Welcome!
Martine and Bertrand are happy to welcome you to La Mouette Rieuse. Our property is located in a hamlet between Moëlan sur mer, Riec sur Belon and Pont-Aven, 2 km from the Bélon river and 10 km from the sea.
In a haven of peace, we offer you a dream stay. Your getaway room is independent with its own private entrance. Its bay window opens onto the garden. The bathroom with walk-in shower and WC are adjacent. In the entrance room, your dining area with your basic crockery, fridge, microwave and kettle.
Capacity: 2 people.
On reservation: In our veranda or in our house, we can serve you a hearty breakfast made with organic products (surcharge: €8 for breakfast).

The garden is a rich universe with its flowers, its vegetable garden, the greenhouse, the pond, the hens... You can relax there. your garden furniture, the hammock, and the deckchairs are at your disposal. Particular care is taken in decorating your room and bedding. Our place is a haven of peace where a beautiful harmony reigns. We take care of it and hope that you will find great well-being there.

Reservation: minimum 3 nights.
The price includes the bed made, towels, cleaning on departure and intermediate (if you wish) beyond 3 nights.

La Mouette Rieuse is an atypical space for welcoming and sharing.
We invite you to experience a more sober way of life in a participative spirit in connection with the residents of the place, the other travelers and the animals (cats and hens).

Here, we invite you to share special moments on an ad hoc basis according to your wishes and availability, and ours:

- Breakfasts, aperitifs, dinners (always in sharing formula)

- Yoga sessions (led by Bertrand)

- Life in the garden (flowers, organic vegetable garden, greenhouse, frog pond)

- Outdoor activities: walks, swimming, visits, shows... on foot, by bicycle, by carpooling (two bicycles are available).

In addition, we strive to limit our impact on the environment both in terms of waste management and our energy consumption.

If you are, like us, sensitive to these ecological issues, you can accompany us in this direction.

Our garden is a rich universe where you can relax (dining areas, hammock, deckchairs, etc.).

Our cats and our chickens are free in the unfenced property. Your pets are accepted provided that they are kept on a leash outside your accommodation and that they do not remain alone in your accommodation.

We play the violin as an amateur and we like to sing. Do not hesitate to come with your instruments.

Martine (sophrologist) is at your disposal for a deep and revitalizing relaxation session (cost 55€). Sevenka offers you a massage (on reservation)

Gite aout 2023

Nous sommes venus pour un séjout lié à un stage dans les environs. Acceuil très sympathique des propriétaires. Mais nous n'avons sans doute pas suffisamment lu l'annonce. Voyant indiqué présence d'un frigo, d'une cafetière, d'un micro-ondes et d'une bouilloire, nous n'avons pas compris qu'il n'y aurait que ça. Pas de plaque de cuisson, pas d'évier ni de plan de travail. Espace repas minuscule. Et le plus gênant, un logement rempli des affaires des propriétaires, aucune surface pour poser quoique ce soir, des objets décoratifs partout et surtout un accès intérieur aux propriétaires qui se sont permis d'entrer en notre absence. Les trappes à chats étant transparentes, nous les avions occulté et les paniers mis devant ont été déplacés lorsque la porte a été ouverte. La chambre est certes joli, le site aussi, mais nous ne reviendrons pas dans ce gite pour ces raisons. Malgré la proximité du lieu de stage.

Malgré notre gros retard pour l'arrivée, l'hôte a pris le temps de nous faire la visite intérieur et extérieur très agréable. Et des placards qui leur appartiennent et que nous ne devons pas ouvrir. Nous n'avons pas eu tellement d'échanges ou de conseils d'adresse durant notre séjour. Nous nous sommes sentis gênés parfois. La région est très belle et pleins de choses à faire.

J'ai passé un excellent weekend à La Mouette Rieuse et j'en garde de beaux souvenirs. Les hôtes Martine et Bertrand m'ont accueilli chaleureusement en m'invitant à l'apéro le jour de mon arrivée. La chambre ainsi que tout le décor intérieur créent une atmosphère paisible voire romantique. La lecture mise à disposition pendant le petit déjeuner typique de Bretagne servi à la véranda inspire le voyageur à planifier ses visites, randonnées ou autres activités dans la région. Ceux qui préfèrent passer leur temps dans le jardin ou la chambre peuvent se laisser inspirer par les ouvrages de la petite bibliothèque à côté du lit.

lovely and relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. The beautifully decorated room is set against the backdrop of a huge, relaxing and calm garden in which you can unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful area. The hosts are lovely, welcoming and warm-hearted people with a great sense of humour and lots of recommendations for a fabulous stay and served us a tasty breakfast of local and homemade produce, all in the beautiful setting of their house. There is no end of interesting towns and beautiful coastline you can visit from there so this Bed and Breakfast makes an excellent base for exploring the area. We highly recommend a stay with Martine and Bertrand as we had an amazing time and might very well return in the future.
