your itinerary and I may be able to arrange shuttles to the trail head, store your luggage, or even give you trekking poles to borrow.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, comfortable, conveniently located for what we wanted to do and all communication was responsive. The kitchenette was just big enough to allow us to cook some meals in and we appreciated the cooler and beach chairs for our excursions. Kimberlee is honestly the best host! She is so personable and is there if you ever need anything! The place? Absolutely gorgeous! A beautifully remodeled and aesthetic place with AC, a full size fridge, a table and seating, nice kitchen and any appliances you need. Also, the thing that surprised me the most when both my fiancé and I walked in the door was the GORGEOUS large patio! Decorated with string lights, a little table and 2 chairs to have a nice meal and enjoy the outdoors, comfy seating, and overall amazing vibes. Kimberlee also provides a few extra things for you adventures in Princeville and beyond. She provides snorkels and flippers, beach chairs, boogie boards, and more. Not only that, she is prepared for the small situations as well. She provides umbrellas and ponchos (it was POURING rain on our last day and those definitely came in handy!), guide books, first aid kit, etc. 10/10 recommend this place! My fiancé and I plan to come back to Kauai for our honeymoon and will definitely be staying with Kimberlee here again :)

We absolutely love this place! We just came in January and can’t wait to go back again. Kimberlee is an incredible host. She is so sweet and he’s very communicative. The condo has everything you need here! It’s so nice to not have to pack all of the beach stuff, umbrellas etc. The unit is very clean with nice decor. We loved being able to sit on the shaded balcony with plants all around. The area is superb! Very quiet and Very classy neighborhood . We love the North Shore. 10 ranking Thank you so much! This was the perfect place for us to stay for four nights during our North Shore adventure on Kaua'i, as first-time visitors and honeymooners. The studio was clean and serene. We looked forward to relaxing on the lanai for leisurely mornings and breezy evenings. The property is well-appointed for beach excursions and located in a great location close to groceries at Foodland, within walking distance to Queen's Bath, and a short drive to Hanalei Bay and the surrounding shoreline. Kimberlee was easy to communicate with and listed some solid recommendations in the property guide. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Kimberlee the hostest,could not of been kinder or more helpful. ..I found her to be genuine and very caring.. ..I stayed for 2 weeks in this little bungalow with my grandson and it was ideal !! We hiked in the daytime and then came back to the pool. Swimming & hot tub combo was terrific.... I loved it ! It had all the basics we needed, and even a little porch to eat on and feel the breeze...great location..great hostest..There wasn't a downside !

What we enjoyed most was the large lanai that we used as a living and dining room. In addition, everything you need for the beach is available. But the icing on the cake was our hostess Kimberlee. Great place in Princeville!

I stayed at this property solo for a few days. It was exactly as described and extremely well appointed and clean. The sun porch was nice to hang out on. I went to the pool a couple of times and it was well kept and not crowded. I would stay again and recommend it for either solo travel or a couple that plans to be out sightseeing and doesn't require a ton of extra space.

I am a semi-retired teacher and have taught here in Kauai for over 30 years. I continue to teach for the State of Hawaii in online science courses. I am an athlete and a water woman and I enjoy surfing and compete in outrigger canoe races between the islands. I am a grandmother, a scientist, and a world traveler.
The photo is of my parents and I on a lake in their beautiful Vermont during the fall.

Why they chose this property

The folks that live in Sandpiper Village full time call it 'The Village'. Although it's a condo in a resort community we have families and working folks that live here along with the lucky visitors that we share the neighborhood with. The grounds and plantings are lush and tropical, the pool is crystal clean and the groundskeepers and management are friendly members of our village.
I rented this unit for over 20 years before I got a fortunate break and was able to purchase it in March 2019. I worked through an intensive renovation, refurbishing everything from floor to ceiling and placed in on VRBO in May. I'm hoping that my new VRBO business will help support me in my retirement!
