My grandparents were Italian immigrants and my mother was born on the GOLDEN CORNICHE between SAINT RAPHAEL and CANNES. She remembered walking barefoot on the red porphyry rocks of TRAYAS and guiding English tourists among the many creeks or small coves carved into the rocks in this region. She often told me that every place on this coast and in Provence Varoise where I live now, spoke to her. The room I am renting belongs to an apartment that she left me at FRÉJUS in a villa located just at the entrance to PORT FRÉJUS, in a special place to stay both in winter and summer. She also conveyed to me the very special pleasure she experienced when she welcomed visitors to these exceptional Mediterranean regions.

Staying in our villa in winter is an invitation to visit the extraordinary places of CANNES, ANTIBES, NICE, GRASSE, BIOT, SAINT PAUL DE VENCE, MENTON, MONACO and even to cross the border and venture on the Italian Riviera as well as to browse the old villages of PROVENCE and discover the beauty of their landscapes, their architecture and history as well as the way of life of their inhabitants.
