Superb Exceptional Property

A marvellous renovated house in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains and ancient trees. Visited by cows and wild pigs. It is calm and scenic yet is exceptionally well equipped with even the smallest details provided. There is a daily bread and pastries delivery direct to the house. The house was beautifully clean when we arrived and we enjoyed sitting out in the cabana overlooking the pool and the mountains. It is 30 minutes from the coast but if you seek tranquility and an ambience with nature then this is the place to stay in.

Charmantes, großzügiges und perfekt ausgestattetes Haus, tolle Gastgeber - einfach zum Wohlfühlen

Wir waren mit zwei Familien für eine Woche dort und haben uns vom ersten Augenblick willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist rundum prima und es gab nichts, was wir vermisst haben. Vor allem, wenn man Selbstversorger ist und mit Kindern oder einer größeren Gruppe reist, weiß man es zu schätzen, wenn eine Küche vollumfänglich ausgestattet ist. Dazu gehört z.B. ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck, Töpfe usw. Persönlich finden wir es nachhaltig, wenn Dinge wie Gewürze, Öl usw.,die ggf. von anderen zurückgelassen wurden, weiter genutzt werden können. Die Zimmer sind individuell, bequem - genauso perfekt die Bäder. Die Liebe zum Detail seitens der Eigentümer ist zu spüren. Sehr angenehm war der Umgang mit dem Eigentümer, es gab Tipps und Hinweise für Restaurants und Ausflüge in der Gegend. Das Haus liegt am Ortsrand eines kleinen Bergdorfes und trotz Straße, die vor dem Haus verläuft, ist es sehr ruhig. Auch mit kleinen Kindern (bei uns war das jüngste 3 Jahre alt) ist es angenehm, da der Außenbereich komplett von Zaun oder kleiner Mauer umgeben ist und somit sicher vor Alleingängen. Wer die Nähe zum Meer sucht, muss mit einer ca. halbstündigen kurvenreichen Fahrt hinunter zur Küste rechnen, gleiches gilt für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Da aber ein Pool vorhanden ist, kann man einfach auch einen Tag vor Ort genießen. Da man (zumindest mit kleinen Kindern) für fast alles ein Auto braucht, gibt es einen kleinen Sterneabzug für Lage + Umgebung. Absolute Empfehlung!

Quiétude et repos au milieu de la Castaniccia Corse !

Toutes les notes 10/10 ne sont pas surcotées: cette demeure est en tous points remarquable par son haut niveau de confort et de propreté! Les photos sont le strict reflet de la réalité et expriment admirablement le charme douillet du lieu, rénové dans le respect de l’authenticité de cette belle maison de famille. Côté pratique, cuisine bien équipée, wifi parfaitement opérationnel, extérieur épatant, parking juste en face de la maison (3 à 4 véhicules se garent facilement). L’avantage de loger dans la montagne Corse en Août, c’est que les journées sont chaudes mais pas étouffantes, et que les nuits sont fraîches mais pas froides: impeccable pour profiter du soleil le jour et bien se reposer la nuit! Enfin, pour terminer, un immense merci, Patricia et Hervé! (ce sont les propriétaires, pas présents sur place, mais très à l’écoute si besoin). Pour ses 18 ans, nous avons souhaité offrir à notre fille Fiona « les plus belles vacances de sa (jeune) vie »; et la récompenser également pour l’obtention, en l’espace de quelques jours, de son bac avec mention + son permis de conduire. Non seulement elle a été enchantée par le lieu et son environnement; mais en plus, votre gentillesse, votre accueil, votre confiance, et vos conseils de visite et de vie pratique ont également contribué à faire de ces 7 jours une semaine inoubliable: merci pour elle! Ravis d’avoir fait votre connaissance, nous vous souhaitons une belle fin de saison, et une bonne continuation. Fiona, Valérie et Benoît.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus war einfach traumhaft, die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Einrichtung jedes einzelnen Raumes ist mit viel Herz ausgewählt, man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. Unsere Gastgeber waren unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit, es gab tolle Wandertipps und Lokalempfehlungen. Vielen lieben Dank an Herve und Patricia ! Besonders zu erwähnen sind der wunderschöne Pool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen, und die Küche draussen-einfach toll ! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und waren traurig, dass die zwei Wochen so schnell vorbei waren.

Sejour agreable

Maison correspondante à l'annonce en tout point, très agreable à l'interieur comme à l'extérieur avec une distraction animaliere tous les soirs (vaches, taureaux et veaux, sangliers, chèvres, chevaux et oiseaux...). Les proprietaires sont tres conviviaux et de bons conseils pour decouvrir les environs.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in den korsischen Wäldern

Alles in allem ein wunderschönes Haus mit perfekter Ausstattung. Es liegt an einer wenig befahrenen Straße ungefähr 30 Minuten von der Küste entfernt. Der Gastgeber war sehr herzlich und das Haus ausgesprochen sauber. Gerne wieder und komplett weiterzuempfehlen.

Tolles Haus zum Entspannen

Das Haus ist traumhaft. Sowohl die Ausstattung als auch die Außenanlage mit Pool ist einfach toll und sehr gepflegt, so dass wir auch einige Tage nur am Haus entspannt haben. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und das Haus perfekt übergeben. Zum nächsten Strand benötigt man leider ca. 30 min Fahrt, aber dafür entschädigt die Lage mit etwas kühleren Nächten als an der Küste und mit den schönen Kastanienwäldern zum Wandern. Uns hat es rundum sehr gut gefallen.

Beautiful house

We had an amazing stay at this location. The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need to make you feel comfortable during your vacation. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the outside lounge and the grill. Hervé and Patricia, who own the house, where great, too. They were welcoming and provided many insights and activity tips. We also enjoyed the restaurant near by in Ortale, where we also bought our baguettes every morning. The only downside, which did not bother us was the 30 minute drive to the valley. We really recommend this place, if you want to relax, soak in the sun, enjoy some pool action, and love nature as well as animals who can be considered your neighbors. Thanks Hervé and Patricia. Fünf Sterne!

Das Haus der Familie Demangeon war für uns das schönste in Castagniccia. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, sowohl was die Ausstattung und erst recht, was die umgebenden wunderschönen Kastanien-Urwälder und die sehr liebenswerte Art und Weise von Familie Demangeon angeht.
