Welcome to the Mermaid Cottage! This beautiful home is one of three cottages situated on one property known as The Compound. Located 2 blocks and a short 1500' from the scenic beaches of St. Simons Island and steps to restaurants and shopping, the Mermaid Cottage is a 3 bedroom 1-1/2 bathroom home which has been updated perfectly for you and your group!

This charmingly remodeled cottage built in 1937 will wow you from the moment you step inside! The fully stocked galley style kitchen has been updated with custom kitchen cabinetry, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen even offers a breakfast/coffee table for two. From the Kitchen, step outside to the screened porch which has a outdoor dining set with seating for six. Get cozy in the ample sized living room featuring exposed wood beams, tongue and groove ceiling, HD cable TV and a fireplace. Guests of the Mermaid Cottage will be treated to three comfortable bedrooms featuring HD cable TV's in each bedroom.  After a long day at the beach or a beach walk, wash down in the private outdoor shower.

This home shares access to the on property 800 square foot (40'x20') swimming pool, regulation size sand volleyball court, 8 pin putting green and children's playground swing and slide set. These amenities are shared amenities with the other two cottages on The Compound property.

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants. Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc are not permitted.
