THINGS TO KNOW
While the property management company provides an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through your first day, we do not replenish them. Please make sure to bring these additional items to get you through your vacation.
No smoking or vaping is permitted at the property (including on porches, decks, or other outdoor areas) at any time. Fines of $250.00 will be issued if this rule is not respected.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Our weekend

This is a very nice place, the staff is very friendly. The only complaint we had was the poolside bathroom needs rubber mats. It becomes a skating rink when wet feet that floor.

Disappointed

Elevators were slow and always full making it hard to get your things to your room. The pool was closed and I was not notified as well as things broken in the room. Some normal wear and tear but the recliner being broken only left the couch or a stool to sit on. Ive been going to the ocean yearly sometimes twice a year since I was a kid and this visit was the most disappointing. Any issues you have will not be corrected only discussed. Money wasted and I'm even more bothered that this is the first time I've ever left a bad review. On the plus side the appliances are nice and new.

Beautiful view

The view was beautiful. The unit itself well, the carpet needs to be cleaned or removed, smelt musty, couch needs replaced, recliner doesn't work. The kitchen well needs new pots and pans nonstick skillet was rusty couldn't use. The dishes are chipped. The water pressure in master bathroom while using shower is bad. The baseboards are filthy. Will not be staying in this unit again. Love Sterling Reef.

Horrible condo....great view and location

The condo at 1506 Sterling Reef was in a great location and had a wonderful view of the beach, gulf and pier. My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there despite the fact that the condo itself is in various stages of disrepair. One of the main reasons we choose that unit is the recliner…that was a necessity for one of us due to back/knee/shoulder issues that precludes her from sleeping in a standard bed. The motor did not work and I was told it had not worked for well over a year! The toaster didn’t work, the microwave door frame is taped together, there was no door handle/lock on the master bedroom door leading to the balcony. Thankfully we were on the 15th floor so it was not a huge deal. Several of the floor lamps did not work, the fan in the master bath also did not work. Lastly, the carpet was disgusting…matted and stained. It felt like it had been cleaned and left wet. Our feet were black from walking barefoot so shoes or socks were worn at all times. If you look at the pictures on the website you will notice pillows on the couch…strategically placed because the cushions are missing most of the buttons. Very clever photography. You might want to bring extra toilet paper also…each bathroom gets one roll. The good news is the front desk folks were great. They did manage to get a working recliner for us but it was manual which makes it hard to sleep in but did enable us to use it. The door handle/lock issue was also remedied in just a few hours. Again, great location and view, awful unit. Renter beware!!

Nice views, kind of dirty place

My kids loved the stay here, as did my friends. My complaint is for the price I paid I felt it could be cleaner. The carpet was stained in multiple places and dirty, the master restroom had mold on the ceiling and mildew on the shower curtain. The sleeper sofa mattress had multiple stains on it, the kids slept on the floor for the week rather than it. I tried to find a receptionist several times and when I did they said I'd need to speak with a representative with Vacasa as they did not lease the unit I stayed in. I did not know multiple owners rented out units here. I have stayed in much cleaner places that were half the price. Not sure I'll return here again
