We enjoyed hiking to Catamount Falls several times. We walked up to The Pantry for creekside breakfast. Enjoyed the close proximity to Woodland Park, Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. The house is in a great location and met our needs for a week.
Our family had the BEST stay. This home fit our family of 6 perfectly. It was in a great location to all the things we wanted to experience. Sitting outside and hearing the nearby waterfall and tranquility of the mountains was so peaceful. We can’t wait to come back!
The Host was also SO gracious and returned an item that we left behind.
Beautiful views and fantastic location! Very close to trail, hot tub is great after a day of hiking and rafting. Well maintained and lots of space - we loved it! Hope to come back soon!
This is your typical small town mountain cabin. The location is fantastic, quiet and right near hiking trails. It was great having the hot tub on the deck. Fairly well stocked, you'll have everything you need. Easy access to the freeway. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Nothing fancy but great for a quiet, small town mountain getaway.
This property is in a great location with access to a main waterfall hike. It was very clean, nicely organized, and had great amenities (blender, salad spinner, etc). They had everything you need! Carpets are well loved but overall it is a good value. Hot tub was great on the deck for viewing the star! David was a great host and very responsive.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was in a great location. It was clean and had everything we needed for our family of 4. The views from the cabin are beautiful. Also the cute little town of Green Mountain Falls is a short walk from the cabin. The cabin is also a short walk from one of the beautiful Waterfalls. David was very nice. We had issues with the front door lock, but David was quick to respond to our call and fixed issue quickly.
My favorite part was the hot tub. It was great to relax in after a day of hiking. The view of the mointains are amazing. It is a centally located community, close to all kinds of activities. My only suggestion would be to up grade matresses. The king matress was very firm and difficult to sleep on.
Nice property, clean, well maintained. Needs better heating in living room when outdoor temp drops. I'd also suggest putting hinges on breaker box so door doesn't drop off when access is required to reset breaker. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with just a couple of small hiccups.

New Years Eve
We had a large group which there were enough beds to accommodate everyone. For this time of year we would pick another place only because of heat control. It was very cold in one area and extremely hot in another. There also needs to be more blankets for this time of year. The only other thing was it would be nice to have hand soap in the bathrooms.
Overall we enjoyed the stay and being with family.
The location was perfect to get us off the beaten path, yet still close to civilization. Had a couple eating establishments nearby we enjoyed without having to drive very far. Walking trails right up the road and a little park with a pond down by the restaurants. The cabin itself was perfect for our group of 5. We so enjoyed the hot tub every evening/late afternoon after hiking. It was also great to use on a couple of the chilly mornings! The upper deck was great for coffee drinking in the morning and watching the deer walk by behind the property. We mostly cooked our meals at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The grill was nice to have as well! The upstairs bathroom didn’t have a shower but a jet tub instead. We read that in advance though and wasn’t a big deal for our group as half showered at night and half in the morning. No a/c, but again, we read that in advance. Plenty of windows to open upstairs and the owners have a few fans there as well so by bedtime the upstairs was a comfortable temperature for sleeping. The main level never did get hot.
From the start everything worked out great. The small town was just down the street from the house. And the Walmart was about 5 minutes from the house. Our kids were so happy with this house as well.
Everything was phenomenal except for the mishap with the fire alarms. The owner was very fast at communicating and helping us solve the problem. The only other thing was the oven was touchy, but other than that a great place!
Great upstairs deck with hot tub. Downstairs bedroom was good for my elderly mother and the rest of us had the upstairs. Second time we’ve stayed there, we will be back. David was very responsive.
This is a nice property for families with small children. It was clean with plenty of towels. There were no small breakable items to pick up before setting my toddler loose in the house. There were lots of night lights to light the way to the bathroom.
We had an awesome weekend in Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs! Staying here was great - away from the busy city but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We appreciated everything it provided for us from the night lights, kitchen necessities, and view - it was perfect for our family and we’d stay here again!
Our large family really enjoyed this location (very close to some great hiking). Owners were quick to respond to questions and we found the place clean and easy to use, and so enjoyed the spa!
