The rental is unique in the sense that it surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest and you must travel on Forest Service Road to get here. So you don't want to come in a low clearance vehicle. The lower level rental opens up to deck where the creek is 180 degree of beautiful Tipton Creek rushing by 24/7. A pond is also on the property and offers a "fish house" for hanging out, camp fires, picnics, etc. In good weather and barring any burn bands there are two places for camp fires. There is some camp fire wood available but you might want to bring your own if you want to burn a lot. This rental is the lower level of my private home where the privacy of our guest is of the upmost priority. It is a full size living space with two "daylight" sides that offer plenty of light into its decor. Guest have their own private entrance and may request no contact arrival and departure with the home owner. Homeowner is always available by text.

Clean, well - stocked. Owner very helpful. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, secluded, creek was very relaxing. Everything was in working order. I WOULD BOOK AGAIN.
Great place to disconnect and enjoy the simpler things in life.
The place was super clean and well furnished. Great place to just get away from it all. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch at night listening to the creek that runs through the property. Super relaxing and look forward to going back one day.
Do recommend driving something other than a low sports car as there are a few spots on the road that require a little more ground clearance. Also recommend picking up enough food for your stay as its about 1.25 hr round trip to get town but dont let that be a factor. Its a great place to stay and the host is very helpful.
This was my husband and my third time staying at Beverly’s place. It’s so peaceful and relaxing however we decided to bring our three grandkids this visit. We found lots of activities in the area they loved. (Fires Creek and Indian Boundary). As much as they enjoyed the outings, they were always ready to get back to play in the creek. It’s safe to say you won’t find a better host than Beverly, always going the extra steps to ensure you have anything you may need.
Beverly's Friendtal is fabulous. Beautiful river/creek, pond, games, relaxation. There is so much to do and see in the surrounding area or just relax on the huge porch or by the water. Highly recommended. Beverly is a wonderful host and makes sure you have everything you need. Can't wait for my third stay!
Took my dad here for an extended weekend and didn’t want to leave. A slice of heaven, just a stones throw from the NC/TN state line. If you want seclusion, look no further. A true “off the beaten path” experience. The rushing creek, pond, the fire pit and sounds of nature. Get the breakfast too, you won’t be disappointed!
We had an absolutely amazing time! Beverly was so warm and welcoming and made sure we had what we needed! She even helped me out with a little bit of laundry I needed done! I can’t wait to return! This was just the escape we needed
It was my birthday weekend so I told my husband I wanted to get away from the everyday hustling bustle of the city we live in.
So I began to search and I stumbled upon Beverly's rental. I love the area I'm from Lenoir the foothills of the mountains so I'm familiar with mountains and how beautiful it is this time of year. But I've never rented out a place to stay in the mountains. I am so glad I decided to take a chance with this rental. Beverly was a gracious host. Her house was very neat, clean and decorated very pretty and seasonal. Everything was there that we needed. Her outside was truly amazing so beautiful. It looks exactly like it does in the pictures but even better in person. The weather was perfect. The only thing that I would change would she needs to mention that it is a very Rocky unpaved road to get to the property so my car really took a good beating and got very dirty LOL. Next time we will plan to drive my husband's pickup truck other than that the scenery coming up was so gorgeous. We will definitely refer this to our friends and family. A beautiful birthday weekend I will never forget thanks Beverly for opening up your beautiful home to us.
The location is spectacular...creek, tall trees, quiet community and a super nice host. It IS off the beaten path but such a lovely place that my 82 year old Mom, wants to return in June to celebrate her birthday. I had a family and friends rotation of guests coming to celebrate with me and Beverly was very accommodating...
WE will be returning for other family celebration s.
Oh my gosh we so enjoyed our stay! We wanted to be as close to the tellico River and had originally planned to camp but the weather wouldn’t allow it. I found Beverly’s place and knew it was going to be great! It exceeded our expectations and couldn’t have been any better. Our 14 year old wasn’t super happy when we told him there wouldn’t be any internet but he not only survived but THRIVED! It forced him to get outside with us and fish, make a fire and chase his sister around the property. The creek is gorgeous and so relaxing. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything plus some. Beverly was super kind and made our arrival super easy. We are already planning our next trip back! Book now!!!!
If you are looking for peace and serenity away from the hustle and bustle of every day life this is the getaway for You! Beverly was a fantastic host and made me feel very welcome and was available at any time. I can't wait to go back!!!
This was the perfect getaway! No cell phone service and away from all of the city noise, which was just what I wanted. The home was clean, spacious and had all the basics. The property was gorgeous, loved the creek flowing through the yard next to the fire pit. The hammock was probably my favorite, so relaxing listening to the creek flow. Beverly, thank you for sharing your home! Will definitely be returning.
Absolutely perfect! Spacious accomodations. The surroundings are spectacular and remote, however you'll have everything you need except cell and WiFi. Great place to drop out. We would return. Thank you Beverly for creating the perfect space!

This location is great if you want to get away from everyone. It's in a small, tight community out in the mountains. There's an awesome creek right behind the property. All in all it's an awesome stay and the host is very attentive and great at communicating. I will be coming back.
I can’t speak highly enough about Miss Beverly and her property. It truly is paradise on Earth. I love how secluded and quaint it is. If you’re looking for an amazing getaway from the real world, Ms Bev’s cabin is the place to be. Off the grid, beautiful creeks running through the property, a fishing pond, bridges to cross over creeks, and a fire pit you can cook on out back behind her wrap around deck with hammocks, chairs etc. Full kitchen, plenty of sleeping space for a family, directv for those who like to watch. I can’t imagine anywhere else I’d rather be. If you like being off the grid w those you love most, this is the place to be! Thanks Ms Beverly, we love you to pieces and truly enjoy our time at your cabin when we visit. —Heather, Lexie and Curt.

Property was perfect...inside and out. Spacious and clean. Beautiful mountain site.
If you are like us, wanting to get away or experience something new then this is the place. We were excited that it wasn't something you could find on google maps and that it didn't offer wifi, who needs another generic vacation where everyone sits on their phones? Not us! The host has thought over literally everything you could possibly need and has the best recommendations for sigh seeing. It's spotless and cozy, and the water is incredible! Growing up in the mountains in Oregon I haven't had water that fresh and cold in a long time. It may be a weird highlight but it was a very pleasant surprise.
10 out of 10 we will be back. Like we are already planning to book another trip.
And Beverly, brought us cinnamon buns in the morning as if it needed to get any better! She made sure that it was. Thank you Beverly for your hospitality and kindness.
This has been the best vbro experience we have ever had.

Why they chose this property
I knew I had to be here the first time I ever visited. It's private yet I have many friends here. The property itself has beautiful Tipton Creek rolling right outside our door. Its peaceful and calm here. My motto I stole from an ole friend is, Welcome to my World!
What makes this property unique
It really is peaceful here. The mountain air is good for the soul! I have the best tasting water ever. You can sit on the deck, or lay in the hammock or fish right outside the door for small brook trout if you like. Star gazing is phenomenal on a clear night. On occasion we have native wildlife visits. Wild turkeys, grouse, king fishers, my dreaded woodpeckers, hummingbirds, fish, owl, and at times an eagle can be sighted. On a rare occasion you might see a deer, bear or wild boar. The good news is they are always on the run... away from us! If you could stand a few days away from chaos of every day stress, this is your place. It really is my oasis. Maybe yours too?
