This was a great little apartment right by RMNP. It has a balcony that overlooks a small stream, so leaving your patio door open (there's a screen) gives you a wonderful calming sound coming in.
It was quiet during our stay. No noisy other guests and the place was clean and well stocked for bedding/pillows.
The kitchen could use a few more basic items (a second cutting board. some small pyrex, a better chopping/cutting knife) but otherwise I can't really complain.
About the only thing I didn't like was that the foldout bed was incredibly creaky and noisy every time I moved. It didn't bother me, but I imagine it might be noisy for the people on the first floor below (no one ever complained about this though).
There was a super beautiful walking path down by the stream and I noted 23 different kinds of wild flowers within about a 20' length of the trail. Beautiful!
I would hands down stay here again.
The condo was in a great location and the property was very nice. The check in process was very easy as well. My only complaint is the accuracy of the listing, there is only laundry services available from 9am-5pm with multiple inconsistent reasons for this which is mainly due to the convenience of the staff and not the convenience of their customers. The front desk staff were rude once this was realized and very sarcastic in their responses to my concerns. My question was is which travelers wants to do laundry only between those hours when you are there to see RMNP during g those hours with timed entry tickets. It ruined our time that we were supposed to be enjoying the park. None of those laundry hours details were on my check in documents as well. We were at the end of our 14 days trip and had to spend over 3 hours at a laundry mat and more money than needed to get our laundry done. After reaching out to the host, I am still dis satisfied with their “resolution” to their poor communication and front desk demeanor which was not customer service focused. Out of a 14 day trip with lots of locations that we stayed, this one had the worst customer service and was one of the most expensive places we stayed. I wouldn’t return due to the fact of their terrible attitudes.
We loved it. Great location to be away from things, but close enough to get to dinner each night. We are both world travelers and picky. This was a great experience. I have 2 suggestions. Allow guests to cut through pool when it's closed to go down to creek. Yiu know how people are , amd they will want to get to creek. I was able to climb back up but some people may get down there and not be able to get nack up. Put a sign as to how heavy trash container is. I know they are near proof but it took me by suprise how heavy it really was when I tried to open it.
We had the BEST Christmas. Beautiful hiking weather, elk in the yard each morning, deck overlooking the river, snowfall and a little slope for sledding. Couldn’t have been better!
Single room with couch sleeper and kitchen. Great layout with separate entrance to room. Well equipped with fireplace. Only stayed 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had a very needed relaxing vacation. Our view from the balcony was beautiful with the Aspens changing colors and saw a herd of elk on the side of the mountain. We were there for the Elk Festival which we enjoyed. Close to shopping, Rocky Mountain entrance up the road from us, Lily Lake about a 40 minute drive, plenty to do or just relax and take it all in. We will be back
Fairly nice property, it is very dated. No AC in the rooms. Very narrow stairway to get up to the room. The balcony is very old and not very sturdy or safe. Otherwise a decent place to stay.
everything was great. comfortable, clean. only thing missing from kitchen was some tupperware to refrigerate leftovers from cooking. accessible yo town and park.
Property was as described by a few other reviews. A little dated. We found furniture uncomfortable. Beds were comfortable. Close to RMNP and easy to get to Estes park.
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The location couldn’t be better, it’s just a mile from RMNP entrance, which allowed easy access to the park, and about 3 miles away from Estes Park, so we were able to stay away from the crowds, yet have frequent trips to town. I loved the view from the balcony, Fall River is beautiful. The property staff were very accommodating and nice. We asked for extra items throughout our stay and each time our request was promptly completed. Kitchen was updated and an extra bathroom is a nice bonus. We will be coming back for sure!
Perfect place with a great location to both Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park
Great location being only a mile from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Downtown Estes Park was only a short drive also. The place was clean, cozy and having two full bathrooms was a bonus. Plus the staff were friendly and tons of movies and games to rent for free. Would definitely come back!!
Our condo was nice (just as pictured) there wasn't any exterior pictures of the building, besides the pool and the exterior could use some updating. Eating out in Estes is expensive and we like to cook our own meals. The kitchen was very slim on cookware, so I asked Daryl at the front desk about getting a larger pot to make soup and a 9 X13 baking dish and he provided them instantly. Problem solved!
