My friends and family really enjoyed the mountains and riding trails. Fishnet lodge is a great place to stay that did not disappoint. A big thank you to the Management for their help in making our stay in Mena area even better.
We were traveling to the Mena area for my Mom's burial and needed space for my whole family. The Fish Net did not disappoint. Our party of 13, including a baby had plenty of space.
After the burial, my sisters' families came over , and we had plenty of space for all 26 of us to gather and cook out.
We chose The Fishnet Lodge as a nice last minute getaway while also checking out a future place for the entire family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was plenty adequate for a large group, but we also enjoyed it with just the two of us. The owners are very personable and accommodating. When the grill ran out of propane in the middle of cooking, a new propane bottle was brought over immediately. I loved watching the birds and lightning bugs, plus we got a surprise fireworks show in the distance. Everything was spotless and well equipped with everything needed. We look forward to taking the kids and grandkids next time.
The pictures do not do this place justice. It was beautiful and very spacious! More than enough room for the family to spread out and enjoy themselves. We had fun making s’mores in the fire pit and grilling outside. The views are beautiful from all around the house, but we came to see the total eclipse. We were not disappointed. The eclipse was spectacular!
The house was clean and well stocked. We were greeted by the host, Robert, at check-in and he showed us around and answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again. Great for family gatherings and large enough to host an event.
Perfect stay. Excellent value. Communication with the owner was seamless. Super friendly. The house is absolutely perfect for groups or multiple families. The best part is the enormous island. The beds we used were very comfortable. Easy run south or north. The fog in the morning with the view from the deck was amazing. I am from this area and have very fond memories of when it was the restaurant and loved some of the original retained features. Will definitely be back!
We were surprised by how big the house is! We each set up our own office in this big room that has great views and a little electric fireplace!
Plenty of nice touches including lots of towels that smell nice and a huge refrigerator with icemaker! There is artwork throughout that's created by local artists - really cool.
House is within a few miles of great eateries and there were brochures available of fun places to visit.
Parking right at the front door and no stairs anywhere (which was important since we had hikers that enjoyed a nice level house.
EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATION!!!
The property was spacious and very accommodating. However, be sure to check out the fine print in pricing. I missed this and it ended up costing us almost double in the end.
This place was great for our group. We had room to spread out with all of the comforts of home. Owner was very responsive which was great. Highly recommend.
Lloyd, the owner, was great. He was very easy to work with. The house is very large. Plenty of space for a family or or a large group. My family had a bunch of fun. I would definitely stay there again.
Booked this property for a friends wedding in the area over the weekend. Nice and clean place. Very comfortable bed that I slept in. Plenty of room and firewood readily available fir the out door fire pit. A little on the pricey side, but I’d book it again.
We had an awesome time. The owner had the fire pit going when we got there. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space. It was very relaxing sitting out on the deck and sitting by the fire. I give our stay a 10 out of 10 and we will definitely stay here again.
Owner is amazing. We came in after a cold motorcycle ride to a beautiful home with gorgeous views and a warm fire that our host came over and has ready for us. The home is perfect for small and large groups. I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone coming to Mena, AR or the surrounding area.
