Great stay!

We have stayed in the beautifull house of Pierre which he built himself. Very impressing! We loved the surroundings and the quiet area the house is located in. Pierre gave us great tips for the area and also made sure we were comfortable during the heatwave which hit France during our stay. Thanks again!

Perfect Stay

We had a perfect stay in “The Key To The Stars” a beautiful house that is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The pool is perfect to cool off in, and the outside seating area is the place to sit and watch the sun set with a glass of wine. We even had a few visits from deer during the evenings to watch while eating our evening meal Pierre was the perfect host making sure our stay was enjoyable, lending us bikes that we used to ride the Sarlat Voie Verte bike path, and suggesting other places to visit. We look forward to another stay in his beautiful house. Andrew & Sally

Amazing house and location for our holiday! 5* all the way

We absolutely loved our stay in 'the key to the stars', and couldn't recommend this enough. The house is incredible, somehow even better than the photos depict. It had everything we could possibly need as a couple on holiday. The decor was beautiful and windows let in so much light and air. The location is heaven; we were shocked at how quiet and peaceful it was. I would recommend getting a car to get to nearby towns and villages but we were pleased with how many places that were in 20-30 mins car journey away. Pierre was there on our arrival and very thorough in explaining the property, pool and things we would need to know. The wine was also very appreciated! If you're lucky, you may even get a visit from a very cute and friendly cat.

Für Pierre

Ein Ferienhaus, das seinesgleichen sucht! Pierre hat hier wirklich einen "Schlüssel zu den Sternen" erschaffen. Bei diesem Haus merkt man, wie viel Liebe und Mühe hineingesteckt wurde. Dazu kommt dann ein zuvorkommender und freundlicher Gastgeber - Pierre. Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub im Périgord Noir verbracht. Die zentrale Lage der Unterkunft ermöglichte uns den Zugang zu unglaublich vielfältigen Attraktionen: von Märkten, Kanufahren, Grotten bis hin zu atemberaubenden Gärten und Schlössern. Im Périgord Noir bleiben keine Wünsche offen! Wir kommen gern wieder in dein "Clé des Étoiles", lieber Pierre!

Wirklich der Schlüssel zu den Sternen!

Prachtig huis op prachtige locatie

Prettige ontvangst door gastheer Pierre die ons graag van informatie over de omgeving wilde voorzien. Liet ons een heerlijk (niet toeristisch) strandje zien aan de Dordogne om lekker te zwemmen en visjes te vangen. Pierre woont op 100m van het huis en is beschikbaar als je hem nodig hebt, maar geeft je voldoende privacy. Toen het te warm was in de ouder slaapkamer (ondanks airco) regelde hij een (hoog) luchtbed voor op de vide waar het wat koeler was. Lekker zwembadje voor verkoeling. Goede tip voor Marché Gourmande. Tweemaal heerlijk gegeten bij Bistro de la Halle in Souillac. Ook Sarlat, Martel en Rocamadour zijn de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Prachtig huis, met liefde en aandacht gebouwd.

Séjour retour aux sources

Le logement est atypique et fondu dans la nature, uniquement de la végétation, le bruit des oiseaux et des grillons et un magnifique ciel étoilé car aucune pollution lumineuse aux alentours. Pierre est un hôte charmant et attentionné et tout est parfaitement expliqué et mis en place. Seul bémol, nous avons dû faire face à une canicule et une climatisation aurait été hautement appréciée. Heureusement, il y avait le bassin de détente. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ... merci Pierre !

