We had a really nice stay in unit 202 (an upstairs apartment) at Bahia Delfin. The place was basically clean (sleeping upstairs, I woke up with a couple of very long, black hair on my mattress, yet no one with long hair even sat in my bed during my stay... probably fell off of the blanket), and I absolutely loved staying in the upstairs room. Felt like a king. One thing I would advise to the owner is to have someone clean-out the shower heads. The water pressure is quite weak due to accumulated dirt/minerals, and it should be an easy fix.
My family and I liked the way the unit was decorated, and one thing that was extremely important to me was the air conditioning. San Carlos had temperatures in the 90s Fahrenheit almost every day we were there, and it's humid AF. It was awesome to arrive back "home" to a well-chilled environment! And if it's warm at night, I can't sleep... so the mini-split unit that they had in my bedroom was terrific. The central A/C downstairs was great, too. They might want to add a little sticky-note above the central A/C thermostat explaining how to change the temperature setting... it took a little while to figure it out.
One problem we had was the door to the washer/dryer being locked when we arrived. It took us a whole day or so to reach out to Catherine, the host, and by the time she got back to us, and we were able to get to the office to ask for a copy of the key, a few days had passed and we were desperate. Seems as though the company that Catherine uses to clean up the place, maintain it, and ready it for new arrivals messed up and didn't unlock it for us by mistake. Fortunately, management at Bahia Delfin had an extra copy provided to them by Catherine.
One recommendation I'd make to Catherine is to introduce yourself more personally to people who book your property. I'm not saying that a phone call is necessary, but when we received emails from you including Bahia Delfin rules and regs, we weren't completely clear as to who you were... if you were the host, or from Bahia Delfin, or a third party. We soon received emails from yet another email address, though I believe they were also from you. It was no big deal, but a little disorienting.
Any stay at Bahia Delfin involves following a LOT of rules and regulations, and mistakes such as hanging your wet towel over the wall of the balcony to dry can cost you a financial penalty, passed on from the host. It's not a terrible thing, just something to be aware of
