There is a sep bedroom with large closet, full bath with shower over tub, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, plus open concept living/dining rm. Besides easy access to Stanford, California Av restaurants, shopping & train station are within walking distance, as is Stanford Research Park & even a movie theatre. Downtown University Ave is a short drive or ride away on Stanford's free bus the Margarite (bus stop 1 1/2 blks away). Close to major travel arteries (Page Mill Rd, 280, 101, El Camino Real) this location makes getting to the City, SFO or all of Silicon Valley easy & uncomplicated.

As Advertised

The rental was pretty much as described and was a great option for a single traveler. One small complaint is that the WiFi was not very strong. Additionally, the property has lots of vegetation which can attract bugs. So if you have a fear of spiders or other bugs, including in the rental, may not be a great option.

High-charm, low-key retreat

We had concert tickets at Stanford and found two nights in this charming cottage to be just what we needed. It is quite cozy, but it was great for the two of us. The kitchen was fully functional — we made breakfast both days. The bed was comfortable and it’s clear the hosts put a lot of thought into the form and function of the space. We enjoyed the garden setting amongst the Redwoods — the skylights bring in lovely light and views of those redwoods. There were so many lovely details inside and out in this property. We hope to return one day.

Cozy Cottage near Stanford Campus

Cute and Cozy and closer to the main campus than any hotel. We were there for my reunion and this was perfect. We could walk if we wanted to.

Beautiful oasis

It was such a tranquil stay at this little cottage. It was so quiet, I appreciated that coming from a more metropolitan area. The property managers provide everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Cute cottage in a lush garden

Lovely getaway in a beautiful small backyard filled with flowering plants. Very comfortable space, really liked the way it felt. Bed was good. Erika was very nice and helpful with personal family issues we had during our stay.

Cabin in a forest in the city

This small home is just lovely. Modestly decorated but with everything you need. The garden is a big highlight! So many interesting plants, all flowering this time of year… it really takes you out of the hustle of Silicon Valley traffic. Plenty of street parking, too. Perfect for one person, or two who don’t mind snuggling up.

Nice spot central to peninsula

Cute little cottage in a nice back garden. Perfect for one person or a couple. Very close to Stanford and convenient to the area with easy access to freeways.

The property was very cute and just what we needed. A little further from Stanford Stadium than we would have liked, but we had never been to Palo Alto before, so we didn’t know the area. Great neighborhood and beautiful. plants and big redwoods around the property.

Stanford visit

My daughter and stayed at Theo and Erica’s while in town looking at apartment rentals. The neighborhood was great for its proximity to Stanford campus and trails leading to the Dish. The cottage is comfortable and well stocked with kitchenware and basic supplies like coffee, sugar, spices, and soaps. It’s in a beautiful garden with two redwoods beside it.

Quiet cottage in convenient location

Our stay was pleasant--comfortable bed, quiet, easy parking. Very kind owners who always responded to questions quickly. I think the cottage would be ideal for one guest but we managed with two. My only suggestion for the owners is to make more shelf space available in the bathroom. and to have the housekeepers dust the bedroom. Otherwise, thank you for a nice stay!

Absolutely the perfect place for us when we come to Palo Alto!

We love this back yard location and it's so close to our daughter. The garden is beautiful. The homeowner is always so easy to work with.

Delightful cozy cottage

I loved the convenient location close to Stanford and also The Dish hiking area. Easy walking distance. The cottage was delightful and included everything needed for a lovely getaway and visit with family. I’ll definitely book here the next time I’m visiting.
