Enjoy a wonderful family vacation on the Bolivar Peninsula while staying in this beautifully decorated beach cabin! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, sleeps 10. TVs in all the bedrooms. Streaming TV and high speed internet (WIFI). Located on the second street, and short walking distance to beach access via Boyt Rd. Quiet family-friendly neighborhood, ocean view and full of amenities.

Helpful information:
• Sleeps 10 in beds
• Kitchen includes: Cookware, Cookie Sheets, serving bowls/trays, knives and cutting boards, Silverware, Plastic/glass dishes and glasses, Wine glasses, Coffee mugs, Coffee Pot (regular drip), Toaster, Microwave.
• All household linens included with rental. Linens included: sheets, pillows, quilts, kitchen towels, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, beach towels
• Extras Provided: Trash bags, 2 rolls of paper towels per stay, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom per stay, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soap, laundry detergent
• Full size washer/dryer
• Iron/ironing board/drying rack
• Six Adirondack style beach chairs, folding beach chairs and beach toys in garage
• Fully enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water
• Charcoal BBQ grill (charcoal/lighter fluid not provided)
• Swings located downstairs

Check-in: 4:00 p.m Check-out: 11:00 a.m (Ask for early check in or late check out)
• No pets
• No smoking inside
• No parties or events w/o permission
• Minimum age to rent is 25 (must show state DL or ID upon request)

Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
• The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or
• A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest
The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, I will refund:
• Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
• Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted;
• Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

BEACH PARKING PERMIT: Bolivar Peninsula requires a $10 permit to park your vehicle on the beach. It is a one-time fee and is good for the entire year. You can purchase this at the Big Store, the Valero, or from the local issuing authority when they are driving along the beach.

GOLF CARTS: Though not required, having a golf cart can be very convenient for shuttling back and forth to the beach and “cruising” on the beach. (You can also use your car/truck). Wonderful Stay

This is a great location for everything! We enjoyed the beach view, and the very short drive to the Ferry. We drove each day to the Ferry to go into the City of Galveston (so much better than staying in the city). We had a 1 and 2 year old with us so we did have to move the decorations out of reach but 10/10 recommend. Also a added note (if you have kids) the Master closet is big enough for a pack n play which was a game changer!

Comfortable and peaceful

My sister-in-law and I stayed in this home to recharge our batteries, read, browse the island, and catch up. The beds are awesome. We both said the same thing, that we slept so well. We leave today fully rested and a little sad our stay is over. The furnishings are excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Yearly Beach Cabin

This was the 7th year in a row me and 5 of my childhood friends all met up to watch the opening weekend of the NFL. Hands down of the 7 cabins, this has by far been the most clean, organized, most accommodationing, and up to date cabin we have stayed in. Very new feel with everything from the bathrooms, washer and dryer, kitchen counter, living room, and of course all the bedrooms. TV was provided which was a huge plus. Also, everyone agreed that all the beds were very comfortable. The host was super easy to communicate with and even allowed a early check-in. Hope this property continues to stay available, as we would definitely re-book here.

18th Beach Trip

The house had a GREAT location! It was so clean and fun! Plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed the amenities of beach chairs and the swings and washer boards! We will definitely recommend this house to friends and will hopefully use again!

Really nice property, our 2nd year to rent with our family of 6. Close to the beach, we rent a golf cart. The home is beautifully decorated inside, the deck and downstairs. We used grill downstairs. You will be pleased with this property.

Beautiful home,Broken fridge, a host that didnt care.

Oh my gosh, what a beautiful home. The perfect place for a retreat for 10 mothers to relax and read and be pampered. As hosts we cooked all of their meals, kept the cabin clean, and planned events and games to allow for the best weekend away. But how trashy that we had to ask our guests to bring coolers because this 2000 home we paid for didn’t have a working fridge. We had reached out to the owner and she admitted previous visitors had problems with the fridge, then proceeded to blame us and not refund even a little bit of money. She told us to go BUY COOLERS and ICE and sent us the location of the big store. I’m sorry if we pay 2k for your cabin and it says there is a fridge which was MANDATORY to spoil our guests, why would you NOT be apologetic at all, why would you ask us to thaw out the fridge for your home? Why would you not consider any reimbursement? If you want to live out of coolers and not have a fridge for your stay, this place is PERFECT for you. If you however plan on hosting and need a fridge, DO NOT COME HERE. We were kind, and let it go because what are we going to do? Force her to do something she is obviously unwilling to do? Yeah forget it. If you need a fridge move on. This ain’t the place.

Our 2nd Stay Here

This is a great property and we’ve stayed before and will stay again. We’ve stayed in tons of houses at Crystal Beach and this is one of our favorites. It has the most “home” like feel, very comfortable, clean, well decorated and a super location. If you’re looking for a house to relax in and enjoy a short walk or ride to the beach, look no further!

The most loveliest of stays!!

This was my family's first experience renting a beach house.. and honestly, you just never know. We were AMAZED at how clean this place was. That's how I judge a place. The aesthetic of the home, the layout, the close proximity to the beach (without the mosquitos that stay close to the dunes).. all of it was just lovely! Everything we needed was available. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen and on the grill. The beds were so comfortable! The host allowed us in a tad bit earlier which was HUGE! We were able to go in, get organized and head to the beach. We have found the home we want to visit yearly. 10/10 would recommend!!

Girls weekend

We had a great weekend stay here. It was perfect for our group to just hang out and relax. We loved that there was plenty of seating in the living area for our group! We all agreed the beds were comfortable. The house is just as the pictures so, it’s adorable!

This rental was recently built by my husband, Will (Harper Custom Homes), and has brought our family much fun and quality time together in the short time we've had it. We live in Lumberton, TX so we are a short drive away and visit often. We are renting it to offset some of the cost and to share it with our friends and family.

Why they chose this property

This house is located on the west end of the peninsula...out of the craziness of the Crystal Beach "zoo". Its located in a family-oriented neighborhood. Many of the homes around it are not rentals. We chose this spot because it is so close to the beach and because the beach at Boyt Rd is so wide and beautiful. It is still very close to restaurants and all the attractions!
