Incredible in everyway. The cottage is a masterpiece, Nice chatting with people passing by on the lake. An hour from the coast. Local area is beautiful. We will return again.
This is a wonderful property. The camp is lovely. The lake is quiet, with a loon family visiting twice a day. The owner is very responsive to questions and helped quickly when there was a minor problem. The location is central to the capital area as well as the entire midcoast region. We had a terrific stay and look forward to returning next summer.
House very well remodeled so both quaint with modern amenities. Loved the upstairs bedroom facing the lake & loved the nooks & crannies in that bedroom....( both the moon reflecting off the lake & the pinks & oranges of the reflection of sunrise were spectcular). Negatives...Parking wasn't ideal nor was the house next door that was badly neglected. However, we enjoyed the loons and chipmonks.....all in all a great vacation & Mike was very accomodating. Thanks Mike
Well equipped property that is completely renovated. Great views of the lake to relax to. The only downside was during our stay it got really hot and humid which is not typical of Maine making for a few uncomfortable nights without AC.
This cabin is incredibly peaceful—everything you need is in its place, the views of the pond (more like a lake!) are beautiful, and there are few others around. Swim off the dock, watch the sunrise over the lake from the bedroom, and eat breakfast or read from the chairs by the lakeshore. The cabin is about an hour from most places of interest (for us :)) like Belfast, Camden, and Portland, though Waterville is about 15 minutes away. This cabin is relaxing and well-appointed, perfect for a getaway. Mike was communicative and an amazing host. We loved it and highly recommend it!
This rental exceeded all of our expectations. The house was extremely clean and well stocked - everything you needed and more. The little things made us feel so welcome - s’mores supplies, blankets, extra towels, etc. Webber pond was the most perfect summer stay. The water was beautiful and fishing was great. Being centrally located allowed us to travel to Bar Harbor, Portland and Rockland. Mike was extremely response and a great host. We will definitely be returning!
We stayed at the property on the lake in mid June of 2021 and had a great stay overall.
The only downside was that the first part of our trip coincided with a rare heat wave (upper 80s low 90s) for that time of year. We were fine most of the day since we spent a lot of time at the coast sightseeing and exploring, but the nights were way too hot on the second floor since the house doesn't have air. We tried opening the windows, but the screen mesh is too large to keep out the small bugs. It's not abnormally large or anything, it is a standard mesh size, but it wasn't small enough. None of this is probably an issue most of the year. We had to buy a couple of extra fans in order to be able to sleep at all upstairs during those first few nights and Mike was kind enough to reimburse us for them. Mike was very responsive to all of our questions throughout our stay.
Overall the place was great and we saw a few loons in front of the house, which was very cool. I also met the neighbors and they were very nice. You definitely won't regret your stay.
We had a marvelous week at the beautiful Webber Pond (looked like a lake) during the fall. It was hard to leave! Everything was pristine, and the home retained the charm of a rustic waterfront cabin while paired with all the modern amenities. The incredible view, dock, fire pit (we made s’mores under the stars), interior fire place/stove, home decor and intricate wood details made you feel home in Maine. The washer & dryer, dishwasher, all the kitchen appliances you need, tv with Netflix, fast air and water heat, dimming light switches, along with comfortable bed and spa like bathtub really made it feel like we lived there. WiFi was excellent as I had to WFH that week while my boyfriend was able to fully relax on his vacation.
The location is perfect too because we started the week in Acadia and ended it in Ogunquit (with a few days of not leaving the cabin), so we were able to escape to the quiet peaceful mid-point away from touristy action.
Mike was an amazing host, answered all my questions in a timely manner and had very easy to follow instructions. Thank you for such a wonderful week and we look forward to hopefully making your place an annual trip as the cabin was the vacation!
We have a good time, excellent fishing from the dock, relaxing atmosphere, fire near the lake, stars nights, visiting friends and day trip to beautiful Acadia park! Thank you very much Mike for everything!
Yakovleva family.
The cottage was exceptional, very clean with all the amenities. The view of the lake beautiful with the sound of loons an added bonus! Mike was extremely responsive . Highly recommend.
This Cottage is exactly as the photos depict. It was immaculate upon our arrival. The Owner made the check in process very easy. We had a great 4 days here !
Can't say enough great things about this property and the owner. Extremely communicative - shared all information I needed prior to us arriving.
The house is beautifully well done and truly has EVERYTHING you need... and then some!
Even the neighbors were so kind and helpful. Thanks so much.
We will be back!
My family and I were looking for a calm, waterfront property, and this house was exactly what we needed. Beautiful place, amazing view, a perfect escape.
Great spot to unwind and recharge. We paddled, fished, hiked, and bird watched (bald eagles, pileated woodpeckers, great blue herons, and loons, of course!) Cooked every meal in the well-appointed kitchen. Loved the house. Mike was very responsive to every question, and check in was a cinch. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay on Webber Pond. Mike was responsive to all of our questions and the house was perfect. We spent our days fishing, swimming, and kayaking. It was a peaceful and relaxing getaway that was much needed!
The check in process and booking were incredibly easy, the cabin was everything I could have asked for and more very clean and had everything I needed and more!
