Welcome to Summerhouse Condo in Charlevoix, Michigan, just 3 miles from downtown. When not staying ourselves, we offer our 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo to couples or small families looking to relax in a scenic and quiet setting while enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of Up North. This is your vacation destination to enjoy beaches, biking, skiing, wineries, day tripping, and so much more. We are located less than a mile from Shanahan’s Barn and 6.5 miles from Castle Farms if coming to enjoy a wedding. We are also conveniently located to many favorite Up North destinations.

Our Summerhouse Condo is located within the Charlevoix Country Club overlooking the first fairway. Our condo includes over 1200 square feet in an easily accessible lower unit (no stairs), central air, and fireplace. The condo includes a fully furnished kitchen and well-supplied bathrooms. The living room opens to a walkout patio overlooking the first fairway with seating. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a full bathroom, and a sliding door to the outside patio while the spacious second bedroom includes two full-size beds, full bathroom, and kitchenette. WIFI and smart TV and/or Roku for streaming on the living room and second bedroom TV are included for your enjoyment. Additional condo features include a full-size washer and dryer in the utility room and a one car garage.

Cutting right across the front of the CCC property is the Little Traverse Wheelway. This 29 mile long paved path runs from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs and is great for bikers, joggers, hikers and skaters.

***From July - August, we rent by the week only, with the weeks running 4 pm Sunday thru 11 am Sunday.***

Pre approval is needed for pets and may be allowed with a $75 pet fee per stay. Please send inquiry with breed, size, age, and behaviors.

This was our 2nd visit to Charlevoix and to this condo. So clean, relaxing, and a perfect “base” for exploring the area and nearby areas. Kim is very responsive and helpful!

A fantastic getaway

This was our second stay at this location. We hope to return many more times. Kim is a fantastic and flexible host. We initially thought we weren’t going to be able to keep our reservation and she was very nice about letting us choose a different time. But our original plan was able to happen and we had a great time relaxing. The condo is very quiet and very well stocked. The setting is beautiful. I highly recommend this place.

Best Charlevoix Location!

This was the fifth time we've rented this property. Its clean, private, beautiful, and well kept. We were happy to see the great upgrades to the condo, too! Kimberly is an exceptional owner and always prompt. The location is inbetween Petoskey and Charlevoix with plenty of activities available and places to eat. We highly recommend this location!!!

Perfect Stay

We love the Charlevoix Country Club as we used to own property there, so it was like coming “home”. The condo was exceptionally clean and convenient for what we had planned for our stay. 3 night getaway

The Charlevoix Country Club is a beautifully maintained location. The bike trail starts at the entrance to the CCC. Location is perfect. Far enough from the noise in town but a quick car ride to get there..half hour to Petoskey and Boyne and hour to Mackinac and Traverse. We walked the grounds and chatted with lots of friendly people. Did not eat at clubhouse or use amenities ...all which were available for non-members for a fee. The condo unit is well maintained. The garage is not cluttered with personal items that take up space so consequently our vehicle with loaded bike carrier drove right in. 4 digit passcode easily allows entry to building...no keys to look for. Once inside, the unit is quiet....so quiet and cozy. It is clean and well thought out as far as needs of a guest. Only used one of the bedrooms and the king mattress was super comfortable. 2 year old stackable washer and dryer to use and take home clean laundry. Highly recommend. Perfect hosts and we were grateful.

This place was perfect!

We have stayed at many rental properties over the years, and this one was one of the very best. The price was fair for this time of the year, and check-in communication was spot-on. As a golfer, the location was awesome! Even better though was the inside. It was very clean and well laid-out. The master bedroom overlooks the 1sr fairway - what a nice view to start your day! All the essentials one could ask for were there in the condo. Wi-Fi worked great. Decor was perfect for this part of Michigan. Only part of stay that we didn’t quite figure out was the TV, but to be fair, we did not look at the instructions as the owners suggested. Overall, this was an excellent stay for us, and one we hope to repeat again in the future.

Excellent Charlevoix Getaway

This was a great place to stay. We had a long sister's weekend and there were so many fun things to do! Thiscondo is in the perfect location because it's not far from Petoskey or Charlevoix. The linens and towels were plentiful, the kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to cook, and the place itself was quiet and peaceful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Communication with the owners was wonderful. Highly recommend!!

Nice place

This was our second time staying here in the winter and we really love the solitude. it’s a short drive to Charlevoix for shopping and dining and also a short drive to Petoskey. The kitchen is well equipped, but I would say the couch could use replacing as well as the master mattress and sheets. Every time my husband moved I felt the mattress bouncing up and down. The owner Kim responded to my questions immediately and was very kind. We had our big Goldendoodle with us which was nice and though he smelled other dogs in the condo, we didn’t. I would recommend this condo!

Northern Michigan Destination

The Charlevoix, Bay Harbor, Petoskey, Bayview and Harbor Springs area of Michigan has so much to offer. This beautiful condo puts us in the heart of it all, while it also is in a beautiful, quiet, walkable neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts were available and communicated well. Perfect Charlevoix Getaway

My sisters and I rented this condo for the third time. The condo was the perfect size and the perfect price for us. There were very quiet and polite neighbors and great, fun things to do in the area. Communication with the host was open and went well. There was nothing we would have changed about our stay. The beds, sheets, and towels were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. We really hope to come back every year to make it a yearly tradition. Thank you for letting us stay!

We just love Up North and had rented this condo the last two times we stayed in Charlevoix. During our last stay in July 2019, we discovered the condo was for sale. Since we realized we loved the area and the size, location, and layout of the condo, we decided to buy it from Steve. Lucky for us, Steve will continue to service the condo and act as the local contact for any emergencies that may arise. If you have rented the condo from Steve in the past, you will receive the same great service and rental experience. We are happy and excited to now have our own place Up North and to allow others to continue to rent when we are not staying ourselves.
