The cottage Maimont independent house of 120 m2, comfortable for 6 people is located in Obersteinbach, a small village of 200 inhabitants nestled in the heart of the National Park of Vosges du Nord and in direct contact with the Naturpark Pfälzerwald. The nature without borders that surrounds the cottage offers the possibility of many activities such as hiking, cycling, horseback riding, climbing, fishing ...
It is a real haven of peace on the outskirts of the village.
A wooded and fenced plot of 1900m2 allows you to relax and rejuvenate in an exceptional setting: garden furniture, sun loungers, barbecue are at your disposal as well as outdoor games. The breathtaking view of the village, the rocks and sandstone castles of the Vosges give our home a unique cachet.

The house has 3 large bedrooms, a large living room with fully equipped open kitchen and fireplace (wood provided), 2 toilets and a bathroom with a large Italian shower.

Wir sind begeistert! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig, genau wie beschrieben und sehr gut ausgestattet. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswandern - einfach perfekt für ein Wanderwochenende! Wir haben es genossen, in der gut ausgestatteten Küche gemeinsam zu kochen und in dem schönen Wohn-/Esszimmer miteinander zu essen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten das Haus für 3 Nächte für einen Kurzwanderurlaub gebucht. Das Objekt ist wie beschrieben, es war alles Nötige vorhanden. Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig, in der Umgebung sind tolle Wanderungen möglich. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Een geweldige plek!

Vanaf het vakantiehuis zo het bos inlopen waar beekjes en kasteelruines en rotsen zijn. In de tuin kan je bij warm weer altijd een schaduwplek vinden onder een boom. Met altijd geweldig uitzicht alle kanten op! Het huis zelf blijft binnen lekker koel. Compleet met sauna en wasmachine kan je hier langere tijd verblijven. Een 5 sterren huis!

Very pleasant stay in a lovely location

The house is clean, quiet, and comfortable and has all the basics. Sylvie was very helpful and made many suggestions about local attractions, as well as generously bringing us a welcome bottle of local Cremant. The only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 were that we twice blew a fuse when using the oven at the same time as the stove (making dinner difficult!) and the inconvenience for us creaky old folks of having no upstairs bathroom. It would have been helpful if the description had made this clear.

Super Aufenthalt

Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten in der Natur und bietet nach allen Seiten eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein gemütlicher, modern eingerichteter Wohnraum mit großen Fenstern, an den sich eine sehr gut ausgestattete, offene Küche anschließt. An praktisch alle Verbrauchsmaterialien wurde gedacht. Außerdem befinden sich im Erdgeschoss ein großes Schlafzimmer, das man gut verdunkeln kann, ein Badezimmer mit begehbarer Dusche und ein kleiner Raum mit einer zusätzlichen Toilette. Im Obergeschoss sind zwei weitere Schlafzimmer. Wir haben uns in dem Haus wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter für den tollen Service.

Super Ambiente, tolle Lage, sehr nette Gastgeber, sehr sauber mit kompletter Ausstattung

Wir (zwischen 55 und 62 Jahre alt) haben in diesem Haus das Sylvester gefeiert. Das Haus ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und es fehlte uns an nichts. Es war sogar weihnachtlich geschmückt. Wir sind einfach begeistert. Wenn man die Ruhe und die Natur gern hat, ist das Haus einfach perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholen können. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr gute Wandermöglichkeiten mit tollen Wanderzielen, eine Vielzahl an Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Wir werden dieses Haus noch öfter buchen.

Vogesen-Idylle

Wir waren wenige Tage im Herbst in Obersteinbach und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das Haus ist gemütlich, super ausgestattet, sauber, ruhig gelegen und hat einen großen Garten. Und die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön: bewaldete Sandsteinfelsen, Burgruinen, Fachwerkdörfer, ein Ziegenhof und vieles mehr!

Tolles Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir haben uns in diesem wunderschön gelegenen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Direkt vom Haus kann man zu unzähligen Wanderungen aufbrechen. Auch der Badesee in der Nähe ist wirklich schön. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Urlaub auf dem Lande pur

Ich habe das angetroffen, was ich erwartet und erhofft habe: schöne Küche, großer Esstisch, sehr angenehme weiße Bettwäsche! Toller Garten mit wunderbarem Ausblick in alle 4 Richtungen! Wir haben die Ruhe genossen! Möglichkeiten zum Wandern gibt es mehr als genug!

Excellente location

Située en pleine nature, la maison est très bien équipée et très confortable. Ayant séjourné en hiver, on a particulièrement apprécié la cheminée, idéale pour récupérer d’une des belles promenades sur l’un des nombreux sentiers de randonnée qui débouchent tout autour. Les propriétaires sont à la fois discrets et disponibles en cas de question, même un peu simplette(« comment fait-on remonter la bonde du lavabo ? » par exemple) et débordent de petites attentions : bûches et allume-feu tout prêts par ex. Bref très bon séjour dans cadre enchanteur.