Ganz weit weg - und doch so nah

Wunderschönes, ungewöhnliches Haus - weg vom Alltag. Wie im Prospekt, abseits vom Dorf, aber sehr gut erreichbar. Perfekter Startpunkt für die vielen Dinge, die man im Périgord machen kann. Das Haus ist ungewöhnlich eingerichtet, es ist alles da - und wenn nicht, einfach Pierre fragen. Der Gastgeber ist erreichbar und doch diskret.Seine Ideen hat er in dem kreativen, , aussergewöhnlichen und eigenwilligen Ambiente umgesetzt. Die Lage in der Natur, die Sterne in der Nacht, die Rehe am Morgen, die Stille - wo findet man das heute noch? Nach unseren Ausflügen haben wir uns schon immer auf das "Bassin" gefreut. Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce très beau gîte. Parfaitement situé à 2 égards : bon point de départ pour la visite de la majorité des points d'intérêt du Périgord noir mais aussi du Lot. D'autre part, dans une prairie en haut d'une colline et entourée de forêt. Gîte atypique, très bien équipé. Gérant très disponible. Beaucoup de conseils si besoin. Nous sommes partis en couple avec nos jeunes enfants et ce gîte peut je pense être facilement recommandé aux couples et aux familles.

Un spot parfait pour profiter du calme et découvrir le secteur

La maison est très bien équipée, parfaitement entretenue et on s'y sent très rapidement à l'aise … on pourrait dire comme chez soi, mais avec ses airs assumées de séchoir à tabac, elle reste atypique et son originalité ne nous a pas laissés indifférents. Le bassin en bout de terrasse, donnant sur un espace vert généreux entouré de forêts d'où s'extirpent parfois quelques chevreuils nous confirme que nous sommes bien loin de la ville ! Quant à la région, beaucoup de choses à découvrir aux alentours et pour tous les gouts : gastronomie, randonnées à pied ou en kayak, grottes, réserves zoologiques et villes intéressantes (Sarlat, Martel, Rocamadour ... ). Merci à Pierre pour son accueil et pour l'entretien de ce lieu calme et reposant.

En pleine nature, entre Dordogne et Lot

Très belle propriété atypique. Isolée en pleine nature avec les chevreuils, les lapins, les renards... Le bassin offre le point de rafraichissement nécessaire en cas de grosses chaleurs. Très belle adresse bien située entre les curiosités nombreuses de la Dordogne et du Lot.

Excellent séjour dans une magnifique demeure

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La propriété est immense et au calme, entourée par la forêt. Nous avons pu profiter de la venue d'animaux sauvages comme des biches ou des renards. La maison est très bien décorée, équipée et spacieuse. La piscine est chauffée et très agréable. Nous conseillons vivement ce lieu de vacances.

Perché dans la campagne, nous avons passé une semaine reposante dans ce cadre splendide. FORMIDABLE

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette si belle région. La maison est un havre de paix, où le maitre mot est la zen attitude. Prestations de qualité, avec un équipement très complet, et que dire du bassin que nous avons particulièrement apprécié.... Excellent séjour à la clé des étoiles

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette très jolie maison atypique et enchanteresse! Tout est réuni pour passer un très bon séjour dans ce joli cadre reposant. Les enfants ont particulièrement apprécié "le bassin". Pierre est un hôte très accueillant, passionné, disponible, réactif, qui nous a donné plein de conseils de visites et sorties, il y a tellement de choses à faire et à voir que nous sommes obligés de revenir :) La clé des étoiles porte très bien son nom alors foncez!

Hace honor a su nombre!

El nombre de la casa no puede ser más exacto. Un lugar acogedor que se transforma en increíble por la noches cuando fijas la vista en el cielo. Super vacances

La maison est aussi originale que les photos le laissent croire. La maison est très bien équipée. Elle propose plein de recoins à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur à essayer et apprécier en fonction des envies et des moments de la journée. On a apprécié le calme et la pleine nature, et aussi la proximité des 1000 choses à faire ou à découvrir.

Petit coin de paradis pour petits et grands,, couples ou une petite famille. Vue magnifique avec son petit bassin,que l on a pas quitté! Infrastructure top, plein de balades accessibles à pied. Propriétaire discret et à l écoute avec de très bons conseils sur les activités à faire dans la région.
