Coastal Charm directly on King's Bay with a view of Banana Island. Manatees, Dolphins & Mullet are frequently spotted from the backyard. The Plantation Resort is right around the corner and there is a boat ramp less than 3 miles away. 4 Kayaks, 8’ x 20’ floating dock; and head dock available for use during your stay (boat lift not available)

The house has been fully remodeled since Hurricane Idalia, with a new & moved AC unit, furniture, roof, flooring, bathroom & kitchen

Master bedroom: King Size bed, tv and a private full bathroom.
Second bedroom Room: Queen size bed, tv, and entrance into the roomy 2nd bathroom.

Great stay!

The house was amazing, very clean with updated renovations making it a very comfortable stay. Owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is spectacular with beautiful sunrise every morning. Even had a manatee greet me first thing while drinking my coffee watching the sunrise on dock. Will definitely rent again for our next family vacation.

Beautiful Location

This is our second time staying in this beautiful home with great views of the Bay. Short paddles to multiple springs, manatees off the dock, great kayaks. Great place to stay in King's Bay!

Amazing!!!!

We had such a great time! This house is absolutely beautiful. The location on kings bay was breathtaking. We saw so many manatees right off the dock. We caught so many fish. I can’t say enough good things about this home. We definitely will be visiting again.

Perfect Crystal River Home

Relaxing weekend

We had a great time! The owner was super helpful and communicative. The location of the property and water views are fabulous. The neighborhood is really quiet. We saw manatees right off the dock. The beds were very comfortable, so we slept like babies. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property!

Everything as advertised. Great waterfront view. We had manatees pass in front of the dock. Location was quiet and yet close to activities, shopping and restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen. Home had some Christmas decorations which was very nice and thoughtfully done. Would go back in a second.

Great house and water views!

Erica was a great host! Beyond helpful and accommodating. We did a last minute getaway and couldn’t of been happier with our choice. At night with the view it felt like the house was in the water. Truly spectacular water views to wake up to and also loved the mid century vibe of the house. Having the kayaks here was an added bonus and super easy to kayak right out into the bay. The location was perfect and close to everything. Would definitely recommend and stay at Erica’s place again.

Nice house, beautiful location!

The house was as advertised. The location on the bay was beautiful. Communication with the owner was great and the check-in process was very simple. The ONLY thing keeping me from giving 5 stars was AC. It simply could not keep up with August heat. The temp inside was usually around 80f during the day and wven uncomfortable at night. I do wish that had been communicated earlier/better. However, we still enjoyed our time in Crystal River.

Sensational accommodations

Location was key when selecting a place to vacation. This house had so much more than we expected and the view from the house was beautiful! We used the kayaks and saw so many dolphins and manatees. We could have just stayed for a month. Incredibly pleased with every aspect of this experience! There was so much attention to detail with the quality of sheets and towels to supplies for cleaning and even a variety of soaps, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, condiments for sandwiches and coffees and teas, sugar and creamers included. You literally could bring a bag of clothes and a small cooler and be set for the weekend! The front door was a little challenging to operate but we went in and out of the carport entrance so it wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend this house!

Great grouper trip

Did some trolling for grouper had our limit and back to house we had a 32 ft yellow fin little too big for dock my 22angler I got out at low tide just aim towards dock on port side or left side of the house and cut out there loves how easy the house was and will be staying again

Paradise on King's Bay

Wonderful property with great views and amenities. Super clean and comfortable. The kayaks were easy to paddle to the springs. even saw manatee right off the dock!

Loved staying here! I came with my husband, sister, and some friends. It was a great location on the water with a floating dock! The house was done nice and the check in and out process was convenient and painless! Would definitely come back again!

Weekend getaway

This is an excellent property. The boat dock was great for evening fishing, having the kayaks was an added bonus. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The proximity to freedom boat club was great and the dock was a nice bonus to drop off some family members that wants an afternoon break.

Framily Scallop Trip

This was a great property for our friends/family scallop trip! The house was just as described, clean and well equipped with anything that you need. Magical Stay on King's Bay

I have to start by 5 Star review by saying Erica is one of the absolute BEST hostesses we have had in over 10 years of using VRBO in locations throughout the world. She never hesitated to answer a question or give us advice all of which made our trip spectacular. Additionally, my daughter ended up leaving her headphones behind and Erica personally went over to the house and searched high and low and found them - made my teen's day! The house is your typical Florida ranch and while the decor* might be a little dated the house is spotless, the linens and beds are super comfortable and the way Erica has put together the space allowed for a lot of flexibility for our party of 5. The appliances are all brand new and made cooking, doing dishes, and running a load of laundry a breeze. Our favorite part of the house was sitting out on the screened in porch looking at the beautiful view of King's Bay. As for the real reason people come to Crystal River - THE MANATEES... Erica's house is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the water and all of the wildlife in and around the bay. The use of the kayaks was PRICELESS!! Having been to CR before and taken a tour boat to visit with the manatees I can honestly say I will NEVER do that again. Thanks to Erica we just hopped in the kayaks and got to see so much of the bay and Crystal River including lots of up close and personal encounters with manatees. I wasn't sure if we would be able to see them since many have left the area by mid-April, but we never had a problem finding a pair to kayak alongside. One afternoon we jumped in the water at the end of the dock and swam/snorkeled into the little spring area (Dolores Spring) right next to the house where we were able to locate a mom and calf to swim with. The mom even took off to feed for a bit leaving her calf to play alongside of us. Erica's home is in the perfect location to enjoy Crystal River and all it has to offer and with her advice you will have a magical experience. We will definitely be back. *By decor I am referring too things like the bathrooms which could use some updating and not to the actual furnishings. The house is furnished in perfect Floridian style. Also, if you are blessed with the kind of weather we had you aren't going to spend much time inside as it is!

The best of Florida's Nature Coast

Nestled under stately oaks and palms, this waterfront home offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the crystal clear, fresh water of King's Bay from nearly every room. The screened back porch and large dock provide the perfect setting to enjoy your morning coffee, meals or a glass of wine as you watch wildlife from humming birds and ospreys to manatees swimming next to the dock. The home is very comfortable and clean with large rooms and lots of natural light. It's also just minutes to the charming little town of Crystal River and its quaint shops and restaurants. Erica was an excellent host and I highly recommend this beautiful piece of paradise for anyone looking to experience real Florida.
