A little piece of heaven

This cabin was in a quiet secluded location, The creek was everything my grandson hoped it would be. .He even caught a fair size rainbow trout. The host, Clifton, was a great communicator.

Peaceful getaway

This cabin offers a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy nature. It is fully equipped and we loved the enclosed porch and outside deck. It is also close to stores and restaurants. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

Great location!

Wonderful location. We took our dogs and fished in the river on the property. We love bringing our bikes in the summertime.. it is a quick drive to the new river trail.

Blue Ridge Cabin

This is a great place for a visit to the Blue Ridge region. We stayed for 4 days and were able to do bike rides on both the Blue Ridge Parkway and the New River Bike Trail, go for several hikes and attend a great concert by the Steep Canyon Rangers at the Blue Ridge Music Center. The cabin is about 1 mile from Route 58 on a quiet side road. The cabin itself has anything you might need during your stay and everything was clean and in good working order. We, and our dog, very much enjoyed the large open area and the running stream behind the cabin. This was our second stay here and will try to stay here again when we next visit the area.

Awesome place!

This is the third time I've stayed here. Awesome views and very quite. I can sit on the front deck for hours, in the screened in area or on the open deck. Always something new to look at.

We continue to enjoy this jewel tucked away in the mountains. Super close to water activities and biking the New River Trail. The leaves were peak! Clifton is super easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Spotless clean, neat rustic furniture and accessories, great small river sound and access on property, remote but close to hwy. and to Galax and the music center. Dog ran free on many acre grassed and water property. Modern appliances and well stocked. Host was pleasant. A special place!

Perfect setting

This place is just as billed. We had a fantastic time with a fire by the creek. Listened to the creek from the screened-in porch with coffee and a book. Close to the new river state park trail where we rode our bikes. Clifton was very nice and responsive. We booked a Fall trip during our stay! enough said!

Perfect!

Fantastic, private and well suited. We had everything we needed. Had to sleep separately as my husband is 6'5 and takes up the WHOLE bed, but I slept the best I have in weeks as a result! Our pups were entertained by the wildlife through the window. Deer at every glance, saw a stunning fox as well. Went to Floyd for the Friday night Jamboree, missed the REX theatre Friday night concert, make sure you don't! Great weather for November. Hiked all over. Great time! Thanks!

Simply wonderful!

We stayed for 3 nights and drove to Galax to cycle in the New River trail. Just a short drive to the trail head. We stopped to pick up carry out food for dinner after cycling each day. The house is adorable - all updated and very clean. Furnishings are “rustic” but very comfortable. Appliances all worked well and the washer and dryer helped us keep our cycling clothes fresh. AC and ceiling fans kept us comfortable. Screened porch and open deck provide lovely views of the lawn and babbling creek. The shower was great and towels abundant. 2 good-sized bedrooms with comfy Queen beds. House was well stocked with everything we needed (except food except food of course!) Deer in the yard every morning! Location is very private and peaceful. We hope to return in the future. Highly recommend this gem!

Everything was as advertised and we loved it! So much so that we weren't ready to leave and wanted to stay longer. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and the location was perfect for us. Will definitely visit again!
