2 Bedroom condo directly across the street from the beach!
Seasonal rental. Lovely 2BR/1.5B townhome right across a little sandy road from the Gulf of Mexico. Screened lanai overlooking Bocilla Lagoon. Enjoy the best of both worlds, lagoon waterfront with great fishing right off dock, and Gulf view and beach access right off driveway. Due to damage from Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the community pool, tennis courts and docks will not be available during 2025.. Sleeps six comfortably. Living room has a pull out sleeper sofa. Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $380, or $38 per round trip. For more information on the ferry, google Palm Island Transit.

This property is amazing. We really enjoyed the location and access to both the ocean and inlet as well as the pool. The place was spacious and very clean. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
For a 2/2 there was ample an ample living area that kept us from being on top of each other and the double bathroom setup with shared shower was fantastic.
Very nice location. Rental was clean and well equipped. The screen room overlooking the lagoon was our favorite spot. The pool is right across the street with the beach just beyond that, we had a wonderful time with our two kids. This island is so unique. We will definitely visit again.
This place is very clean. It’s very basic—no frills here, but it’s a good price. It’s right across the street from a gorgeous beach, which is very convenient. You can dock a boat behind the house, but if you have a high top, make sure you go in and out at low tide. You have to go under two low bridges, and one of them has a stupid cable hanging there. My uncle had to sit there for an hour one day in the rain waiting for the tide to go out so he could go under the bridge to get to us. C’mon. Build some better bridges, Palm Island. You do have to take a ferry over so make sure you have all your stuff before you go on the island. There’s only one restaurant on the Island, and you can only get to it by golf cart. Rent one ahead. You can take a boat to other restaurants in the area. A case of beer and a bag of ice will cost you 43.00 at these marinas. Plan accordingly. They do provide some detergent, trash bags, hand soap and dish detergent. That was nice. A couple of issues—the sliding door to go out on the porch is constantly sticking. The beds ARE HORRIBLE!! They have some sort of cushion they put on top of the king to try to make it bearable. It’s not. My husband slept on the couch because it was so bad. I looked underneath the king. Everything is sagging. The twin beds are just as bad. My hips hurt everyday after sleeping in that bed. We did enjoy our trip despite the beds. There are plenty of towels. The beach makes up for the other issues. But dang. Upgrade those beds!
Fantastic updated/ remodeled cottage that is clean and comfortable. We loved the quiet location right near the state park beach with plenty of unobstructed beach views, privacy and natural wildlife. We will definitely return.
Wonderful and sunny location with a great beach and nice beach. Perfect for an isolated get away from it all, quiet local.
Property upkeep is marginal if not neglected. Only the sunny local kept my rating from being a 2-Star. The queen bed is a disaster and just plain worn out. The charcoal grill was growing mold and not usable. The exterior landscaping needs some plain TLC. The washing machine could not spin dry. My judgment is that this property is a cash cow that needs some reasonable re-investment.
