Villa with great location and view but not good accommodations.
The villa has easy 25 steps from the street level which was very important for us not young people. Great location: easy few minutes walk to grocery store, restaurant, local bus stop that can take you to the beautiful beach and bus to Positano are across the street ; not difficult 10-15 minutes walk down the hill to the bus stop to Amalfi, Sorrento. The terrace and view are beautiful.
But the villa has some problems: the layout of the rooms is not comfortable. Bedroom 1 doesn’t have windows and if you need to go to kitchen or living room you have to go through two other bedrooms or go outside of the house using hallway and enter kitchen from the terrace . Also this bedroom doesn’t have internet service. Bedroom 2 doesn’t have bathroom adjacent to it. You have to use bathroom in living room and to reach it or reach kitchen and living room you have to go through bedroom 3. As a result Bedroom 3 doesn’t have privacy. This layout really uncomfortable in case of 3 different families. The hot water is a real problem. During our 2 weeks stay I was able to have hot shower only 2 times and it lasts for max 10 minutes . In the kitchen we never had hot water . Toaster didn’t work. The host gave us one big and one small towel per person for the whole week. Which is definitely not enough.
Also not enough supply of toilet paper and you have to buy laundry detergent. It was not supplied at all. TV didn’t work. No coffee machine.
And unfortunately the host was not very pleasant and welcomed person. I called him with questions next day after check in and he never got back to me.
