Dot's Place by Sardis Lake is a dedicated vacation rental, ready for your family and friends! This 2,200 square foot home is set 600 feet off Blackjack Road, nestled on a 9 acre wooded lot. The 4 bedrooms have room to bring the whole gang! Sleeps 8 comfortably - additional guests and pets are possible. The full kitchen was built with entertaining in mind! Dinner and event seating is 20+!

Bring the family together for a visit to Sardis Lake, John Kyle State Park, or Mallard Pointe Golf Course. Come stay near enough to Oxford to do things at Ole Miss and FNC Park. If Roadside America attractions are your thing, don’t miss visiting the World’s Largest Cedar Bucket.

The Master Suite overlooks the fenced back yard. It has a King size 4 posted bed, Upholstered Arm Chair, Night Tables, And Bench.

The ensuite Master Bath features Double Vanity, across from walk-in closet.
Enjoy the sky and side yard view from the jetted Jacuzzi bathtub.
A Bamboo tub tray (Just add a magazine, book or beverage perhaps.)
If you prefer, the Shower stall has a two seats and has a safety grip.

Bedroom One features a Queen size bed, and overlooks the wooded circular drive.

Let Alexa take care of turning on the lights in the roomy living room, and spacious kitchen/dining area. The well supplied kitchen includes basic spices, and condiments, coffee and tea, Microwave, Oven, Glass Top Stove, Dishwasher, Refrigerator-Freezer with Ice Maker, Blender, Toaster, Coffee Maker (K cup & Carafe), Sodastream, and Popcorn Maker. The Kitchen table seats 8, and there's 5 stools at the kitchen countertop.

The property has fiber internet, a 55" TCL 4K TV in the living room, with streaming channels and a 32" TCL TV in the game room, with streaming channels and a Wii system! The game table is perfect for jenga, scrabble, monopoly, bananagrams, backgammon, card games or doing a jigsaw puzzle.

A fenced back yard and shady rockers on the front porch allow you to relax and slow down. The Sandstone nature and fitness trails, Lower Lake, Spillway, and Sardis Lake Boat Ramps are a short 6 minute (4 miles) drive down Blackjack Road. Mallard Pointe Golf Course is a mere 13 minutes (7.8 miles) away.

Getting here is a quick 12 minutes (11 miles) from Hwy 55 (Batesville & Oxford Exit) take Hwy 6/278 to Blackjack Road. Other nearby attractions include: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, MS -- 18 minutes (14 miles) down Hwy 6. FNC Park at Oxford/Lafayette Fields is 20 minutes (15 miles) away. The Worlds Largest Cedar Bucket is only 7 minutes (6 Miles) away!

Wonderfully equipped home

The home is very nice, spacious and the owners have thought about everything you could need. I would highly recommend staying here either if your going to the lake or Ole Miss.

Just perfect!

This was by far the nicest place that we have ever booked on VRBO. The owners went above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and they made sure that you had all that you needed while you stayed at their house.

Excellent Rental House

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We were in the area for an Ole Miss football game and it was the perfect location. Close enough for a short drive but in a quiet and peaceful area. The house was very large with plenty of space for our family. They provided an excellent house manual with all of the information needed for our stay. They have marked everything in the house which made it so made it so easy for us. We would definitely stay at this house in the future

Weekend getaway for a cancelled concert

This place was absolutely perfect! Very nice and very clean. So peaceful sitting outside on the back porch. And having the doggy visitors was a wonderful treat! Highly recommend this place to anyone going to any function in Oxford or Batesville. Perfect location!

Beautiful property!

We were in for a softball tournament in Oxford. This home was much more reasonable than the local hotels. It was great having so much space. The home was beautiful and very clean. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful, peaceful, and clean location!!!

This is a very beautiful and peaceful location. You will feel as if you are away from everything-except you are really just a few miles from either Batesville or Oxford. The house is very clean, neat and organized. They have thought of everything you might need for a very relaxing vacation.

A perfect gameday weekend

Dotty's place was our favorite place to stay for gameday weekend in Oxford and we've stayed at quite a few!! It was so peaceful, away from the hussle and bussle of town but a quick 15 minute drive to campus. Plenty of room and all the furniture and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped and the fenced in backyard was perfect if you are bringing a pet. The manuel for the home was very thorough and answered any question you could have for your stay. We hope to definitely stay here again!!

Amazing location between Sardis Lake and Oxford. We could not have chosen a better venue. John and Paula went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Their extras made us go “WOW”. So comfy, so peaceful, so much room! It was our “Home away from Home”! We would definitely recommend Dot’s Place!

A beautiful private retreat

This is one of best properties we have rented for our travels. The house is beautiful, on a large, wooded and very private lot. It has a great layout and the hosts have done an outstanding job stocking it with everything one might need and also labeling light switches, kitchen appliances etc - so useful. The check-in was smooth and we found the house to be spotlessly clean. The back porch was one of the highlights for us, with the charming scent of gardenias, visiting hummingbirds, birdsong in the surrounding forest and the most beautiful displays of fireflies at night. The house is about 6 minutes from the Sardis lake marina and 20 minutes from Oxford, where we went for a couple of excellent meals in the downtown square. An all-around wonderful experience, which we can't wait to repeat!

Great value

Cute house located in a wooded lot providing lots of privacy. There were lots of little extras included in the place, like a fully equipped kitchen complete with sandwich bags/paper plates as well as board games and dog toys. There were pickers in the gated backyard area where the grass was that was annoying for the dogs. But plenty of room to walk them in the front up the long driveway which they liked. Great value for our family with an Ole Miss Graduation. We left a t shirt, and they were super kind to text a pic and will mail it to us! Now, that is customer service! Highly recommend this place.

Family Christmas

This is our second family Christmas at Dot’s Place. John and Paula go above and beyond to decorate. There were even gifts left under a Christmas tree! The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with coffee and condiments. A small fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog. There were plenty of rooms to sit and visit or play games. The game room has a Wii, board games, kids toys, futon, and card table. Outdoor areas were great for relaxing. Everything was clean and John and Paula were very responsive as always. We’ll be back!

Great get away house

Great house to accommodate our family and some of our daughter’s friends for an Ole Miss game. Close enough to the Square for shopping and dining yet far enough to to be secluded from the business of town. The house had great amenities and the property was wonderful! Great for families! We will try to stay again if in town!

Wonderful home for fishing and family trip

This is a very clean and well supplied home. This is our third visit to this home and hopefully will not be the last. Our entire family loves this home from the adults to the children. The kitchen has everything one could want or need to prepare a meal. The beds are so comfortable. They house is very clean and well maintained. Perfect stay for football game weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at this immaculate home that was roughly 12 to 15 minutes from downtown Oxford. Situated in a nice quiet community and came equipped with everything you would need! We would most definitely stay here again.

Pharmacy White Coat Ceremony at Ole Miss

We had a great time and property is perfect for trip to Ole Miss. Close enough to get to campus and Oxford but secluded enough to enjoy nature and Sardis Lake. In these challenging times owner provided masks, wipes, sanitizers and Norwex products. We will definitely stay here again!!
