Fantastic

Bunkhouse was perfect in every way. Clean, comfortable and no need unmet for 5 day stay. Great WiFi, TV, kitchen supplies, etc. Suzette did everything to make our stay perfect. Wouldn't change a thing, except to make plans to stay here again next year!

Great vacation spot

The Bunkhouse was the perfect accommodation for us. Manager was easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly.Close to Yellowstone for a convenient base of operations. Saw literally hundreds of elk near the property on driving out at daylight each day, also some antelope and deer. Very clean and just as described. All you need to bring is what you eat. Close enough to Emigrate and Gardiner for eating out if you prefer. 10 out 10 rating.

Away from it all

Amenities were outstanding and Suzette was great. She answered all our questions and provided helpful information about the area. The location was absolutely beautiful. Driving the gravel road added to the adventure! We hope to return.

Great "base camp" for YNP

This rental was one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. It was well stocked, Suzette has thought of so many details. There is even a map of the park with distances to key locations posted by how long the drive is, extra binoculars (we had our own but that is such a great extra), coolers, and bear spray. The bunkhouse was quiet and clean. My two favorite things. Saw a good amount of animals when we were there. It was smokey most of the time due to fires so it was nice to have somewhere to retreat to.

Holy smokes, guys!!

The property is in the perfect location if you're looking for some peace and quiet along with your adventure. The road leading up is gravel but it added to the excitement due to the incredible views and we were able to see a ton of wildlife just on the drive itself. The bunkhouse is very comfortable and is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals (just add groceries), do laundry (detergent and softener provided), or just chill after a long day in Yellowstone (the commute there and back seems to take no time at all!). It's extremely clean, well looked after, and Suzette was very quick to reply if we had any questions - I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to stay.

Mountain retreat

Our family were looking for a cabin/house that was near Yellowstone but also quiet and felt like a retreat and this bunkhouse definitely was that. The house had everything we needed and some that we didn't think of, I usually pack everything but the kitchen sink and this house I didn't need to. Looking out the living room window to see a mountain and horses was awesome and we did see the deer everyone mentioned in the previous reviews laying under the trailer around the side, pretty cool! The only downside I would have to say was that the bridge was not available to cross as they had not completed it yet from it being washed out from flooding so it took a bit longer to reach the main road and the road having to travel definitely needed some maintenance from either the state or county. But overall, it was a wonderful stay and if we come back to the area, we would stay again! Thank you for sharing your house and view!

Peaceful Retreat

We had a great time at the bunkhouse. The property was so well equipped, it had everything we could have ever imagined needing. We drove up through Yellowstone on our arrival day and made a few stops, we saw people with binoculars and immediately realized we made a huge mistake not purchasing and bringing a pair with us, we walked in the front door and there were binoculars right on the coffee table, amazing!! I knew we were going to be about 35 minutes from Yellowstone when we booked but what I didn’t take in to account was how big Yellowstone is and an extra 35 minutes each way was a lot more driving. Just something to be aware of but is in no way reflective of the amazing property. Coming back to the peacefulness of the bunkhouse does compensate for the extra time tgough

Beautiful Bunkhouse

We had a great trip to Yellowstone with the Bunkhouse as our home base. The place is in a beautiful, somewhat remote, setting with mountain views and wildlife right outside the door. The house is so well stocked, the host thought of everything you could possibly need! The only downside is that the trip up the mountain is fairly long, and with the bridge still out from previous flooding, it takes about 40-45 minutes to get to Yellowstone. I can imagine when the bridge opens back up it would probably cut that time almost in half. This minor inconvenience was totally worth it for such a beautiful place to stay! Definitely one of the very best vacation rentals we have ever been to.

If you are visiting yellowstone this is the place to stay at

Very comfortable place with access to yellowstone through Gandiner Mt., The cabin was very clean and had a ton of off hand item that we forgot while shopping in Livingston, The beds were very soft and comfortable and the kitchen had every item you would need to cook any meal, Outside of the cabin, we had mule deer every morning and night walking around it. We spent 12-14 hours day visiting yellowstone and Grand Tetons and the owner made sure we had everything we needed to relax after of day of exploring.

