Come get away from it all and take a vacation on beautiful Crane Lake. Crane Lake is 355 acres and is connected by a channel to Pickerel Lake which is about 1200 acres.h
Here you can fish, boat, swim, kayak, paddle board, atv, snowmobile and just enjoy nature! There are also 2 casinos nearby. -- The boat landing is conveniently located a block down the road. -- You can leave on ATVs from the cabin about 5 miles down pavement to Augustus springs trails. -- There are numerous places in the area to get lunch, dinner or drinks.
The cabin has 4 bedrooms: -- Bedroom 1: 1 Queen Bed -- Bedroom 2: 1 Queen Bed / 1 Twin Bed Bunk + 3 mini bunks for children -- Bedroom 3: 1 Queen Bed -- Bedroom 4: 1 Full-Size Bed -- 2 Pullout Sofa -- 2 portable cots available .. Can be set up in the overflow room on lower level
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities needed. Towels and linens are provided. There are extra linens/blankets available for the pullout sofa & cots.
We do allow dogs but you must pick up after them.
Outside you will find 2 kayaks & 1 paddle board. You will need to provide your own life vests. It is not the best frontage for swimming as it can become silty but fun to catch panfish off the dock! It’s nice to jump off the boat in the middle of the lake or at the small island on Crane Lake, otherwise there is a sandbar on Pickerel Lake or a sandy beach at 'Pickerel Point Resort Bar and Grill.' There is a gas grill available for use on the deck and a fire pit.

Nicely updated cottage on lake front. Ample parking for 4 vehicles. Comfortable accommodations for our group of 5 adults. Everything as described and in working order.
Very comfortable home with great views of Crane Lake. Great way to spend some time in the Northwoods. Easy access to ATV and snowmobile trails. Definitely will be coming back.
This beautiful lake home exceeded our expectations!!!
This place was perfect, even better than what the pictures can show...we were all so impressed! The lake home was clean, neat and featured many new updates, very nicely decorated too. It came with everything we needed, we just had to bring food & drink. It's located right on Crane Lake which is the perfect size, very peaceful and never too busy. Our family had such a fun 5 day stay going boating, tubing, swimming out by the island, water skiing (which our kids did for the first time!) and fishing for bluegill, perch, bass and walleye. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and use of the propane grill. The neighborhood is very friendly ...the kids and I took daily walks & bike rides on the quiet road, hardly a car went by. We were thrilled to see Bald Eagles in the trees right in the yard and flying over the lake, loons and deer with her fawns. The weather was nice and the house has great cross ventilation with lots of windows so we stayed cool & comfortable even in August. We have nothing but praise and gratitude for being lucky enough to find this place, it had everything we were looking for and more....just beautiful. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back again sometime!!!
This is the first time I have rented a cabin on a lake. Absolutely wonderful. The house looks remodeled inside and had all the comforts of home. What a beautiful area. The Eagles were great to watch and the deer walking into the yard really made the trip. Rented a boat one day, the easiest boat rental I ever had.
Can't wait to book for next year.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful property

Overall we liked the house there were a few things I wish we would have known. The grill needed propane, the garage was not available to us and a boat was parked along the dock. We did enjoy the kayaks and paddleboard.
Our family had a fun and relaxing time here at Crane Lake. There were plenty of beds for everyone, and our three youngest (5,9, & 12) loved the triple bunk bed. The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed the great view of the lake. We spent a lot of time on the water. The kids loved the paddle board and lily pad. It was fun exploring the channel and side waterways on the way to Pickerel Lake with the kayaks. We swam near the island in Crane Lake on several occasions. We caught a few small bluegills and a bass while out fishing on the lake. Some of the wildlife we encountered : a beaver, eagles, deer, snakes, turtles, toads, loons, ducks, and a muskrat. The road that the property is on was great for running and biking. We had a great week!
Very clean, easy to access but off the beaten trail. Neighbors were very nice as well. We’ve stayed at a much more rustic house the 3 years prior, and it was definitely nice having a few more amenities than we had the last few years.
Fishing is *meh* from the pier.
One thing to be careful of until it gets repaired is the deck, it is pulling away from the house and rocks a bit when walking on it.
Very nice cottage. Plenty of room for all of us. Very clean. All the comforts of home were there already. I was concerned about the lack of A/C but the weather was very nice and didn't need it. Very nice lake not many boats the week we were there felt like you had the lake to yourself. Looked like more ATV going on that week. If you ATV great spot tons of trails. We brought our own resin tables and folding chairs to make it better to eat and play games in the house if need be. The kitchen table was to small for what we needed. Also used another table for all the snacks everyone brings. I knew all this before we came up from the pictures. That would be my only owners suggestions is to maybe have that as an option. Owners were very accommodating on a early check in that was awesome. Communication was very good. Prompt response to all of my questions. The gas grille and outside table and chairs were a huge plus. I would definitely rent this property again in the future.
Really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Great location with big yard. Easy access to water for dogs to enjoy. Great deck with grill to eat outside or just relax and enjoy the views. Cabin was clean and lots of room for family. Caught ample pan fish for a big fish fry. Tied up at the small island which was great for our little grandson to swim. Enjoyed use of the kayaks! Thanks for a great vacation!
Great place for some family down time and lake fun. House is cute and spacious enough. Homeowners have provided plenty of beds and 2 nice camping cots, 2 kayaks, a paddleboard and a Aqua Lily Pad for you to use. There is a dock for you to tie your boat to. The lake has great fishing! We had a super time and didn't feel crowded with four adults and three teenagers plus they let you bring your family pets if you want. Eric was a pleasure to work with, he responded quickly to all my questions and was super helpful. We had a major storm blow in on our last night and lost electricity but the house stayed pretty cool. The trees are rooted well, neighbors lost some of their trees but none fell at 9099 Doemel Ln. All so the house is located in walking distance to the atv/ snowmobile trails. The main road in makes a great running or walking road too. We highly recommend this rental. We grilled on there awesome grill almost ever day thanks to Uncle Peter and Cindy who got it for Eric and his bride Elizabeth. Great gift! This rental is a great price with great owners! Only down side is no washer and dryer to use but the laundry mat is not far.
