The views from the cabin were beautiful. The cabin needs some TLC but overall good. It would have been nice to have some board games for the kids. The foosball table didn’t have a ball to play with. Check in process was great. No issues at allThe beds need mattresses replaced especially in the upstairs master bedroom. We enjoyed our family Christmas gathering in Blue Ridge.
We had an amazing time despite the nasty weather! Location was great! We did have a leak and maintenance came to fix. It did start leaking again. But it was a bathroom sink issue. Overall very pleased!!!
The cabin was beautiful. We had plenty of room for our whole family. Plenty of towels for everyone, as well. The upstairs king size bed was very creaky.. Like it needs a new box spring. And we did encounter several large roaches in the cabin while we were there. The outside firepit was great. It would have been nice to have stairs from the outside going down to the firepit. But other than those few things, everything was great.
Our visit to this beautiful home was amazing! Plenty of room for everyone and very cozy! The view was amazing and we loved the adventure every time driving up the curvy scenic roads! Tv reception was spotty but it was ok because we were enjoying time visiting, playing games and being outside! Highly recommend this great home! Thanks for having us!
We enjoyed our stay, especially liked having the separate game room for kids. The living room couch really needs updated as you sink so far into it it becomes difficult to get out. I also would appreciate mattress pads on the beds. Kitchen was nicely stocked with pots and pans. Hot tub was Luke warm but nice.
Nice place. Enjoyed the porch. Most and best pots and pans for cooking we have ever had at a rental. Would have been nice for the kids to have been able to play on the foosball table, no paddles. The air hockey table had no balls with it.
I came with 11 of my closest friends (making 12 of us) for a quick weekend getaway. The fact that everyone had a real bed was exciting. Even the bunks/single in the basement were good enough for medium sized adults to sleep in.
Some of us had to work remotely Friday and the Wi-Fi stood up to us pretty well.
The only “problem” is that there isn’t enough toilet paper if you have 12 people for 3+ nights, so bring your own or be prepared to hop into town and buy some.

The cabin view was beautiful. The cabin itself needs some TLC. The outdoor living area was not clean, there were spiderwebs in the windows, there were no window coverings, no extra blankets for the bed, mold in the main floor bathroom, dishes were dirty that were in the kitchen cabinets, no area for our dog to run, not a working can opener (so important on Thanksgivinng !) and the sheets on the bed was rough and had stains .
This cabin was in a perfect location for viewing the mountain tops. Very clean and spacious. House was in good condition and exactly how it was listed. The only thing missing was the foosball balls and the bumper balls. Maintenance brought us some balls after we can to ask where they were but they ended up bringing ping pong balls instead. Pots and pans
need to be updated. Even just a frying pan was falling a part.
Overall though, I would give it 5 stars.
Rented this house for a family vacation with a group of ten people all ages 18+. House had more than enough bedrooms for our group, kitchen supplies that were provided were sufficient, deck has a good view, and we enjoyed the wraparound porch, deck, and activity room on the lower level. Location was good; however, if renting a vehicle, we would suggest an SUV or truck to navigate the entrance and driveway. A few disappointments include the clear need for property maintenance and updating both inside and out. Inside: Bathrooms on main and lower levels were outdated and dirty (looked like black mold in the shower), there were no mattress covers which revealed stained and dirty mattresses, the trim below the kitchen cabinets was missing, the kitchen island had a front panel that was pushed in, the stove drawer had a bent corner that resulted in a couple of “ouches”, there were spiderwebs everywhere (whatever you do, don’t look up at the hanging light fixtures), and the dining table felt sticky/tacky. Outside: Exterior trim on the house is being invaded by what appear to be large bees that are eating the wood exterior (wood shavings found in piles on the floor of the deck and porch) and the shaky deck railing and footers could stand to be replaced.

Maintenance & Cleanliness
The cabin was in a great location and had breathtaking views. It was fully stocked as promised. The photos in the listing describe the cabin well. The cabin is however in need of significant maintenance. The floor is shot, creeks, gouging, and rotten in areas. In need of a good dusting and overall deep clean. Lots of damage upon arrival needing repair. I would use company again but choose a different cabin for sure.
We came up here for a relaxing girls weekend! We had plenty of space for the 9 of us and enjoyed the fire pit outside and the hot tub! Great location! Would highly recommend and stay again!
