About this property
In town living at its finest in this multi-level, newly constructed home
**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary and Final Availability is Subject to Homeowner Approval.**
A new house in an old Jackson neighborhood nestled into the side of Snow King Mountain, Jackson View is the place for you if you’re looking for a contemporary home base that allows you to feel like a local and offers easy access to both trails and the amenities of downtown Jackson. From this three-bedroom, reverse-living home, you can walk to Snow King Mountain’s ski lifts and extensive biking/hiking trail network or to Jackson’s iconic elk antler arched Town Square. (Better yet, continue one block east of the Square to Persephone Bakery Café, home to one of the best croissants this side of the Atlantic).
Most of your Pine Drive neighbors are Jackson locals and the surrounding homes are as eclectic as they are unique. The street has everything from historic log cabins to A-frame ski chalets, small apartment buildings, well-kept single-family homes, and a couple of other new homes that are as modern in design as Jackson View.
The ground and first floors of Jackson View are the home’s private spaces. The ground floor has a full bathroom and a guest bedroom with a queen size bed. The first floor has the master suite, which has a king size bed, walk-in closet, wall of north-facing windows that look out on Saddle Butte, and a bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. Also, on the first floor is a bunkroom with two twin beds and two full beds. A bathroom with a combined shower/tub is just outside the bunkroom’s door.
As well appointed as Jackson View’s three bedrooms are, if you stay here, you’ll likely be spending most of your time upstairs in the combined kitchen/dining/living room. Decorated by Alex Nye, an interior designer with local design studio/shop Home Again, this space is colorful, cozy, and sophisticated, and has the home’s best views of the Tetons. (Even the powder room on this floor has great views—Josie’s Ridge, a popular local hike can be seen from the window above the sink, which is custom-made from a stone slab).
A dining table on this floor seats six and there are a couple of stools at the kitchen island. A sectional sofa is the perfect place to rest after a day spent wildlife watching, skiing, shopping, or hiking. If the weather permits, enjoy the sunset from the deck.
Any chef will feel at home in the kitchen, which has appliances from Electrolux and Jenn-Air. But, of course, you don’t have to cook at all. Downtown Jackson and all its restaurants are a short walk or drive away.
