About this property

Perfect for two couples, a family of 4, or a quiet, romantic getaway for two. This 3-level townhouse features an open living area with wood stove, cathedral ceilings with fans, a fully-equipped kitchen, LCD HDTV with cable, wireless internet access, blu-ray/DVD/CD players, gas grill, washer/dryer and a variety of movies, books, and games.

The upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed and the downstairs bedroom has a king-sized bed which can be converted to two extra-long twin beds upon request. TVs in both bedrooms.

All bedding, towels, and basic paper goods are provided.

Your stay also includes membership in the Village Swim and Tennis Club at the Village of Loon Family Resort, offering two outdoor pools, two indoor pools, four Jacuzzis (one outdoors), sauna, exercise and game room, tennis courts. Plus winter shuttle bus service to mountain.

Get more for your money! Just bring food for the fridge (or shop downtown). We have everything else you need. This is a really nice place for two couples or a small family at affordable rates. You can be quite comfortable, save on restaurant bills by using the kitchen, and enjoy everything the White Mountain area has to offer.

Wonderful place to unwind

Our stay here was fantastic. Keren and Greg were terrific hosts. Very clear, communication, extremely clean, and just overall awesome. I would recommend this property to anybody.

Wonderful place!

We loved our stay at this beautiful condo. Owners really thought of everything. Well equipped kitchen, good instructions on how to use things and a wealth of information on the area. Owners were in contact a lot to make sure we had directions, got settled in and had any questions.

Perfect place in every way

We have stayed in numerous VRBO’s etc and this was by far one of the best. Everything you needed was in the condo and it’s just a perfect setup in every way for 2 couples or two singles with 2 very private bedroom spaces. Merengue was an exceptional host/owner and responsive immediately! 100% recommend this place!!

Amazing, clean condo!

This condo was exactly as described. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and the owners left all the information about the area that we could ever need. They even checked in to make sure all was well. My family had a wonderful time. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely recommendation staying here to anyone looking for a NH get-away!

Outstanding Stay

This was our first opportunity to ":get out and away" since March. This property is one of the nicest we've stayed in and was perfect for a fall get away to enjoy the colors. All the amenities were superb and we loved the wood stove. Keren's recommendations for dining options were spot on, and all communications with her were prompt. This is a great place for one or two couples or a family, and we will be back!

A bit of relaxation in uncertain times

We have been staying at the Whaleback in for years. We love how relaxing and well appointed it is. It truly feels like our home away from home. This year we felt very lucky that travel between our two states was allowed and we were able to have a short vacation there. Nice to have some normalcy amidst all this turmoil!

Clean, cozy and comfortable

This is our second time staying at this property. It is impeccably clean , very cozy and the owners are wonderfully accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about this lovely place. A gem.

This was our third? Fourth? Trip here and as always love. Love. Love. From the high quality, earth conscious soaps, to the great movie selection. There’s hundreds of places near Lincoln, this is our hands down favorite. I’m already excited for next year!

A pleasure, as always!

This was our fourth time staying at this property and we have loved every minute of it. The space is immaculately clean, comfortable, and includes all the necessities. The location is great for exploring the white mountains. Neighbors are quiet and the view from the porch is beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Truly Fantastic

We recently stayed at this condo and it was absolutely amazing. It is in a perfect location centrally located in the White Mountains whether you are there to hike or ski. The kitchen is fully stocked with wonderful pots, pans, etc. so you can easily make lovely meals and stay in for the evening. The deck was very nice in the evening to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. We especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds in the morning and evening out the living room windows. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms and baths were separated to give privacy to each area, for two couples it is perfect. The place is very well taken care of, neat and tidy. We will definitely be back again someday. Thank you for sharing your place with us, we loved it!!!

The Whaleback Inn is lovely and cosy and in a great location

Dream Stay

This was our third visit to the Whaleback Inn. The owners are a pleasure to communicate with, easy to book. Beautiful loft style master bedroom. This is our "go-to" place for any trip to Lincoln.

Charmingly Wonderful

I cannot say enough good things about those rental property and the owners. Not only is it conveniently located near everything, it's always clean, comfortable and well kept. Beautiful condo in the mountains!

This was my third stay at the Whaleback Inn, and it was just as lovely as the first! It's in a perfect location, and Keren is always so wonderful and accommodating. The Whaleback Inn is a comfortable, gorgeous place, and Keren has really thought of everything! We even made breakfast tacos in the kitchen this time, and all we had to get were the ingredients -- everything else was there! Our weekend was flawless! Thank you so much, as always, and I can't wait to stay here again!

Wonderful time! Loved every minute of our stay!

We decided to go on the spur of the moment so hadn't packed everything we normally would- no need! The owners had everything you could ever want! It was just like home from the moment you walked in. We had a fantastic stay! Very comfortable furnishings top to bottom. Loved the decor and felt welcomed. Great location. We will go back the first chance we can. Easy, convenient, and cozy!

My husband and I rented this sweet condo for our wedding weekend! What a cozy place! It was absolutely perfect for us in terms of space! The upstairs loft bedroom was really comfortable and even had a full bath. There was enough space up there to comfortably sleep 2 people. The main floor, which does not have a bathroom, had plenty of space provided for a small living room, dining area and kitchen. You could probably even sleep 2 people on the couch as they were quite long and comfortable. We loved the open floor concept and the outdoor porch. The basement had a full bath and king bed, and although I could imagine this could get quite cold in the winter, there is a great heater in the hallway that quickly warms up the condo. The owners did a fantastic job decorating this rustic place and supplied enough amenities to make you feel right at home! They even had champagne and chocolates waiting for us! As well, they have plenty of oils , spices, coffee and tea. If we were to return to this area, we would definitely rent this again! Keren (owner) was super easy and flexible to work with, which made the entire experience enjoyable!

Comfortable, well stocked, would rent again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our time at the condo. We have rented several vacation homes around the US and this by far was the most well stocked and welcoming. We enjoyed the movies, wine, and hummingbirds. Owners were responsive to emails and even mailed an item to us we accidentally left behind. Condo was in a great location, close to attractions.

It's so good, I don't want to tell anyone about it !

This is a hidden treasure. The owners are amazing, nice, and thoughtful people. The condo feels like a million bucks, but is affordable for all budgets. If I could give this rental more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you for letting us stay in your home, and always providing an excellent experience and service. Beautiful home with great character and comfort

I would definitely return to The Whaleback Inn! Everything you need/could potentially need has been thought of by Keren and Greg. The views of Loon Mountain from the deck are incredible, I am so happy to have discovered this place! Some of our favorite things about The Whaleback Inn: the beds were so comfortable, great games and movies to choose from, and a very detailed welcome book that answered every question you can think of! Perfect Mountain Retreat

This home is perfect for a couple or a family who wants to get away and be surrounded by mountains and nature. We only stayed 2 nights and wish we could've stayed longer. The autumn foliage of the birch trees was wonderful and we felt like we were in a tree house. The fire place was great too and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you- we hope to return one day!

Why they chose this property

We built family memories in the White Mountains with our four children and extended family for many years. When we had the opportunity to buy our own place, we were thrilled. Now we are building memories with our grandchildren too.

What makes this property unique

This particular townhome (which we call The Whaleback Inn) has a lovely view of the Loon Mountain ski slopes. It's also an end unit on a wooded corner which makes the deck feel quite private. Rather than decorating solely for rental use, we decided to strive for the comfort level we desire for our own family. We feel at home as soon as we walk through the door and hope you will too.
