Located atop one of the highest privately owned mountains in North Georgia, this 2 king bedroom 2 bath Sliding Rock Cabin in Ellijay, GA cabin offers BREATHTAKING VIEWS of miles and miles of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hike the National Forest Service hiking trail, with a lovely waterfall. Afterwards soak in the hot tub under a star filled sky, so private that bathing suits are optional. In the morning gaze out over the blue sky, while sipping freshly ground coffee on your private enclave off the loft master bedroom, or just rock your day away on the covered porch. At night, cuddle in front of the large wood burning fireplace with a glass of wine and watch at old movie. For those who want to get away from the stress of life, Nativa is definitely your place. This property has a generator for your comfort when Mother Nature is fiesty. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

PLEASE NOTE: AWD VEHICLE RECOMMENDED, minimally if you drive a front wheel drive vehicle, gravel mountain driving experience required.

In rural Georgia, power outages are frequent! Our cabin has a full house generator which provides all the comforts of "home" should the area experience a power outage during your stay.

We encourage you to protect your vacation investment with a travel insurance of your choice.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. View is everything.

We loved this cabin. The drive up and down the mountain is pretty steep and bumpy takes about 12 ish minutes up and down.considering it’s a dog friendly cabin, they clean very well and love they provide the sheets to cover any furniture. My only complaints were small things they need to do for maintenance like the blind sticks missing, the recliner is on its last leg and there’s most likely mold in bathroom downstairs that should be addressed. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cabin!!

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is adorable! We relaxed on the porch swing, spent time in the hot tub and did some antiquing in town. One of the most important things to us is that the cabin was very clean! We will definitely be back!

We loved our time at Nativa! Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, comfortable beds, and a hot tub! Got lots of great pics, wish I could share more than one! The drive to the cabin wasn't easy with our car and directions were somewhat confusing, but once we found it, we loved it.

The view is probably the most beautiful we have had, and we have stayed at several other Sliding Rock cabins. The road up to the cabin is a little rough, but the directions were excellent and even though it rained the entire time, we had no problems getting to and from the cabin. My only suggestion would be a little more light inside the cabin would be helpful. It was almost impossible to read in the evening. The upstairs bed was very comfortable, and overall it was an excellent experience. Don’t hesitate to visit Nativa!

But once your there it was perfect. I loved the big tv to watch sports, and the RECLINER!! Sat by the window every day and read!!

Outstanding

We brought a Christmas tree, battery operated candles, wreaths, and lights. After decorating, it felt like staying in a Christmas card. The bed was very comfortable, and the heater worked very fast. There was a meteor shower during our stay that we watched from the hot tub, which was an amazing experience. The only thing we could’ve complained about is that the hot tub cover, and that part of the deck were covered in bird droppings, not just a little, but so much we wore gloves to remove the cover, and stepped directly from shoes into the tub. I tried to clean the cover, but the droppings were too dried on to clean without soaking.

If you know the road to the cabin is bad and you’re prepared to either endure it or bring enough food for your entire stay, you will enjoy this cabin. If you are expecting a large fenced area for your dogs you will be disappointed. Also, don’t expect to take walks on the road. Way to steep. Great place for quiet and seclusion.

Reviewer Comments: Loved the cabin..beautiful views...The road up was awful..we drive a fwd suv that had traction issues and was beat to death by the condition of the road..love mtn views but had we known the condition of the road we would never have booked this cabin...you should advise future renters of the need for a 4wd or awd vehicle to access this cabin..we will rent again only when we clearly have access information...tks
