Apartment is nice but property management (Vacasa) is not good

The apartment was perfectly fine, with an excellent view of the Gulf and an unencumbered view of the sunrises/sunsets. The pool and the beach also make it worthwhile to stay at Calypso. At first, we liked Vacasa's level of communication. They seemed very focused on good customer service, but we learned quickly it was all cosmetic. While they seemed to have schedules for automated texts, the moment we had a sincere request they became evasive and antagonistic. I'd share examples if I could fit it in the character count, but I'll summarize by saying I think Vacasa is insincere and untrustworthy in their approach to customer service. They are nice so long as you don't suggest you haven't gotten what you paid for. I think the inconveniences of not knowing whether or not your apartment would have water for a day and having to wake up to jackhammering on the property do not meet the experience Vacasa suggests by the price they charge to stay with them. I will not be staying at another Vacasa property.

Would defiantly stay here again, clean and walking distance to near by shops and pier. Place was clean and pics jus like it was online, I could live in this place. the bed squeaked lol but other than that place was described exactly online, Hope to stay again next time I try to visit this area every year.

Wonderful time at the beach!

I was nervous due to the condo not having and recent reviews, but it was great! Furniture has been updated, beds are very comfortable and clean, kitchen had all cookware and utensils needed, bathrooms had plenty of towels and wash rags. The washer and dryer was so nice to have considering how long we were there. Also, a HUGE plus for us because we forgot our beach chairs is they have all the beach chairs and umbrellas you could want. It truly felt like home and I look forward to staying here in the future. The location was AMAZING!!

It was just ok.

It was a nice clean condo. Pretty view of ocean and pool. Elevators were an issue. Parking more than one car was an issue. Not enough towels, plates, cups for 6 people unless you want to wash dishes after each meal, and wash towels every afternoon.

I booked 703E calypso based on posted reviews. It was not true. The condo is in need of MAJOR renovation. The carpet has absolutely the worse stains and pet damage! No pets allowed, but someone has had a pet there. The decor is not beach, dark and framed art is decades old. The decor in this condo is used and bought stuff from an old house. There are good points, AC good, appliances good, and plenty of linens. My family will not return to this unit in the future.

Location is Great, very close to restaurant's and shopping. This unit is in need of some TLC. Carpet is worn out and needs replaced. Makes it feel like the condo is dirty. Parking can be a little challenging in the garage if you need to be near the walkway / elevator. I would stay at Calypso again but in a different unit.

Good location and Beautiful beaches

The condo was fine - basic - OK. But nothing extra. If fluffy pillows are needed for a good night sleep then bring your own. Also bring condiments (nothing in the house like salt, pepper, sugar packets...) and coffee filters. Ways to improve our stay would be : fix the tacks at carpet thresholds as we all got stabbed by them, replace the couch as cushions with springs sticking out, replace the carpet as it is stained and uneven, upgrade the linens and add some soft towels.

Great Place

This is a beautiful resort. We felt very safe and secure. We loved the swimming pools and tiki bar. It's very convenient with the short walk to Pier Park. The room was very nice and everything worked great.

Location great bike rally week was no rest for a relaxing time!

Check the dates to ensure that you are getting a vacation of relaxation. The unit had roaches which I have stayed before and I have never had that problem so not sure

Fabulous Beach Vacation

The views were spectacular! The apartment is also comfortable. The kitchen could use a few more things for those who like to cook while on vacation and I needed cushions on the patio chairs. But everything else was awesome!

Not very clean

Mildewed shower curtain, mold around caulking on shower, heavy dust around air vents, food finger prints on cabinets, spilt remains on side refrigerator, glass table w streaks, ceiling peeling/falling off in hallway shower, several serving utensils broken, no small pot for stove. View was beautiful and bed was comfortable.

Had fun

The condo was very nice and super clean.

The condo was very nice and super clean. The fire alarm started beeping with a low battery and someone came to fix it within 30 minutes of placing the call. We were there during the Tropical Storm Alberto and at times it got extremely windy but the staff at Calypso was very helpful during these times. Thank you!