The Bunkhouse

If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place for you! In a quiet location, away from the tourist hotspots of Yellowstone National Park, you can enjoy the beauty of Montana. Many animals can be observed, we even saw bears. The people are all very friendly. The Bunkhouse is well equipped and exceptionally clean. Suzette is the perfect Host, provides accurate information and takes great care of her guests. We would come again in herantrat.

Beautiful Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse was absolutely amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our first trip to Montana. Suzette was a fantastic host and the bunkhouse was fully stocked with so much attention to detail. The views were breathtaking, we even had a few wildlife visitors right on the property, put the icing on top of the cake for our trip.

Fantastic Cabin with beautiful view

The bunkhouse was perfect! Everything we could have possibly needed was available - first aid kit, bear spray, extra face wash. We enjoyed the privacy and beautiful scenery. My teenage son said, “if we ever own a rental cabin, this is the way it is supposed to be done.” One of the best we have ever stayed in. While in the area we enjoyed wildlife viewing, YNP, whitewater rafting the Gallatin River.

Perfect cozy cabin

This cabin has all the comforts of home yet the rugged back mountain Montana cabin feel, the owner really took the time to make sure that this cabin was fully stocked for anything you may need and the furniture is so comfortable and beautiful, the details to the decorative design in this cabin was perfect. Suzette was very helpful and even messaged us to see how our stay was going. Its a short drive from the cabin to Yellowstone. Don't miss out on this one, I just checked out and already miss sitting on porch out front of the cabin drinking my coffee watching the sunrise over the mountains and the Animals running across the valley. I definitely will be back again thank you Suzette for all your hospitality we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning sometime in the future.

By far most favorite place to stay at in this area!

It was just perfect! We loved every thing about it! Location, remote, atmosphere was off the charts! The attention to detail is off the charts as well! As guests we are so so grateful for that and having bear spray is huge. For those of us that fly, we really appreciate not having to worry about that part! Being able to explore and enjoy Paradise Valley along with being so close to Gardner and north entrance of the park was such an extra treat! We loved our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening soaking up the scenery and wildlife!! Nature truly unfolds in front of you! And peaceful!! O my, soo peaceful! We will be back for sure in a different time of year to experience that season!! We thank the host for everything this week! Suzette is the best!

You couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay than the bunkhouse. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have everything you needed to cook meals. Loved having a washer and dryer as well! We didn’t even go into the park during our stay. We saw so much wildlife just driving down the road to the Bar B Ranch every morning and evening! One evening we counted 15 grizzlies on the field! It was so nice to not have to deal with the traffic of the park! Great to come in every evening and relax then go out the next day and look for wildlife! Great location to stay!

The bunkhouse is a mountain paradise!

The bunkhouse was fabulous and we would absolutely return to it, should we travel to Montana again. It was a nice change from the heavy traffic of Yellowstone, and less than a half hour outside the northern entrance to the park. We LOVED the nature on the gravel road leading up to the house and the horses across the way. Just breathtaking! Every time we left the house for the day, we had so much fun watching for animals just off the road. There were so many and as a photographer, it was incredible to capture the beauty around every corner. To us, this part of our trip to Yellowstone, was our favorite. This area is just gorgeous and the house was remote, quiet and incredibly clean. I would highly recommend the bunkhouse to anyone that is searching for a mountain paradise!

Cute cabin in gorgeous location!

Beautiful views, nestled in the mountains. The cabin has everything we needed for our stay. One note is to expect to travel several miles down a dirt road to get there. This area was affected by the Yellowstone River flood, and with a bridge out it makes the commute much longer. It did not affect our overall experience. Still very worth the drive!

Nice home base for Yellowstone

This property was well maintained, clean and super cute. Yellowstone is a lot of driving so the 30 minute drive to and from the north entrance was a fair trade for a place we could spread out and relax. It was wonderful to have a place to do laundry, pack our lunches and cook dinner. We would recommend this rental to anyone traveling to Yellowstone, above our expectations
