Come visit this 7 bedroom home in Michigan City with the family. The house has a great open concept that allows you to spend time together in the living room, dining room, and the kitchen. Theres an outdoor porch and closed porch to relax in, the backyard has a grill and pinic table as well as extra chairs to lounge in, and a hot tub. The house is located just 5 minutes away from Washington Park Beach, you can have fun visiting the lake, casino, breweries, wineries or just hang out at the house and cook out and hang in the hot tub.

New Buffalo is 10 minutes away and the Indiana Dunes are 15 minutes from the home.

The hot tub is on during winter too!

First Floor:
Bed 1 - Queen bed with pack and play in the closet for baby and an inflatable twin size bed in the closet
Bed 2 - Queen bed

Second Floor:
Bed 3- Queen Bed and queen size inflatable bed + pack and play for baby in the closet

Big family house
Ideal size and clean as advertised. Our family had enough space and room given the many bedrooms and bathrooms. Hot tub was a plus. Large dining room table allowed us to gather and eat together. Karen was very kind and easy with communication.

Fantastic home
We did another ladies weekend here, and we plan to go back again next year! House is spacious, clean, has everything we need other than the food, and the hot tub was icing on the cake! It is very echoing in the upstairs, if people are downstairs, so just bring a noise machine if that bothers you. We loved our stay here, and plan to make this a yearly trip!

Extended Family Meet-up
We had a total group of 16 (4 separate families) stay and the dining, bedroom, and bathroom spaces were great! Good balance of adequate shared space and separate areas when we needed a little quieter time (or for the teenagers). Only had to reach the house once and Karen responded quickly. Would definitely recommend and are considering a return in the future.

If you are travelling with a big group, this is good house to stay at. We had 5 families with kids and we fit comfortably. The house was clean and has all you need. Host is responsive and very helpful.

Thanksgiving family get away for 4 days was great in this property. Plenty of bed rooms big table. Great stove. We cooked there all 4 days. Has a grill. Very close to outlets. Very happy with your stay!

wonderful house!
This house was wonderful for our family group of 12. The 7 bedrooms meant that everyone could spread out. The table in the dining area is beautiful and can easily accommodate a large group. The neighborhood is quiet and people (like the postal carrier) are very friendly. The house was very clean! We would definitely stay here again.

Great house setup for college friends weekend
We stayed at the house for a long weekend over the July 4th holiday. The house's bedrooms setup worked great for our group made up of 3 families for a total of 11 people (6 adults, 5 teenagers). We had plenty of space for everyone with bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, good living area seating, and a large dining table. Neighborhood was fine and we walked one night to an ice cream shop about a half mile toward the lake. With the holiday weekend, many fireworks were being used until 2 am within the neighborhood. It kept some group members awake until they ended. Overall a great house to spend the weekend and enjoy the surrounding area's offerings like the Indiana Dunes.

FABULOUS AND COMFORTABLE HOUSE!
This is a great house for a large group. Plenty of room to spread around and enjoy. We enjoyed the porch and the yard and hot tub also Close to beach and nice restaurants. Reasonable price too!!! Great communication with Hosts answered immediately if we had a question.

We loved our stay in Michigan City. The house was a great size for our family of 10 adults & 7 kids! The extra stand up freezer/refrigerator was awesome! Hot tub & gas grill worked great! So thankful for a washer/dryer and liquid soap provided that the machine needed. Surrounding beaches and an outlet mall--need I say more?!

The house was nicely updated and accommodating for our large family gathering. We were disappointed however that there were few points of interest within walking distance. One neighbor allowed his dog to bark constantly all night. There was also a problem with ants in one bedroom.

Our family of 10 gathered here for a late Christmas/Easter celebration. The house had more than enough room for us to be comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked, beds are comfortable, games, and the backyard is a nice area. Host answered our question quickly. Enough off street parking for four vehicles. Lots of things to do in the area for all ages. Quiet residential neighborhood.

I am a fellow Illinoisan, I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, I graduated from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, and when I was growing up I would visit the Indiana Dunes, New Buffalo, St. Joseph, and visited many beach towns up on the Lake Michigan coast. I work in the mortgage industry and have a family of 4, as I got older I became very fond of my childhood memories coming to Lake Michigan and enjoying the beach. I hope you enjoy our vacation home and make those same memories our family has made.

Why they chose this property

This home is spacious but also has that family feeling that allows you to spend time together, regardless if you are in the kitchen, dining room, or living room. With so many bedrooms it's easy to accommodate a big family trip on an affordable budget. The home was recently renovated and designed for your comfort.

What makes this property unique

The property is a 5 minute drive from Washington Park Beach, very close to New Buffalo, Indiana Dunes, and not too far from Chicago. The house has a hot tub to relax in, and is great entertainment areas both inside the kitchen and in the backyard. Michigan City is also growing and has very unique eateries. The house is a perfect check point if you're driving in from the city, or if you're visiting from somewhere else and are tempted to drive to Chicago, or up the Michigan coast.
