The Royal Dalhousie apartments with free WI-FI connection have huge common areas such as a living room with HD smart TV and HD receiver. A large dining room to enjoy your meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen with appliances (fridge, stove and 30-inch dishwasher), small electrical appliances (double coffee maker, toaster, food processor and slow cooker), cookware and cooking utensils. kitchenware, cutlery and glasses. Sumptuous individual and comfortable bedrooms with, for the most part, a complete adjoining bathroom with shower and bath. Towels, hair dryer, personal hygiene products, ironing board and iron, washer and dryer, everything is there! A park, a high chair and a folding bed are available on request.

This is a charming, cozy, top-floor flat with a beautiful view of the river and park. The owners even surprised us with a lovely Christmas tree - it was very festive and comfortable for us and our 2 adult children. It's also a great location!

August Quebec Trip

Great location in lower Old Quebec. Pierre greeted us right away and took use to our condo. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Unit is across from pier, so it was easy to see cruise ships come in. Splash pad near pier was fun for the kids. Short walk to most of the sites, and the funicular to upper old Quebec. Lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Groceries about 20 min walk. Elevator was small but adequate. Condo was clean and comfortable. Kitchen has basic items. It has a Kcup coffee maker. It has a rooftop deck which is wonderful to end the day with. We had a great time and the hosts were very helpful!

The Royal Dalhousie "oooh La La"

The Royal Dalohousie offerred us a lovely penthouse view of the Saint Lawrence River, A large living space and all the comforts one could ask for in a vacation home away from home. There is an elevator on the property which is nice since this penthouse apartment is on the 4th floor. We also enjoyed the rooftop deck and the parking that was available to guest (small fee but worth it). The management was great and very responsive. We highly recommend the Royal Dalhouise for your Quebec adventure.

Amazing location and views!

This apartment is gorgeous. Comfortable beds, lovely decor and amazing view of the St. Lawrence River. Pierre gave us a full tour upon arrival along with recommendations for local eateries and things to do. Fireworks from the roof deck were captivating! We will return!

Amazing!

We had such a wonderful stay! My husband said that this was his favorite place we have ever stayed. The views were amazing, and the apartment was very comfortable. We had everything that we needed. The location was ideal - close to Place Royale and the river, but not noisy. We also really enjoyed the splash pad across the street. The hosts were very helpful and gracious. Awesome stay.

Quebec City was magical!

Royal Dalhousie Penthouse Le Laurent was a wonderful property with easy access to everything in Old Quebec. The owners were terrific. The accommodations were spacious for six adults with a well-equipped kitchen, lovely seating area, a nice upstairs deck, and great views of the river. The only down-side for our group was the 'Jack and Jill' bathroom situation with the second and third bedrooms. Even with that we would definitely rent it again.

Apartment is amazing with gorgeous views of the Saint Lawrence River. Pierre, who met us when we arrived, could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. The location of the building was perfect for seeing the city of Quebec.

So spacious and clean with stunning views.

This was a perfect location for my family of 4 and mother in law and Aunt. The two smaller rooms are connected with twin room with not as much privacy but it was a great layout for us. The living room is just massive and location was nestled close to the prettiest spots in Old Quebec. We hope to visit and stay again!

Wonderful Quebec

We loved the whole weekend. The property manager was responsive. Check in was simple and they met us when we arrived. We then got to meet the owner and learn about him and chat with him for quite awhile. Great location.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful loft in a prime location. Front row seat to watch the fireworks, which was an unexpected treat. Host was wonderful. Very helpful and went out of his way to make us comfortable and share information about Quebec City.

Perfect in every way

This property is perfectly located, spotlessly clean, had a great view of the river and the hosts could not have been better. So easy to walk to all the popular spots in the city and so easy to drive to I’lle d’Orleans and the waterfall at Chute Montmorency. We were so happy the weather warmed up enough for us to enjoy the rooftop terrace! We highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Beautiful Apartment

We loved our stay here! The apartment is in a wonderful location - so easy to walk to all of the sites in the Old City. The views of the river out of the big window are so pretty. And they even put up a Christmas tree! We loved everything about the place - so clean, cozy and charming!

This is a wonderful spot to rent. The location is great. Easy walk to some super restaurants, museums and shops. The view of the St. Lawrence River us fabulous. The apartment is large. It is very clean.

Right in the heart of Old Quebec with great view of the River

A well done remodel of an old space with a few quirks. Pros: 1. Good location to access lower town part of Old Quebec. 2. Very wide open living / kitchen area 3. no noise from other units 4. adequately furnished with bath items, kitchen utensils 5. very private feel 6. TV had USA network channels available (for football games, etc.) 7. Hosts were quite nice 8. Definitely will give you an old world feel/ambiance CONS 1. Very quirky air conditioning/heating system with vents blowing air to warm things up even when we had it reduced for cooler sleeping 2. lack of door on master bath was quirky in terms of temp control in the room 3. Street noise could be an issue for light sleepers, bring your noise machines 4. very low stock of basic coffee/tea choices compared to other VRBO units 5. Lighting in the unit is not great. Think mostly lamp. 6. The plus of being old world also means the access from the street is old world, very small sidewalk and entry area, but that's not automatically bad, just be aware

Why they chose this property

The Royal Dalhousie is located in the heart of Place Royale. It is from this location that Samuel de Champlain constructed the first habitation; a farm and a shed. The location was named after Louis XIV and is one of the last remaining relics of 17th & 18th century buildings in North America.

All eight condos in the Royal Dalhousie offer breathtaking views of a park overlooking the St. Lawrence River, seen through 8-foot high windows. They also all have high ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed ceiling beams, which accentuate the rich history of these newly renovated condos.
