Family ski weekend

Stayed a couple nights for a ski weekend at Steven’s Pass.We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working as it was a standout feature in the listing. We also could not get the dish washer to run, which was difficult with 6 people in the house

Great views but dirty

This was a mini getaway with my husband. Before even booking I reached out to insure the fireplace and hot tub were functional as those were the must haves before we booked. I was guaranteed both were operational. Upon first opening the door it reeked of dog pee and was freezing. All the thermostats had been turned down to off . So we immediately turned them on and tried to get the fireplace going. My husband tried for several minutes before resulting to call the local support person. He said “oh that hasn’t been operational for 2 months.” Then after a few minutes we tried to turn the tv on and realized there was no power to that wall. My husband looked everywhere for an electrical panel, couldn’t find it so we had to call the support person back again. It was hidden behind a mirror in the living room. Further inspection we noticed the dustballs, dog hair, dirt and debris. Clearly no sweeping had been done. The next night we went to go bbq our steaks and realized the propane tank was empty and someone had put firewood and paper towels inside the bbq?! For the price we paid, this is unacceptable. In the very least someone should be checking on the cleaning and refilling propane tanks etc before new guests arrive . The view was stunning and the hot tub was great. Aside from that, the inconveniences, lack of cleanliness and high cost for 2 nights, we would not return.

Not cleaned between guests. Property run-down.

We arrived late in the evening and had trouble getting the door unlocked because there were no exterior lights at all. Upon entry, we discovered the property had not been cleaned at all between guests. Wet, visibly dirty towels on the bedroom floor, bed unmade, trash in kitchen & bathroom, dirty dishes in the sink, etc. We had to strip the bed, remake it with clean linens and put a load of towels in the washer so we could have clean towels for showers in the morning. The kitchen was described as being ready for cooking, but we found that the pans had flaking nonstick coating and there were literally only 4 spoons & forks so we had to do dishes after each meal. There’s a gaping hole rotten out of the deck at the entry and I worry that someone will hurt themselves stepping into the hole upon entry in the dark. On the plus side, the neighborhood is quiet, views are lovely and there’s a very nice walk to the river. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi worked well. We did reach out right away when we arrived and found that the home hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guests left, and our cleaning fees were refunded.

Beautiful views in a nice private place.

The view from the hot tub was amazing, best I've ever had. A really nice hot tub with a ton of jets 10/10 It's at the end of a street, very private other than some friendly neighborhood dogs who came by to say hi. We had a great time, now we want to move out to the county. Would happily stay again. The only issue we had was that kitchen was not stocked. If you need it to cook, you need to bring it.

Quick little anniversary getaway

Although the weather was unusually cold and wet for mid-June the rest of the stay was lovely. Quiet, private, clean, and cozy. Nice location with great views. Easy access to great hikes and some good food and drink options too. We'd come back and recommend to others.

Great spot in the river front.

The cabin was very close to the river and comfortable for our family. We especially liked the hot tub near the river and sleeping with thr windows cracked to hear the river.

Mountain retreat

If you're thinking about booking just do it! It was everything we needed. Great space with the views of the mountains and sound of the stream. The photos don't show it but you even get two low size peaks out the living room windows.

Cozy and quiet

Perfect place to serve as a hub to visit so many parks. Peaceful place to rest and enjoy nature. The jacuzzi and grill on the deck served us well while watching deer and birds. Inside was nice and warm with plenty of things to do with family.

We loved everything about this property. The listing was accurate but didn’t do the beauty of this space justice. It was breath taking and absolutely stunning. We will be back.

We'll be back!

The view of the river is gorgeous. We saw eagles and many other birds. Its quiet and feels remote even though its only an hour from Seattle. This was our second time renting this cabin and we'll be back. My family and I like how close it is and they accept dogs.

House was ok, amazing views

The house has amazing views so the price was worth it. That being said, there were a few things I wish I had known before booking: 1) This home is not allergen or mold friendly, both myself and my guest were stuffed up and sneezing a lot while in the home. Especially in the main bedroom. We presume it to be from our mold allergies but could’ve also been bad from this being a pet friendly home. 2) The gas fireplace was not operational during our stay so the main living area was very chilly even with the wall heaters on and a second standalone oil heater on. It would’ve been nice to know the main heat source wasn’t working prior to our arrival. 3) The king bed in the main bathroom is very firm and not very comfortable if you are a side sleeper. 4) There was no smoke detector installed in the main living area (there is a spot to plug one in but it was missing). 5) The washer was broken. I would’ve packed differently if I had known the washer was unavailable for use.
