Our family spent a wonderful month in Sag Harbor. We enjoyed this charming house decorated with taste and care, together with all the modern technology and appliances. Our hosts were most gracious and attentive.
This is our second year renting this beautifully decorated historic home in the Sag Harbor Village. It is a wonderful place to stay and the hosts could not be more gracious and responsive. We could not be happier!
My husband and teenage son and I were so impressed by the care and attention the hosts took in making us feel welcomed. It’s a beautiful in-town antique home convenient to all things Sag Harbor! They e thought of everything and the home is kept in pristine condition. Stunning setting and super friendly hosts!
209 Main is just a fabulous house. The decor is so beautiful and special. The proximity to the village is perfect and makes it so easy to stroll in to town for dinner, shopping and coffee.
We loved every minute!!
This was our third stay in this beautiful home in the heart of Sag Harbor Village. Steve and Kyle are the most gracious hosts, very responsive and attentive to our needs. They keep making improvements inside and outside the house and it gets better every year! Highly recommend it!
The property is beyond beautiful and the location is amazing! The house is beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable! It completely updated from the interior design to AC, entertainment systems and wifi. And the landscaping is amazing! It's location within a block of Sag Harbor Village makes it the perfect Hamptoms vacation house. We couldn't have picked a better spot.
We stayed at the house over Christmas week and it was perfect. The house is warm, very well designed and feels like an escape, even though it is a short walk to town - our kids loved it! Hosts were friendly, very well organized and responsive. We’d happily return.
We had an absolutely incredible stay in Sag Harbor! It was a dream fall getaway, and even though the weather was rainy we loved staying in and feeling cozy “at home.” The house was so well appointed, way above and beyond our expectations. The owners were so responsive and accommodating. I cannot wait to go back and stay at this property again!
From the moment I entered the house I knew I was someplace very special and unique. Although the home is more than 200 years old, it has been painstakingly modernized and yet retains the charm of the old wood floors, beams and doors. Each room is beautifully decorated. The artwork is versatile, original art and reflects the owners’ great varied taste. The furniture is very comfortable and welcomes you to relax and enjoy each view. The bedrooms are large, decorated in various stlyes using old pieces with modern bedding for great nights’ sleep. The doors to each room is old and charming. Plenty of closets and dressers are in each room.
The bonus media room blows you away on the third floor. A huge TV with a plush comfy sofa is a great way to watch a film or TV show. There’s room to sleep on this large sectional as well.
Outside is a gift of plantings, sculptures, koi pond and a huge pool with beautiful tiles. The lounge furnitures is cozy and charming. A pergola with a beautiful run dripping with greens and flowers is a centerpiece.
It feels like being in a European country in the gated backyard.
It is a retreat.
The owners are so thoughtful and care about your experience in their home. They are very attentive to any need or question. Lovely people.
Walk to town. Shop or just walk to a beach and marina. Walk by the Whaler’s museum, Customs house and other historical sites along the three block walk. Cute shops and lots of great restaurant are all within another three blocks. Plenty of seafood but also international foods from all over the world. Plenty of donuts or organic food shops to choose from.
Easy 20 minute drives to the other Hamptons and Long Beach.
I loved this home. It felt like mine for two and a half weeks.
There are easy walks to ponds and playgrounds with many tennis courts.
One of the best experiences I ever had in the a East End.
Sag a Harbor is more low key and yet there is a charm and sophistication to go along with it.
Definitely a favorite special home to treat yourself to.
As a painter, the inspirations were endless.
Thank you for the opportunity to be in your home.
Owners were great automatic text responses. House was beautiful and super clean. No problems at all with stay. Each floor has its own thermostat. We stayed with young kids and grandparents. Smart tvs for kids shows. All the needed amenities. Two minute walk into town. Really really great house!
We had a wonderful two weeks stay here on Main Street in Sag Harbor. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and gracious. You can tell how much love and pride has gone into their home. The house is charming, beautiful and yet modern with many perks and just a short walk into town. We absolutely loved it and plan on coming back soon!
Kyle and Steven,
We had a wonderful family Labor Day vacation in Sag!
Your home is so special. We enjoyed our mornings with coffee and lite bites around your beautiful breakfast table, we loved sitting by the gorgeous pool for lunch ( we used plastic so no worries), and evenings were quiet and comfy on your big green gorgeous sectional!
Thank you for making everything so easy and welcoming.
We look forward to a return visit!!!
All the best,
The
This house was perfect for us in every way. The decor is exquisite and the property so relaxing even though it’s right in town- complete with serene and quite large hidden pool. The location was second to none for walking to Main Street- very close but just far enough away. The owners could not have been sweeter or more responsive. They love their home and you can feel it in every detail, though it S not fussy. My family would come back in a heartbeat, with great pleasure.
We stayed for two weeks in aug and it was perfect. The house is perfectly located a min or two walk from town. We walked everywhere for coffee drinks dinner and beach. Quick 7 min uber to Bridgehampton as well. House itself is a perfect old captains house updated with central ac Sonos and anything else you would want. One of the bigger more private lots in town as well. Would stay there again no doubt.
My family rented this property for a week. It was beautifully renovated, clean and in an amazing location, 3 minutes walk to town.
