Nola spring trip

The home was lovely and located near everything and we walked thru the neighborhood and found art stores and a jamaican restaurant and loved waking up to sit on the porch

Dirty house with foundation issues

Maxine was lovely and helpful before and during our stay. The house is in terrible shape, and we genuinely wondered whether it should be condemned. The floors lean severely, the doors stick, and the house hasn't been deep-cleaned in years. The beds were clean, so we stayed, but otherwise the condition of the house is very bad. The house smells dirty, you can see dirt in all the corners and along all the baseboards and in the bathroom. The house has no hallways, so no privacy for anyone (to get to the kitchen or bathroom, you have to walk through all the bedrooms). We didn't complain while we were there because these are very long-term problems that couldn't be resolved quickly. The "fully equipped" kitchen didn't have a can opener or corkscrew, and one of the bedrooms had one bed instead of two as described. This house is very cheap relative to other rentals. Spend the money to stay somewhere better. I have photos showing all of this but don't see how to add those here.

Great place for a family to stay!

Two of my kids and I stayed here for several days. We were so happy with the accommodations - everything was very clean and comfortable. There was so much room, and it was so easy to find parking. The host was so accommodating with our covid-related date changes, and was so easy to get in touch with. 10 out of 10, we would stay here again!!

Weekend away

The property was very clean, location was decent and quiet, we had fun exploring the city and catching the festival/show. Our only complaint were the beds, it seems like it is time to replace the mattresses as they were not comfortable.

Great location

Maxine was easy to communicate with and provided many things that others may forget. Angel was awesome as well. She responded quickly when we needed something. I appreciate them letting us stay in their home. The location is great because it is close to many things!

Great place to sleep while visiting NoLA

Maxine is a very responsive host and her place is exactly as described—lots of rooms, lots of beds. If you’re looking for bath soaps and lace doilies, this isn’t for you; but if you want to sleep comfortably while visiting, it’s perfect.

Perfect location to sample the City

A clean simple home that shows the love the owners have for the City & this Neighborhood. All 4 beds are comfy & new . Location at the end of the St Charles Streetcar line makes it easy to access nearly all attractions. Grocery & drugstore across street are great resources. Both owners & neighbors( this is a side by side duplex) were friendly As 4 female travelers we felt safe and welcomed. Would rent again with friends or family.

Not what expected

The water was not working in the house and there were multiple roaches which we had to kill. Everything looks so old and dusty.

Handy-Dandy

This quaint shotgun-style house fit our needs for a business trip. The owner answers questions quickly. Thankfully, there were heaters because the weather didn't know what it was going to do. Bring earplugs for sleeping because you are on a busy street, unless you are in the back bedrooms. The streetcar and bus stations are close by and cheap.
